Hokuto was a lovely girl, but it is a pity that she had died in place of her brother Subaru in the hands of Seishirou at the end of Tokyo Babylon, an earlier work by CLAMP. Though she was not as mighty in power as her twin brother, she was able to meet Kakyou in one of his dreams. (Romantic, I know...)

Kakyou seemed very sober and painful in these scenes, as these are his recollections about the forever-lost friend. Perhaps he has had been excited and happy when he first met Hokuto. There are simply too few visitors to his lonesome world of dreams. Speaking about pain, which character in X most enjoy watching others to suffer? Ah.... thus begins the story of X15.
