Ammonia

nitrogencycle.org

Ammonia is NH3. This is the first step in the
nitrogen cycle. Nitrogen ( N≡N ) is fixed from the air
to ammonia.

This chemical is vital for plants to grow. It is the same
as household ammonia and eventually goes into building
protein that are the building blocks of life. This is the first
natural step by nature to use the reserve of nitrogen in
our atmosphere. The N≡N in the air becomes the source
of nitogen for two molecules in ammonia NH3 + NH3.
