- Wow, there's a lot of news in the TLE camp at the moment, excitement levels are growing as we all await the new album
- Speaking of the new album, it will be titled "Roll On" and will be in stores on November 20.
- The first single "Pictures in the Mirror" will be released on October 16 and is already getting plenty of airplay on JJJ.
- TLE are playing Homebake 2000 at the Sydney Domain on December 9. Tickets are about $50 and are on sale now. Other bands at HB include Jebediah, Bodyjar and heaps more.
- The guys recently spent a few more days in the studio recording a few covers for Juice magazine. These will be available with an issue of Juice in the near future.
- And finally, Scott has got himself a new bass. Check it out.

- HOLY S*#T ITS AN UPDATE!!
- Well TLE Fever seems to be kicking in as a number of tourdates are emerging. It has been announced that the guys will play at this year's LIVID FESTIVAL at Brisbane with GREEN DAY, MILLENCOLIN, 28 DAYS, LOU REED among others, with more to be announced.
- The new album is well in the works with the guys apparently heading to the States very shortly to mix it. Needless to say I CANT WAIT!!

- T.L.E won two ARIA awards for Best Group and Best New Artist(album).
- The Living End self-titled album has gone platinum four times in Australia!!!
August 25 99
- The Riot Tour is set to commence damn soon. If you take any pics at any of the shows, send them to me and I'll post them for you.

- Remember the ONYA's?? Well, thanks to you guys, All Torn Down was lucky enough to come 19th out of 79 entries in the Best Fan Site category, thanks for voting hopefully next year can be better.

- The US release of Prisoner of Society is now in stores with B-sides of Lone Ranger and Sleep On It.
- The Living End will be releasing a video sometime late in the year with home footage as well as all the video clips.
- Tour dates for the Oz Tour are to be *officially* announced on August 2 however, a little birdie has told me that TLE will be touring with Stereophonics and Eskimo Joe....I am also led to beleive that tickets go on sale on August 13, but dont hold me to that.

The guys played a mad set over the net all those weeks ago, they played the living end, monday, save the day and all the usuals, except....they played English Army, i thought this was quite cool, and if you missed it, well....too bad. Um, oh yeah they are in USA and Canada and that at the moment with Offspring and there is a rumour that they will be touring ***AUSTRALIA*** with Offspring, how cool would that be??? OK thats all....this message will self-destruct in 5 seconds............BOOM!

(24/12/98) The news we have all been waiting for, the second single off The Living End album will be released on January 5. For those of you who don't know already, the main track will be All Torn Down. Also on the CD will be Tainted Love and a CD-ROM component that has videos of the guys. Other big news is that the CD will only be $5!!! So there you go.
(10/12/98) Alright here it is, the first piece of news, and I think it is pretty much an exclusive. My sister, (12 years old) watches some TV show on the ABC called "Race Around The Corner". Normally, I'd say that this show is a piece of shit, but on Monday(haha) my sister called out to me "Nathan, the dude from The Living End is on TV". So I turned it on and there he was. Scott was judging the entrants on the show and making some excellent comments on the quality of the entries. He seemed really,really interested in the show.
