T.A.C. had continued on their quest to find Tiki when John felt a tap on his shoulder.

"John Laramie? Message for you."

John took the note and read.

JOHN,

JOSH ANDERS DEAD. BLACK FOG RETURNED. COME TO LAVENDER IMMEDIATELY.

MR. FUJI

"Aaaagh!" John cried.

"Who's Josh Anders? And what's this 'Black Fog?'"asked Jamie.

"First of all, Josh was my best friend back in Fuschia. Second, the Black Fog is a high-level haunter who uses his Dream Eater attack to suck the souls of his victims. A year ago, I helped Mr. Fuji and Sabrina take out the creature and banish it to the netherword. But its found a way back and now wants vengeance on us. I have to go."

"We'll go too," said Score.

"Sorry guys, but this is something I have to do myself. Anyways, you have to find Tiki." John took out his teleporter and traded Chaz for a Rapidash. He hopped on, saluted his friends, then dashed off to Lavender. As he slowly disappeared, T.A.C. looked on, worried.

Pipian spoke up first. "Don't worry, John will return."

"I hope you're right, Pip," said Jamie, holding the flowers John had picked for her. "I hope you're right."
