Who We Are

TNR is family owned and operated by Pete and Linda Nichols. Pete has trained and hunted sporting dogs for over 30 years. We are located in the high desert of Northwest Colorado.

It has been our main goal to raise quality German Shorthaired Pointers that have sound temperaments, hunting drive and willingness to please. Our pups are intelligent, good looking and make wonderful companions.

Our dogs are used on our game bird preserve and hunted several days a week during season. Our pups have gone on to be hunt test competitors, gun dogs and great companions.

Our puppies are bred from some of the finest bloodlines (FC Dixieland’s Rusty, DC/AFC Rusty Spur, FC AFC Beier’s Evolution, NFC FC Rawhides Clown) and proven hunters. They are:

• Socialized
  
• Introduced to birds
  
• Dew claws removed, tails docked, first immunization shots, wormed.

All of our breeding stock are OFA to insure no hereditary problems.

Breeding, training, hunting and raising game birds is a full time endeavor at TNR Game Preserve and Kennels.
