Sailor Moon episode 23

She couldn't stop. Once the school day had begun, she couldn't stop working. Not even after school. Amy was walking home, and was going by a construction site. Suddenly, a young man ran up behind her, and told her to stop.

"Oh, hi Greg!" Amy said.

"What's your hurry?"

Greg was speechless. He had short hair, and blue eyes. He didn't know what to say to Amy. Suddenly, up above, the crew at the construction site lost hold of an iron girder, and it fell to the ground, right in front of Amy.

The next day, all the students of Crossroads Jr. High crowded around a chart, looking at their test scores. Serena looked at hers, and said that she was toast. Her mother was going to kill her. Lita suggested a new and thoughtful idea. They should study for their next test. They saw Amy, and said that they noticed that Amy wasn't in first place. Amy said that she should've studied harder, and Serena though to herself, Does she always have to be such a brainiac? The person who got 100% in every subject was Greg. Amy saw him passing by, and said hello to him. He said hi nervously, and when he ran off, Serena had a suspicion.

On the roof of the school, Greg was looking at a newspaper clipping. In it, Amy had won a large contest. He thought back to it, and he remembered when he was sitting near Amy during a test. He lost his eraser, and Amy told him to calm down. He flashed back when a voice said to him,

"You like Amy!"

It was Serena. Greg said that he didn't like Amy, but he was trying to be as good as her.

"Besides, Amy's way too good for me."

Serena replied,

"If you want to get to know her, better, I've got it bagged. I'm outie!" Serena began to leave, when Greg stopped her.

"Be careful around water today, OK?"

Serena didn't know what to say. Suddenly, a man from a platform just above Serena threw down a bucket of water, and splashed Serena.

That night, Raye and Darien were on a date. Raye asked him what he wanted to do, and all Darien could think about was the Rainbow Crystals. He was getting into deep thought, and Raye snapped him back.

"Where did you fly off to? The moon?" Raye asked.

Darien apologized, and the two went to the mall.

Serena and Greg sat in a restaurant. Serena handed Greg a small envelope, and he opened it. It was a picture of Amy, and she was in the middle of eating a hamburger. Greg was excited.

"I get to keep this?"

Serena nodded, and said, "Now, onto phase 2. When are you going to get together? After school, maybe?"

Greg explained that he couldn't go out with Amy. When he learned that his father was going to transfer there, and he was going to Amy's school, he was excited. Serena said that there was more to Amy than her school books, and left him to pick up the cheque. Greg looked at the picture, and said,

"Why don't I?"

The darkness was her own. Perhaps not powerful enough to rule the region of negative space called the Negaverse, but it was sufficient. Zoicite was standing in her domain, and was looking at the next victim of the Rainbow Crystal carriers. It was young Greg.

Serena and Luna were waiting for Amy. Luna was about to tell Serena about Greg and the Crescent Moon Wand when the door to the school Amy was in opened. Amy came out, and Serena said that she had a surprise for her.

Greg was walking down the street. It was night, and he was stopped, when a woman sitting atop a sign called out to him.

"You're Zoicite, aren't you?" Greg said.

Zoicite jumped down. "My name." She replied, "how do you know it?"

Greg explained that he had the power to see into the future, a power from his childhood. He knew about Zoicite and the Negaverse. Zoicite said that he should then surrender, and Greg said that he'd rather die. He attacked Zoicite. He leapt at her, and she called out a word, and blasted him.

"Zoi!"

Zoicite was about to take the crystal when Serena and Amy saw.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!!"

"MERCURY POWER!!!"

Zoicite continued to take the crystal, and it was about to emerge, when the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Moon, and Sailor Mercury appeared. Sailor Mercury took Greg to a safe place, and Sailor Moon stood her ground against Zoicite. Zoicite just left, and Sailor Moon went to look for Sailor Mercury.

Greg was laying on a bench in a park, and Sailor Mercury was tending to him. He woke up, saying that he had seen the future, and said to Sailor Mercury the one word that she did not want to hear.

"Amy."

Sailor Moon and Luna were looking for Greg and Sailor Mercury. Luna suggested using the Crescent Moon Wand, and Sailor Moon said,

"That would mean that Greg's got one of those Rainbow Crystals."

"Exactly!"

They continued to look.

Back in the park, Greg was having a dream. It was the future. He could see himself turning into a large monster. The monster attacked and finished Sailor Mercury. He woke up, and said to Sailor Mercury that he had seen the future.

"And it isn't pretty, Amy."

Sailor Mercury said,

"What makes you think my name is Amy?"

Greg said that she could have it her way. He said that he knew all about her. He said that when he turned into a monster, she had to promise to destroy him. Sailor Mercury said that she wouldn't, and Greg said that she must. Sailor Mercury said that one must make their own future, and then Zoicite interrupted. Using the powers of the Black Crystal, she extracted the Rainbow Crystal from Greg. Greg transformed into a monster called Bamboo. The great monster stood before Sailor Mercury, and was about to kill her. Sailor Mercury called out to Greg.

"The future is something you build by yourself!"

Bamboo raised its large arm in the air, and rammed the end of it into the ground. Bamboo leapt at Zoicite, and tackled her. Zoicite dropped the crystal, and Sailor Mercury caught it. Zoicite told Bamboo to attack the Sailor Scouts, and used the Black Crystal to strengthen the monster. Sailor Moon appeared, and asked Zoicite since when she needed a kid to fight her battles. Zoicite said that the Bamboo Kid wasn't helpless, and sent him to attack. Sailor Mercury told Sailor Moon to change Greg back, and Sailor Moon used her power.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!"

Nothing happened. Bamboo was too strong. The Sailor Scouts began running, and Bamboo fired blades at a tree in front of them. A branch came crashing down, and the Sailor Scouts had no where to run. Bamboo attacked, and barely missed. He attacked yet again, but this time, he was stopped.

"MARS FIRE IGNITE!!"

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!!!"

The attack was stopped. Sailor Mercury tried to do her best to stop the monster.

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!!"

A fog was created, and Sailor Moon went to finish the job.

"MOON TIARA MAGIC!!"

The tiara stuck itself to Bamboo's head, and severely weakened him. Sailor Moon tried to heal him again.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!!"

Greg was returned. Sailor Mercury ran to him. Zoicite knew she was in trouble.

Little did the Sailor Scouts know, that Tuxedo Mask had been watching. He said to himself that he would leave the Rainbow Crystal with them. For now.

Greg's father had been transferred again. Greg was saying his good-byes, and Amy gave him a small gift. It was a picture of herself, better than the one that Serena had given her.

"I don't have my mouth wide open like Serena!"

Greg got on the train, and it began to leave. Serena said,

"I don't always have my mouth open."

The train left the station, and Amy watched as Greg went away, but only to return again.
