for the Visual and Performing Arts:
The Visual and Performing Arts Framework is currently being updated to include
the state-adopted standards and is scheduled for adoption by the State Board of
Education in the early part of 2004. The Curriculum Development and Supplemental
Materials Commission (Curriculum Commission) is overseeing the update of the framework.
After the Curriculum commission reviews the draft document and CDE Press edits
it, the draft version is expected to be available for field review in April 2003.
