Sailor Moon episode 26

"Crows!" She exclaimed, "I hate crows!"

Just then, from another part of the temple, Raye was alerted to the commotion. She got outside just in time to see Gramps hit the ground. Zoicite retreated, and it was then that they saw the man who was sleeping on the steps. Raye told him that the temple was closed, and the man looked at her. He instantly fell in love, and he bowed before Raye. He said that his name was Chad, and he was a struggling musician. He asked to stay, and he would do anything.

Zoicite was angry that she had lost, but it wasn't over yet. Using the Black Crystal, she was looking at an image of Gramps. He was grasping his chest in exasperation. Zoicite said to the image to give up, because,

"Like it or not, you're one of us!"

The next afternoon, Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Luna were talking about Raye's Grandfather. Serena said that they should take him to the hospital. Raye said,

"He refuses to go."

At that moment, at the temple, Gramps took a flying leap, and grabbed onto some ropes. He was swinging through the trees, and he was wearing a table cloth as a cape. He landed, and told Chad, who was high in a tree, to swing down. Chad said,

"I'm a singer man, not a monkey!"

Gramps said, "Use your fear!", and Chad was on his way.

He jumped from the tree, and grabbed onto the rope. He was on his way, but the rope broke, and Chad fell to earth. He was in a lot of pain, and said,

"Wise master, am I a black belt yet?" Then he fell unconscious.

Meanwhile, Serena, Amy, Raye and Lita arrived at the temple, and saw Chad on the ground. They ran to him, and Gramps was dumping water on Chad's head. Raye said,

"Grandpa, what have you done to him?"

Serena laughed, and said,

"Look Raye! Your Grandpa's turned into a super hero!"

"Those are table cloths!" Raye said.

Gramps dumped more water on Chad, and he woke up. He groaned, but he seemed all right. Raye went to him, and asked how he was.

"Fine, but check my face." He said, "is anything out of place?"

"No, your face is going to be fine." Raye said. She looked at her grandpa, and said, "What are you trying to do? Ruin his career now?"

Grandpa got angry, and said that Chad listened to him, unlike Raye. Then, he began to cry, and said that if he "left", she'd be all alone to run the temple. Chad got up, and made a resolution to finish his training so his master would be happy again. He went to the small bells at the temple which were for wishes and blessings, and rang them. Suddenly, the bell split open, and dumped a ton of water on him. Gramps laughed, and Serena did too. Raye got angry at Serena, and Serena cried. Amy and Lita got mad at Raye, and told her to grow up. They left, and Chad asked to speak with Raye.

In a park, Raye and Chad were talking. Chad said that it was about her grandfather. Raye said that she would understand if he left, and he said that he wanted to stay, and learn more about the temple. He said that he got stage fright, and said that maybe he could get over it.

"Yeah, if you survive his training!" Raye said.

Chad replied, "Oh, he's already taught me a lot about facing my fears. It's just all that flying through the trees stuff's worse than slam-dancing. Think a pit helmet would help?"

"I don't know." Raye said, "flying through trees isn't part of the usual training."

She said that the night that he came, Gramps fell off the roof. She suspected something was wrong with him, and they didn't see two figures hiding behind a tree.

Serena and Luna were watching Raye and Chad from behind a tree. Serene could really see Raye going out with a rock star, so she used the Luna Pen to turn herself into a fortune teller/ Match maker. She was transformed, and she walked up to Raye and Chad. She explained that the tiny sticks she was holding were going to predict the future. She threw them into the air, and did a ritual, and stopped. She said that the sticks, which were crossed in her hands, meant that Chad and Raye would be in love. Raye said,

"This ditz is out of control, let's go Chad." They left, and Raye stopped, and went to Serena.

"How much for the fortune?" Raye said.

"Ten bucks would be nice." The disguised Serena said.

Raye got angry at Serena, and told her to get lost. Raye went away with Chad, and Serena cried.

Serena was in her room, sulking. Luna told her to cheer up, and Serena said that she couldn't. Luna said that it would blow over by the next day, and Serena cried, saying that Raye wouldn't even let her apologize. Luna said that Raye would let her, and would be glad for the help for her grandfather. Luna bit into one of the tasty morsels on the plate in front of her. They were tiny chocolate cakes, and Serena said,

"How can you even think of food right now?"

Luna, with a full mouth, said,

"I must be really upset!"

Serena went over, and tried one. Then, she had an idea. She would bring the cakes to Raye as a peace offering. Luna said that the cakes were for just her and Serena, and Serena reminded Luna that she was always saying that discipline builds character. Serena ran out with the cakes, and headed for Raye's, Luna following.

That night, at Raye's, Chad was training. He swung along the ropes, and yelled,

"Raye! This one's for you!"

Raye thought to herself, can't sing too well, but sure is a cutie! Chad wasn't watching where he was going, and swung into the strong trunk of a tree. He fell to the ground. The crows laughed.

Later that night, Raye was taking a bath, and was talking to the two crows. She said that Gramps was getting too old to stay there, and she would have to ask the sacred fire's guidance.

Meanwhile, Gramps was calling upon the sacred flame. He asked it for strength. When he was sure he was strong enough, he called upon Zoicite. She came, and they dueled. Gramps fired a powerful bolt of energy at Zoicite, and Zoicite countered. The force of the clash made the entire temple grounds shake, and Raye felt it. She felt the essence of the Negaverse. She went to check it out. Meanwhile, Gramps was rolling out of the room, and landed on his feet. Zoicite blasted him, and held him in mid-air with her powers. She used the Black Crystal again, and this time, the Rainbow Crystal came out. As the crystal was flying to Zoicite, a rose flashed, and hit the crystal. The rose planted itself in the ground, and the small blue crystal clinked as it rolled beside the rose. Zoicite looked up, and saw Tuxedo Mask. Tuxedo Mask jumped down, and as he was descending, Gramps began to change. Tuxedo Mask landed, and said,

"Oh no! Not him too!"

Zoicite, in the meantime, took the Rainbow Crystal, and ran. Tuxedo Mask asked if she ever stayed to fight, and Zoicite said,

"Why should I?" She ran, and Tuxedo Mask, after barely dodging a shot from the monster, went after her.

Chad had come out to see what the noise was, and saw the monster. He screamed, "I want my mommy!", and ran. The monster went after him.

Tuxedo Mask was looking for Zoicite. She had disappeared.

"I win again, Tuxedo Mask!" Her voice rang out. "But watch your back! When I return, I'm coming for you!" Zoicite laughed, and then she was gone.

At the temple, Chad opened the door to Raye's room, and saw more of her than he should have. He told her to come and fight a monster. Raye came out, dressed, and saw the monster. They both ran. They ran into a room, and the monster blasted them. Chad flew into the wall, and Raye noticed that he was out cold. Or at least, he appeared to be. He got up in a rush of adrenaline, and went to Raye's defense. He and the monster ran at each other, and Chad was sent flying into the wall. He said to himself,

"I have to work on head-butts!" Then he fell unconscious.

Raye wasn't out yet. She ran to the fire, and asked it to tell her who the monster was. Was it friend, of foe? The problem was, was that it was both. The monster was her grandfather. A voice came from the fire.

"Help me, Grandfather."

Raye tried to get the monster to recognize her, but it ran after her. Raye was outside, and ran, but the monster jumped, and landed right in front of her. The monster attacked, and hit a statue. The monster had Raye pinned, and was about to finish her, when a rock hit the monster in the head. It was Serena, and she had arrived with the cakes. She went to stop the monster.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!"

Sailor Moon appeared. Sailor Moon said,

"I am Sailor Moon, the champion of justice! On behalf of the moon, I will right wrongs and triumph over evil, and that means you!"

Raye said that she was immensely glad that Sailor Moon had arrived, and she tried to get Raye to eat a cake. Luna reminded her of the situation, and Sailor Moon got her tiara ready. Raye said that she couldn't dust the monster, because the monster was Gramps. Luna said,

"He must've carried a Rainbow Crystal! Sailor Moon, if you'd brought you communicator, we could call the other Scouts for help!"

The monster attacked, and the trio ran. Raye told Sailor Moon to get ready to stop. She used her power to stop the monster.

"SCROLL... I CALL UPON THE POWER OF MARS FIREBALLS CHARGE!!"

The monster was immobilized. Sailor Moon healed the monster.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!"

Gramps was returned. Raye cried with joy.

Amy was going to Raye's to apologize, and Lita met up with her. They each agreed that Raye needed them. They went together.

Serena, Raye, Gramps, and Chad were eating. Chad asked Gramps if he would show him that trick. Gramps asked what trick, and Serena said the one where he changes into a monster. Raye said that Serena had promised not to mention that. Raye said to Chad that she had a vision. He went there to get over his stage fright, and he did. She kissed him, and he was ecstatic. Serena said that Raye could go as a backup singer, and Raye told Serena to quit trying to fix her up with Chad. Gramps said that Raye couldn't date until she was sixteen. Serena laughed. Chad said,

"You wanna hear my song?"

Raye and Gramps said,

"Maybe another time!"

Amy and Lita, in the meantime, saw it all, and saw that Serena and Raye had made up. They were never so glad to hear all the arguing.
