Welcome to my page about Paco Paco... ummm, I mean Capt. Tylor. I love this show!!! With a price of $20 for a 75 min. SUBTITLED tape, you can't go wrong. AND!!! So far I have not had to return one for sound damage or video problems!!!!
OVERALL: 9.5
This is a little gem of an anime, I was seriously surprised... it has great characters, animation, and story. Anyone who hasn't given it a look should as soon as possible.
STORY:
It seems our hero has no real ambitions except for taking it easy... he has amazing blind luck which helps him out of very difficult situations and allows him to continue being a indecisive procrastinator. He is a kind natured character, who has great charisma - he can talk his way out of most anything... this show has some pretty funny moments and has a nice twist to your average show. Tylor gets assigned to a junk battleship... where the military sends the rejects. No other captain has lasted until now.
ANIMATION:
Good animation follows through - many T.V. series were falling into a low budget; don't worry, this one has good artwork.
MUSIC:
Really catchy tune in the beginning - nice look to the intro, amazingly the ending credits are very short...
CHARACTERS:
Really good job here, they came up with some really interesting characters... you really want to "know" them... well done.
If you haven't seen it, you owe it to yourself to check this one out!!!
Here is a pic of Azalyn - the new empress of the opposing planet - her father was killed by one of their own to start the war and increase their own rank. She is cool - when Tylor is captured and taken prisoner, she meets up with him (not knowing that he is the enemy), they hit it off and become close. She then turns him into her pet - rather than execution... she names him Paco Paco... ^_^
