Kōsaku Hatanaka is the first pro boxer ever produced by Mukaida's Gym. He is a featherweight, or at least he should be. But Kōsaku has very little self control over his appetite and so has a hard time keeping his proper fighting weight. His couch has begun to lose hope. The only one who still has faith in him is Sister Angela, a novice nun at St. Mary's.
