Nocti & Krysa were busy looking through hundreds of books in the Angeleese Library. Nocti was starting to get exhausted, but Krysa still had lots of energy to burn. "Aunt Krysa, did you find anything yet?" Nocti said after she bellowed out a loud yawn. "No, not yet. Could you hand me that book, please." Krysa said.

Nocti carried a large pile of books in her hands while walking to Krysa. She lost her balance and fell, bringing a shower of library books. One particular book fell down on the table and ironically opened to section about another person with the same ailment that Hystalin had on Angelus. "Nocti, look at this!" Krysa shouted.

Nocti & Krysa looked at the book. "It says here that someone by the name of Pickit had the same condition Hystalin had. It says that he had the Angeleese Spell of Anti-Tail Growth." Krysa said. "That is the exact same spell that was used on your mother when she was born!" Nocti was amazed.

"There is more." Krysa said as she continued reading the book. "It says that he was attacked by the Satan's Hellfire spell by Victoro when he was 23, and the seal on him was corrupted. His tail grew, but it could not be removed." Nocti's eyes widened. "Mother has that condition right now!" Nocti said. "Read on!"

Krysa continued reading the book. "He looked at the moon and turned into a giant were-monkey. He ravaged throughout Angelus and destroyed everything in his path without control. When he approached the Dewarrloc Castle, a blind musician performed a melody that distracted Pickit with his sitar. The minstrel's name is Acousto." Nocti barely recognizes the name. "Where have I heard that before?" Nocti said. "You should know. Acousto was your grandfather, and my father." Krysa said.

Nocti looked to the book. "It says here that he met his death by the hands of... Psychozzi. With a spear in his hand, which he called the Spear of White, he thrusted it through the mutant's heart and cut the tail off as a trophy." Nocti said as he read on. "This Spear of White could be the only thing that can cure my mother! Whatever happened to Psychozzi?" Krysa told her niece that Psychozzi left Angelus centuries ago to a nearby planet. "Well, where?" Nocti asked. "You're not going to believe this, but he left to Thundera." Krysa said. "He left to that planet with his trophy after he killed Pickit."

Meanwhile, back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo was flying throughout New Thundera for the Dragon Balls. "What does the tracker say?" Mumm-Ruzzo asked. Brainchild looked at his father's tracker. "It says that it's about a mile north from where we are." Brainchild looked to the north and looks at a garden of beautiful greenery. "That is the Garden of Youth. Anyone who enters it will have the Hands of Time tick back on them rather quickly. Only the immortal are immune to the effects of the Gardens of Youth, so I shall go in."

Mumm-Ruzzo entered the Gardens of Youth. After several minutes of precarious searching, he found the 2-star Dragon Ball lying in a small bush. He grabbed the Dragon Ball and left the Gardens of Youth. "I found the second Dragon Ball." Mumm-Ruzzo said as he carried the 2-star Dragon Ball in his hands. "We have five more Dragon Balls left to find."

Back in the Angeleese Library, Nocti & Krysa grabbed the book and begun leaving the library. "We better bring this to your father." Krysa said. "Maybe he might give more insight to this." Just then, the doors outside quickly shut tight. Most of the candles in the library blew out, giving the place an ominous look. "Aunt Krysa, what's going on?" Nocti asked. Krysa just stood silently and took a defensive stance.

The doors opened and none other than Dark Krysa appeared. "What the... Didn't you die on Hook Mountain?" Nocti shouted out. Dark Krysa just laughed. "So, my evil self has come to me." Krysa said. "Evil self?!" Nocti shouted. "What the hell do you mean by evil self?" "It's a long story." Krysa said. Krysa begun telling her story about her and Dark Krysa.

Years ago, me and Dark Krysa were one person. In a battle between me and Victoro, your mother's greatest adversary, I was forced to look upon the Mirror of Anti-Reality. It brought my evil self out to the world. I am the white side, and Dark Krysa is my black side. If we both die, we both cease to exist.

"Finally, I get the chance to kill you, my good self!" Dark Krysa shouted. "I shall find pleasure in killing you!" Dark Krysa readied her dagger, as did Krysa. "Aunt Krysa, let me handle her." Nocti said. "No!" Krysa shouted. "This is my fight alone! Please, stay out of this!" Krysa & Dark Krysa engaged in battle.

Meanwhile, back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo was still on their trek for New Thundera's Dragon Balls. "Where is the next Dragon Ball?" Mumm-Ruzzo asked. Brainchild looked at the tracker. "This is unexpected!" Brainchild shouted. "There are two Dragon Balls nearby! They're practically on the same place!" Mumm-Ruzzo was surprised as well. "Where are the next Dragon Balls?" The tracker pointed to the west. "The tracker says that it is to the west." Brainchild said as he looked at his tracker a second time." Brainchild said. "The Forest of Darkness is in that direction."

Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo made it to the beginning of the Forest of Darkness. "These will come in handy." Brainchild says has held out a pair of Cats' Eyes Visors. Brainchild put on a pair. Brainchild offered Mumm-Ruzzo a pair, but declined, for he can see even in total darkness with the aid of technology. They entered precariously inside the Forest of Darkness.

On New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo was struggling in the Forest of Darkness for the next Dragon Balls. "I think there is something wrong with my Cats' Eyes." Brainchild said. "All I see is a red lights on a black background." Mumm-Ruzzo was expecting such. "Take the Cats' Eyes off your eyes." Mumm-Ruzzo said. "Use the Mind Gem. It can be your eyes when you cannot see." Brainchild did just that.

Meanwhile, back on New Thundera, Krysa & Dark Krysa were locked in a heated knife fight. Not one could overpower the other. Nocti continued to offer her help; however, Krysa continued to say that she does not want any help in defeating her evil self. While Krysa talked, Dark Krysa used her black ribbons to tie up Krysa and restrain her from any movement. Then, with a surge of dark magic, Dark Krysa converter herself into dark power and proceeded to go inside Krysa's body. Krysa & Dark Krysa merged into one body, and exploded in a burst of magic. Nocti was alone. "Aunt Krysa?" Nocti said. "Aunt Krysa? What's going on?" Nocti realized that Krysa, being merged with Dark Krysa was no more. "I... I guess I am alone now. Goodbye Aunt Krysa." Nocti said to herself.

Back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were in the Forest of Darkness. "I... I sense something." Brainchild said. Mumm-Ruzzo sensed that the Mind Gem was working a second time. "Tell me what you think you see." Mumm-Ruzzo said. "I... I can see... two orbs... each of them with orange stars... one with three stars and another with four stars." Mumm-Ruzzo knew for a fact that Brainchild could see the 3-star & the 4-star Dragon Balls through the Mind Gem.

"Where do you see them?" Mumm-Ruzzo asked. "I... I see them in a nest." Brainchild said as he pointed to the upwards. Mumm-Ruzzo followed the direction and found the 3-star & the 4-star Dragon Ball in a nest. "I found them!" Mumm-Ruzzo said. "Now we have 3 more balls to look for. Let's get out of this dismal place." Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo left the Forest of Darkness, so they can continue their search for the Dragon Balls.

Back on Angelus, Nocti was having a very hard time. First her father's friend Panthro passed away, then her aunt Krysa vanished. Worse yet, since Krysa has already been wished back once, she could not be wished back again. "Now how am I going to break the news to Mom?" Nocti said. "Worse yet, how the hell can I get back? I don't know the Cosmic Teleport that well."

Nocti begun chanting the Cosmic Teleport alone. She tried to remember the incantations, but hearing them only once, she fumbled a lot. Unfortunately, the spell backfired and Nocti stumbled into another dimension. "Where... Where am I?" Nocti said as she looked at her surroundings. "This is New Thundera, or Angelus. What is this place?"

Back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were still looking for the remaining three Dragon Balls. "One three more to go." Mumm-Ruzzo said. "Where is our next Dragon Ball?" Brainchild looked at his father's tracker and noticed that it pointed to the southeast. "It says that a Dragon Ball is southeast of here." Brainchild said. "There is a swamp in that area." Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo turned direction and headed southeast.

Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra was sleeping in his casket when the Ancient Spirits of Evil woke him up. "Mumm-Ra!" The Ancient Spirits of Evil bellowed out. Mumm-Ra woke up from his sleep. "What is it, oh Ancient Spirits of Evil?" Mumm-Ra said quietly. "Your son, Mumm-Ruzzo, and his friend Brainchild are searching for New Thundera's Dragon Balls. "Dragon Balls? What in the name of everything evil are Dragon Balls?" Mumm-Ra said.

"Dragon Balls are 7 orange orbs with red stars." The Ancient Spirits of Evil said. "When all 7 orbs are collected, the Eternal Dragon appears and grants the summoner a single wish. After the wish is made, the orbs scatter and remain hidden for one year. At that time, anyone can gather them and summon the dragon again. Use this opportunity to snatch the Dragon Balls and destroy your enemies once and for all!" Mumm-Ra liked the idea.

At that time, Nocti was still wondering where she stumbled to. From her standpoint, she could not recognize the monoliths around her. The skies were a blood red. "Hmmm... It must be either sunrise or sunset, what are these buildings? I've never seen anything like this." Nocti said to herself.

Just then, she could hear the screams of innocent civilians coming from a few yards from where she was. "What could that be?" Nocti thought. Nocti looked onwards and saw a hideous demon slaughtering several innocent humans. "Mother of all that is holy and sacred! What is that thing?" Nocti shouted. As she continued seeing innocent humans being devoured by this monster with eight tentacles, red scaly skin and a single yellow bloodshot eye, Nocti readied her cat o' nine tails. "I cannot let the innocent die." Nocti said.

Meanwhile, back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were in a large swamp. "The tracker says that the next Dragon Ball is directly below us." Brainchild said. "I'll go after this one." Brainchild lowered himself to the surface. As he descended, the Mind Gem on his forehead began to glow. "The muddy waters and algae parted and revealed the 5-star Dragon Ball. Brainchild retrieved the Dragon Ball and flew upward, allowing the swamp waters to return to its normal state. "Well, here is it." Brainchild said to Mumm-Ruzzo. "Now we have two more Dragon Balls left to find."

Back where Nocti was, she was using her weapon on the monster, and achieved minimum success. It bellowed out a red flame, but Nocti blocked the fire. Nocti then struck its yellow eye and temporarily blinded it. She thought the battle would end quickly, but the monster quickly rejuvenated and regained its sight. Nocti was taken completely by surprise. "How did that thing heal so fast?" Nocti said as she struggled from the demon's grip.

Nocti was about to fall victim to the demon, but was later attacked by another creature. It was hit by what appeared to be a lightning bolt. "What was that?" Nocti thought. She looked to her side and saw someone in the shadows. From its forehead, it threw another lightning bolt. This time, it made the demon lose its grip. Nocti took the opportunity to put a safe distance. Then, the creature from the shadows flew down and tore the demon easily to shreds.

"Uhh.. Thank you for saving me." Nocti said. "What is your name?" The creature from the shadows revealed itself. "I think you know of me. I am Devilman." Nocti was shocked. "Devilman?! It has been over a year since I've seen you!" Nocti said. "Funny, it was ten years since I have seen you." Devilman said. "Ten years?" Nocti thought out loud. "Yes. The day Miki was kidnapped a second time by the enemies of your world may have been a year ago to you, but it has been ten years for me." Devilman exclaimed. "Well, I was going to my home world, but my aunt was attacked and killed. I tried to do the Cosmic Teleport alone, but I screwed up and ended up here." Nocti said quickly. "Do you have any idea on how I can get back to my world?"
