Sometimes the photographer can get just a little artsy with help from the digital tools
available in the marketplace. I use Photoshop - what do you like - ideas and tips eagerly
traded.

My "best known" graphic work so far
is the Christmas Island Events 2000 wall calendar. It is written in 3 languages and
contains all the holidays and religous observances on the island. It is very gratifying to
see many of these still being displayed in island businesses and homes. 3000 were sold
throughout the island, mainland Australia and SE Asia. (Thumbnail goes to full size A4
jpeg)

This thumbnail takes you to an ad design for a music school. It was used as a colour A4
flyer and insert. The Aelemon 2000 design was used as a promo for the end of year student
concert.

One of the things I do on Christmas Island is a weekly radio program. Australia
recently had a spate of scandals involving talk back radio hosts receiving cash in return for favourable comments
toward corporations and individuals during their programs. I was outraged that no one
called me and offered a "brown paper bag." The thumbnail will take you to my
full page ad expressing my willingness to participate in any skullduggery involving graft.

The Lindsay pantings of Ned Kelly have always struck a chord so when I saw this scrap
metal rusting in the jungle I couldn't help but see Ned's bones. Can you? Its not an
"altered image" but I think it is the abstract come to "life" even if
it is in death.
