Select from Dolby Pro Logic Theater, Hall, Live, and Arena to find the listening environment that best suits your source and mood.
Motorola DSP Chip for Quality Sound Processing
While other manufacturers use a DSP with 16-bits or less, Onkyo's latest models employ the renowned, high-performance, exclusive Motorola 24-bit/50Mhz "Symphony" 56004 DSP chip to reduce rounding errors and increase the processing speed of conventional circuitry found in other brands.
The Symphony 24-bit/50Mhz DSP chip can execute 25 Million Infomation Per Second using three separate buses to access command and data simultaneously. This becomes critical when you are trying to replicate the thousands of reflections and reverberations that make a theater or stadium sound distinctly different than your living room.
Motorola's DSP chip gives superb DSP capability and better ambience, including Dolby Pro Logic. The result: improved channel seperation, better dynamic range, better localization of voices and lower noise levels.
Automated Convenience of Intelligent Power Management
For serious viewers, the ability to switch on your entire system at once and have it automatically select Video-1 is not only convenient, but smart. Get instant surround sound for easier living with Onkyo's Intelligent Power Management (IPM) system.
A flick of the switch can immediately transport you into an exciting AV environment.
5-Menu On-Screen Display in 8 Colors
