Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. Many of the designs here are 'modular', or based on many units repeated over and over. Probably the most prolific of all modular origami is the Senobé unit

       Although the pattern for the Senobé unit is widespread, its applications are not. In fact, all of the Senobé designs on these pages were independently 'discovered' from an understanding of how the basic unit worked.
