"Enlightenment
is like the moon reflected on the water. The moon does
not get wet, nor is the water broken. Although its light is wide and
great, the moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide. The whole
moon and the entire sky are reflected in one dewdrop on the grass."
--Dogen--

While
lone wolves howl to the light of the moon,
And their cries unheard till the break of noon,
A song of its own rises from the sea,
And joins in with mystical harmony.
But now Cancer hears this spiritual ode
And sings along in a lyricless mode,
Alas, for a second, the air overcome
With dissonant laughter touched off by the sun.
Remember, O Cancer, the ocean's roar
Is a voice by itself, and it needs no more.
Cling to thy patience, and only too soon,
You will once again hear the sweet song of the moon.

And so it is that
all is reflected in our eyes.
May it be that each of us would be as a drop of dew upon our Mother... nourishing,
refreshing, glistening, and then,
with the coming of the Father, passing into the skies to play with the winds.

"I am the
Force within. What I am is eternal,
immortal, universal and infinite. What I am has
beauty and strength. This day is my day, and all
that I pull to me is for my highest evolution and growth"
~Stuart Wilde~

For a True
Spiritual Transformation to Flourish,
we must weed out our conditionings to give futile ground for Awakening. Spirituality based
on self-hatred can never sustain itself.
Generosity coming from self-hatred becomes martyrdom.
Morality born of self-hatred becomes rigid suppression.
Love for others without the foundation of love for ourselves
becomes a loss of boundaries, co-dependency,
and a painful and fruitless search for intimacy.
But when we contact, through meditation, our True Nature,
we allow others to also establish theirs.

I am a Moon Child
with my head in the stars.

Bless us, Oh
Goddess of the Moon,
ruler of the tides and the force within us.
Let all who share this planet do so in Peace.
May I dance upon
the Earth with the Grace of the winged ones.
Not harming a blade of grass nor leaving my waste behind.
Knowing the reflection of the Love that I am leaves the deepest impression.
SO MOTE IT BE.
