Japanese advertising

Japanese advertising is my private passion. I find the ads insightful with great visual imagery. Moreover, they are effective. Television advertising in particular is filled with subtlety.

My love of Japanese advertising is what drove me to graduate school. At the University of Tennessee I researched the portrayals of women in Japanese Advertising, with a focus on television commercials. I hope to someday continue this effort by expanding into print ads, and I would like to look at political advertising in particular.
