- Why I came to Toronto: When an American college
student, I visited to New York City. I ordered a ticket
to Atlanta, Georgia from New York City by Grayhound bus.
However, our oral communication was not succussful. I
said "Atlanta" and they understood "A
Toronta." So, I got A ticket to Toronto, Ontario.
- Why I immigrated to Canada: I wanted to immigrate
to the U.S. But, Canadian immigration visa was much
easier to get it.
Only thing I knew before immigrating to Canada was that
Toronto were located in the State of Quebec. Was it
wrong?
- Future plan: When I got a Canadian citizenship, I
would apply for the U.S. permanent resident status.
Discard my Japanese citizenship (I can be back to a
Japanese citizen whenever I want).
