Fiore was a young alien boy then, travelling alone in space. He didn't know where he was born or when he came to be... he had been wandering around as long as he could remember. Fiore got tired and came to Earth to rest. It was a rainy night. Fiore lay face down on the ground and little Mamoru came out of the hospital room with an umbrella.

The two boys became fast friends. Their solitary states bound them together in close friendship, and they comforted each other. Fiore accompanied Mamoru in his hospital room all night and the two boys took refuge in their friendship.

The time came for Fiore to leave. His alien body could not survive very long on Earth. Mamoru was very sad, he was once again being left alone. He handed Fiore a red rose as a remembrance and the two bade each other farewell. Fiore made a promise...
