Sailor Moon episode 51

"Uhh... Sorry, Miss H." Serena apologized. Miss Haruna simply smiled. She said, simply, that she was letting the class have a free period. Serena looked on, and thought that maybe Miss Haruna had a date.

In the school office, the phone rang, and it was for Miss Haruna. She picked up the phone.

"This is she." Patricia said. The person on the other end was Robert, and Miss Haruna was glad he called. She told him that she had reservations, and Robert told her regretfully (Possibly. You never hear his voice) that he couldn't make it. Suddenly, Miss Haruna's face changed from happy to dark and dire. Robert finished and hung up, and Patricia screamed,

"MEN!!"

The class was happy that Miss Haruna had given them a free period. Just then, the door burst open, and in stormed Miss H., and she shouted at the class to sit down. They were seated in a split second, and Miss Haruna began her attack. She told the class to turn to a poem, and meanwhile, Serena was eating. Miss Haruna remembered that Serena had said earlier that she studied hard the previous night, so she was Haruna's first victim. She took away Serena's book, and saw her eating. Detention number one. She then went to her second victim, Anne Granger. Anne was told to read the poem.

"Badla bing, badla bing, zois bot mo."

Miss Haruna exploded.

"And what kind of poetry is that?!"

"That's what they call poetry where I come from." Anne replied. "I don't know what this other stuff is."

"You insolent girl!" Haruna screamed. "Anne, you just got yourself detention number two!"

"Fine." Said the defiant Anne.

During recess, Alan and Anne were standing on the roof of the school together. Alan was worried that talking in their tongue was going to give them away. He said,

"So, you told everybody you were from another planet?"

"No." Replied Anne. "They just think I was being a class clown."

Alan questioned her about talking in their native tongue, and Anne said that she couldn't think. Alan knew it was because her energy was low, and promised some to her by the end of the day. Anne suggested getting some from Miss Haruna.

"She's sure got plenty to burn!"

Alan told Anne to choose a Cardian, and just as she was about to, Serena came up the stairs that led to the roof to retrieve Anne. She told Anne to hurry up.

"Detention? What's that?" Asked Anne as Serena lead her away.

"You don't know? Boy, are you lucky!" Serena replied.

Mina was sitting on the edge of a fountain, waiting for Serena. Raye and Lita came with Luna, and told Mina that her plans to watch a video with Serena were canceled. Lita suggested a movie for the three of them, and Luna thought that a movie about a cat detective would be good. Mina suggested a romantic adventure, and Raye and Lita agreed. Luna and Artemis were stuffed into Mina's duffel bag, and the three were off.

Miss Haruna was giving Serena and Anne the drill: They were to write an essay about why school was important to them. Miss Haruna got a call from "a Robert Someone", and Miss Haruna happily took the call in the office. It was Robert, and he could make it to their date after all. Miss Haruna was overjoyed.

In the class, Serena couldn't believe that Miss Haruna had ditched them. She began to leave, saying that she would finish it in front of the television. Anne interrupted, saying,

"With Darien?"

"No." Serena said. "Why?"

"Serena, we both know Darien walks home from classes at this time each day."

Serena told Anne that if she was spying on Darien, he wasn't going to like it. Anne had a way to resolve their differences about Darien. The first one to finish the essay got to go after Darien, and the loser had to stop going after Darien. Serena agreed, and Serena began to write like she never had in her life.

Alan was on a building, and decided the time to act was now. He chose his Cardian, and called it forth. It was Cardian Insectia. He told Insectia to get the energy of some people. He looked down at the street, and saw Darien. Alan told Insectia to get Darien's energy, and Insectia simply took off. Alan thought that the Cardian was very weird, and meanwhile, the leaves on the Doom Tree began to glow...

In the class, Serena was winning their little "contest", mostly because Anne was low on energy. The current Cardian wasn't contributing to her condition or anything, and Anne's last resort was to take Serena's energy.

Meanwhile, Amy was in computer class, ready to take a test. Just as they were ready to write, Insectia burst into the class, and grabbed two of the students. They were drained, and Insectia left. Amy got her computer, and called on Mina, Lita and Raye. They were at a movie, and had to leave on Scout business. Mina didn't want to leave. It was, after all, the train scene. Mina looked at the actor, and said,

"And he's so hunky!"

Mina moved at Artemis' insistence.

Back at Crossroads Junior High, Anne crept up on Serena. She was about to take Serena's energy, but Serena dropped her eraser, went to pick it up, and Anne fell over Serena's desk. Serena looked at Anne in confusion, and Anne said that she was working out her writing cramps.

Alan confronted Insectia, and told the Cardian that she hadn't gotten Darien yet. Insectia remained defiant, and Alan thought that the Sailor Scouts had gotten to her.

In the class, Anne was making her second attempt at taking Serena's energy. Anne was about to take it, but Serena stretched, sticking her pencil up Anne's nose. Anne screamed in pain, and Serena accused Anne of cheating. Yeah, thought Anne. Only if I want to fail for sure! Serena thought it odd that someone wanted to cheat from her paper.

Miss Haruna was walking with Robert in a park. Out of nowhere came Insectia, and their energy was taken. Alan came to Insectia, and told her to get Darien's energy. Insectia leapt into a pond and began to take the energy of some ducks.

"What's wrong with you, Insectia?" Alan said. "I want that guy!"

"Well," came a voice, "you won't get him!"

"Tough luck! Your plans just went on ice!" It was Sailor Venus.

"Make one false move, and you'll be eating flames pal!" It was Sailor Mars.

"You and that overgrown insect are headed back to where you came from!" It was Sailor Jupiter.

"That's right!" Shouted Sailor Mercury. "The sooner, the better!"

Alan was about to attack the Sailor Scouts, but Insectia bounced off his head, and disappeared. Alan left, and the Sailor Scouts were amazed that Alan had no control over his own Cardian.

It was well into the evening, and Serena was almost done. Anne, who was so drained that writing and Darien didn't matter anymore, told Serena to go for it. Serena did. Anne thought to herself, and Serena thought that Anne needed the nurse. Anne said that she was fine, and told Serena that she was thinking about how great it was to be with her. Serena agreed. Anne thought about how when people were nice to her, she pictured the Doom Tree growing and healthy. She asked Serena why the change of heart. Serena said that since Alan was cool, that it was worth giving Anne a chance too. Anne said that she and her brother were close, and sometimes, it was like they could read each other's minds.

"Do you think friends can do that too?" She asked. Serena replied,

"Sounds pretty weird! Give it a try." She sat down. "Read my mind."

Anne went to Serena, and touched her finger to Serena's throat. However, it wasn't to read her mind. Anne finally got some of Serena's energy. Suddenly, Insectia burst through, and Serena looked out the window. Alan appeared in his alien form, and Anne said,

"Alan!" Suddenly, she realized what she had said in her human form, and gasped. "That Cardian's totally out of control! She won't listen to me!" Alan said to Anne telepathically. Anne responded. "I can fight her. I've just got to get some energy from Serena." They left.

Outside, the Sailor Scouts engaged Insectia.

"MARS FIRE IGNITE!!!"

Insectia dodged the blast, and the Sailor Scouts kept up their attack.

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!!!!"

"VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!!!!"

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!!!!"

All the attacks missed, and Insectia retaliated. Luna, in the meantime, had to find Sailor Moon. Artemis looked up and saw Serena in the school window. Luna went to her.

Serena looked on, too tired to do anything. She had to help her friends, but she had no energy. Luna came, and told her to transform.

"Well, I'm kinda tired Luna." Serena said. Luna told Serena to transform. Serena knew she could nap later.

"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!!!!"

Sailor Moon descended to help the Sailor Scouts. Sailor Mars thought that it was about time, and Sailor Moon said,

"Just thought I'd let you guys have some fun with old Beetle-Brain, Mars!"

Sailor Moon was about to kill Insectia with her scepter, but lowered it.

"Let's call a truce." Sailor Moon said. "I'm too exhausted."

Insectia dashed for Sailor Moon, but never hit her. A small white rose was in the ground. The delivery was courtesy of the Moonlight Knight. He said,

"Sailor Moon, believe you have the power!"

Sailor Moon believed.

"MOON SCEPTER ELIMINATION!!!!"

The blast from the Scepter hit Insectia, and killed her. The Sailor Scouts looked on in victory, and the Moonlight Knight left. Sailor Moon went to finish her essay. Sailor Jupiter said that Serena had fried her brain cells, and Sailor Mars suggested they go out for a burger.

Alan and Anne looked on in defeat. Alan couldn't believe that they were defeated. Anne suggested they fight at the Doom Tree. Then, at least, they would be conserving their energy. Alan thought it was a good idea. They both disappeared. Anne went back to her detention.

In the class, Serena finished, and so did Anne. They called it a tie, so they both could go after Darien. Lita and Amy came in, saying that they were going out for food, and Serena invited Anne out. Anne said that she had to study for a test, and Serena said that she would cram before school. Serena left with Amy and Lita.

"Thanks for the energy, Serena." Anne said to herself sinisterly. The leaves of the Doom Tree began to glow.
