The Version Number

The version number, located at the bottom of the page, tells you how much a page has been updated. For instance, if the page has a major addition, like switching to frames or adding a subpage, it will go up to the next integer (ie from 5.2 or 5.6 to 6.0). If it only changes slightly, like getting a new background color, the versions number goes up a fraction of a point (ie from 2.4 to 2.5).

All changes made on the same day count as the same upgrade. For example, if you make a major change one morning, then come back that afternoon and change link colors, the version number is still, say, 3.0, and not 3.1.

The date tells you when the last update happened, regardless of how large or small it was. Eventually, these may be linked to a site log, which will tell when each update occured, what was updated, and how much.

The name and email are of the author of the page. This is who you should contact about missing links, suggestions, etc. Note that, although the main page lists Miome, she is not the sole author. She's just the one in charge of correcting links. ^_^

There may also be some disclaimers or copyrights included. These should speak for themselves, but note that, although the signature may not state it explicitly, all Fushigi Yuugi characters are © Watase Yuu, and all of our characters are © their author. In addition, each page is © it's author, and all artwork/graphics likewise.
