I get better at explaining something with more study. After a while more
pieces of a subject fit together. This Blood lessons is difficult. I have lots
of notes then ( try ) to make lessons easier to learn, with good links. Oh Yes, and HTML ect . . . .
CO2 + H2O < reverses > HCO3-  H+
Hb + H+ ---- > Hb-H
CO2 exhaled
Hb-O2

at lungs
HCO3-    Hb-H
O2 --- > Hb-O2    H+
HCO3-    H+ --- >    H2O   CO2    out
Hb-O2    in
to cell < --- Hb-O2
Hb-H --- > to lungs
CO2 + H2O --- > carbonic acid or H2CO3
dissociates in RBC
H+ + HCO3- / bicarbonate < exits > RBC into plasma with Chloride shift.
Above < reverses > to Carbon Dioxide, again, to be exhaled at lungs. Simple, Ha Ha Ha
Process reverses to CO2 at lungs again, SiMple. CO2 out then Oxygen in.

CO2 + H2O from cell metabolism
H2CO3
     V
     HCO3- H+
     V
H2CO3
     V
H2O + CO2 breathed out lungs

Do you see it all, yet ?
cell CO2 + H2O -----> H + HCO3 -----> CO2 + H2O lungs

cell O2 <----- Hb-O2 <------ O2 lungs

CO2 + H2O ↔ H2CO3 ↔ H+ + HCO3
