These pictures are from FUJIMUSUME (Daughter/ Princess of Fuji??) and displays the true beauty of an onnagata. Most courtesans and geishas in the Edo period faithfully followed the fashion of onnagata. Onnagata were famous for being more feminine and beautiful than most women.
