A few words about me

L ife is really mysterious. I neither know where I came from nor where I am going. All I know is that I was born on March 25, 1963 in the small town of Maribor in the small country of Slovenia, formerly part of Yugoslavia. I do not remember even this, I just believe those who reported it to me. After spending my youth in the lovely Slovenian countryside and going to school I suddenly landed a job as a policeman at which I worked for three years.
That was interesting work - living in a communist country with different values from my own personal one and all the while feeling that something was going to change in a big way. Not everything was bad; there were also some good aspects which have largely been forgotten.
After three years, I left police work to pursue my personal interests. For the next ten years I traveled abroad searching for some more important meaning to life. I investigated many different monasteries and spiritual teachers, from England, Australia, India, USA, Brazil, and Greece, from Buddhism to the desert Fathers of Christianity.
But above all this the real change in my life came when I discovered Osho and then became a Sannyasin. Since then my real life’s journey has begun.
Today I live with my wife, Indira and her son, Sasho in a small village called Kunova, where we have managed to renovate a cute, dreamlike house. Here in Kunova I try to apply everything I have learned in my travels. I love doing gardening, pottering, painting - ah, there are so many things I enjoy doing. Working with nature helps me to better know myself.
I am no longer asking the meaning of life but rather am simply living it, here and now with the flowers, birds, and clouds . . .
and from time to time I enjoy having a cup of tea...
