The bureau also does searches for births at $10.00 per 5-year search. Be sure to include a S.A.S.E with your request!

Overview of Montana Adoption Information
As of 1985, adoption records were accessible only through court orders. Montana has a Confidential Intermediaries (CI) Program. Ask at the State Adoption Registry how to petition the court to open the file to an intermediary.
