John, Pipian, and Orion were on their floor searching for the missing motor when Pipian thought he heard an elevator moving down the other shaft quickly.

He thought that some people could be in that elevator. He mentally slowed the elevator and stopped it at his floor. He opened the elevator door as Score and Tiki walked out, seconds before Pipian could hold the elevator no more, and it plummeted to the bottom of the shaft.

"What happened to you two?" asked Pipian. "And where's Jamie?"

"Umm..." Score and Tiki said, "Jamie's not on our side right now..."

"What do you mean?"

"Jamie's mind has been taken over by Mewtwo, and with her powers combined with Mewtwo, she is a powerful psychic indeed."

"And what does that have to do with you plummeting down an elevator shaft at nearly 60 mph?"

"You see," explained Score, "Drowsee told us about her plan, and when we got to our floor, she forced me to say 'Ladies, first', giving her time to snap the elevator cable mentally. Thank goodness you saved us."

"It was nothing."

"I note that your psychic power is strong," said Score. "Maybe you and Tiki could use your powers to make a strong psychic shield around us."

"Hmmm... That's a good idea. At least until we fix my psychic-blocker..." said Tiki.

Pipian and Tiki began to tune their psychic wavelengths with one another until they were at their strongest point, during which, they set up a psychic shield, But it was stronger than it could ever be made, but that was explained soon enough.

"Tiki, Pipian, you don't have to hold this psychic shield up anymore..." said a mysterious, yet familiar voice (at least to Pipian).

"MEW!"

"Yes. I will hold this psychic shield around you five until that machine is fixed."
