Gilles OLIVE

(September 1986)

I am 31 years old. I was born in Marseilles, France. I was a programmer on ATARI ST at my lost hours (send me a e-mall if you want to know the programs I am developping). Recently, I learns the Provençal (old langage) and I am interested in the history of Marseilles.

I studying at the Faculté de Saint Jérôme, University of Marseilles. The 12th of March 1998, I past my Ph. D. (very honorable mention with congratulation of the jury) : Synthèse de Nouvelles Nitrones du Type Pyrroline-N-Oxyde et leur Utilisation en Spin-Trapping (Synthesis of New Pyrrolin-N-Oxide Nitrones and their use in Spin-Trapping Experiments). In fact I synthesized phosphorylated Nitrones on wich I spin-trapped the superoxide radical anion and the hydroxyl radical, in order to study their ESR spectrum and the stability of the spin adduct.
Since the 15th of April, I am doing a Post Doctorate for two years at theTUE of Eindhoven (The Netherlands) in a polymerist group (team of Pr. A. German).
