ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Alex Pol is a collector of toasts. He is retired at present.

Alex was born in the former Soviet Union. His family emigrated to the United States more than twenty years ago.

Living in the USSR, Alex collected postage stamps, books and toasts.

Alex shares his collection of toasts already raised at Russian speaking parties with the hope of reaching toastmakers of many nations to add to his collection.

Alex is a devoted tennis player, who started playing tennis at the age of 50 and reached the 4.0 USTA level by age 60.

Alex Pol is married. His wife is an engineer and continues to work. Their two children are grown and live separately from them.
