Sailor Moon episode 27

A fish bone planted itself in the ground. The cats looked up, to see a huge blue cat. It meowed its deep meow, and all the cats that had surrounded Luna ran away. The small kitten was still chewing Luna's tail, then spit it out. The kitten walked away, and Luna said,

"Guess I didn't need that hair on my tail anyway!" Suddenly, she felt something on her tail.

The large cat was licking the place that the kitten had chewed, and tried to cuddle with her. Luna said that she was thankful, but up close and personal was going a bit too far. Suddenly, she heard a girl's voice, and it was calling for someone named Hercules. The cat went to the voice. Luna followed, and saw a small girl pick up the huge cat. The girl gave Hercules a big hug.

In the Negaverse, Zoicite was watching the entire scene. She saw the girl hugging the cat.

"Hmmm." She said to herself. "Could this girl be the one that holds that seventh Rainbow Crystal? This sweet little girl? How challenging! Like taking candy from a baby!" Zoicite laughed.

In a park, Luna and Amy were waiting for Serena and Lita.

"It must've been awful, Luna!" Amy said in response to Luna's story.

"That's an understatement! Not to be a snob or anything, but grunged out alley-cats are not my cup of tea!"

Lita and Serena arrived. Lita asked where Raye was, and Amy said, nervously, that she was busy. Because it was Saturday, she wanted to go on a date with Darien. Serena was angry at Raye.

In a phone booth somewhere, Raye called Darien.

"Hello, this is Darien." The voice came over the line.

"Oh, hi, Darien?" Raye said.

"I can't come to the phone right now..." It was Darien's answering machine. Raye left a message, but Darien was actually home. He was thinking about the Rainbow Crystal. I must get it! Darien thought to himself.

Lita asked Amy what she was doing. She was using her computer to find the last Rainbow Crystal. Serena said that the Crescent Moon Wand wasn't reacting, and Luna said,

"Duh! That's why we're using the computer to find it before the Negaverse does! Get with the program, Serena!"

Amy alerted Luna, because her computer program had worked. It went through a series of maps of Tokyo, and closed in on a top view of a house. That was where the Rainbow Crystal was, so they went to get it.

Later, they arrived at the house. Serena said,

"So where's the crystal? inside the house?"

"Yes, it should be." was Amy's reply.

Luna, in the meantime, was in Amy's arms, and was looking around, afraid. She looked at the house, and saw Hercules. Lita said,

"Well, let's do it!"

Luna said to go on without her. Serena made a cat face, and told Luna that they needed her, and it was her duty as their feline protector. Luna said,

"I know, but that cat up there's kinda got a crush on me."

Amy said,

"Well, that's all right. Even Luna can be distracted from work."

Serena purred, and said, "Kitty love!"

The girls went without Luna, and Luna was crabby, because Serena called her a scaredy cat. Luna heard a noise behind her, and she was in danger again...

Amy rang the bell to the large house. The girl who owned Hercules answered, cat in arms, and Amy asked for her the girl's mother or father. She said that they were working in the garden. Serena and Lita noticed that the Crescent Moon Wand was reacting. Lita said,

"That little girl must have the Rainbow Crystal!"

The large blue cat was limp in the girl's arms, and suddenly sensed that Luna was in danger. He struggled free of the girl's grip, and ran for her. The girl ran after Hercules, and she saw him disappear into an alley. She went after him, and then, Zoicite appeared. The girl screamed, alerting Serena, Amy, and Lita, and they went to help.

Meanwhile, Luna was attempting to defend herself from the huge army of alley cats. The orange cat that had advanced on her earlier attacked her. Luna remained brave, until the cat unsheathed its claws, and Luna cowered. Just then, Hercules jumped down, grabbed Luna, and leaped up, just in time for the cat to do a face plant in the pavement. Hercules landed on a nearby wall, but he couldn't stay up. Luna was heavy, and he fell, hit a garbage can, and landed on a manhole cover. The cats could only watch as the manhole cover turned over completely, sending Luna and Hercules into the sewer.

Zoicite wasn't done. Such a sweet child, totally unaware of the treasure inside her! she thought. She got out the Black Crystal, and used it on the girl. All she could hope, was that Tuxedo Mask wasn't nearby. The Black Crystal used it's magic on the girl, but no Rainbow Crystal came out. It was then that Zoicite realized that it was the cat in the image that had the Rainbow Crystal. She retrieved her crystal, and then the Sailor Scouts appeared.

"I'm Sailor Mercury, and I order you to leave that girl alone!"

"I'm Sailor Jupiter! Back off, weasel!"

"I'm the one you should be afraid of! I'm Sailor Moon!"

Sailor Moon did her stance for when she says "I will right wrongs and triumph over evil!", and hit Jupiter and Mercury in the face. Zoicite blasted the trio, and Mercury tried to counter. She attempted to attack, but she fell, and her foot ended up in Sailor Moon's face. Sailor Jupiter was blushing, as she had an excellent view of the contents that were supposed to be under Sailor mercury's skirt...

"Bunch of goofs!" Zoicite said. She leapt backwards, and said, "A triple threat with three Sailor Stooges!"

Jupiter was going to attack, but Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury stopped her, for fear of electrocution. Zoicite left.

The crystal led Zoicite to a sewer. She immediately repulsed by the stench, and looked at the Black Crystal. The stench was sewage. She took a step, and fell into the river of sludge. She looked up, and said,

"This had better be worth it, that's all I've gotta say."

Meanwhile, two cats were lying unconscious.

"Where on Earth is Luna?" Lita said. She and Serena and Amy were at the girl's house, and in her room. The girl was sleeping in her bed.

"I can't believe she took off on us like that! And she calls me irresponsible. As if!" Amy said that Luna was never irresponsible.

Serena looked around, and saw that the girl owned the new Sailor V game. Lita and Amy said that Zoicite might come back for the Rainbow Crystal, and Serena played anyway. In the meantime, the Crescent Moon Wand was not reacting.

Zoicite crouched in a tunnel. The Black Crystal told her that she was close to the seventh and last Rainbow Crystal. She noticed that the wall of the small tunnel was warm. The Black Crystal increased the amount of light that it was emanating, and the tunnel was completely covered in rats.

"Rats!" Zoicite said. She screamed. "It's a wall of rats!" She ran out of the tunnel, and shouted, "Rats!".

"Rats!" Raye said, walking down the street. "Here I wasted my entire day looking for stupid Darien. Love sure can be boring sometimes." She heard Chad's voice. He asked if she would go for a burger with him if she wasn't busy. Raye said that Chad was a hunk, but she had to play hard to get. Chad realized that someone as beautiful and popular as Raye would probably be booked solid. Raye said,

"Kinda."

Chad walked away. Raye was disappointed that she let Chad go, but she said that tomorrow was another day.

In the beauty of the sewers, Luna and Hercules were looking for a way out. Luna had to stop and rest, and told Hercules that it was his fault that they were in the sewer. She noticed a small cut on Hercules' leg, and surmised that he must've gotten it from the cats. She wondered why he saved her, and asked him if he liked her. Hercules blushed, and Luna said,

"Stupid question!"

Luna could hear squeaking, and saw Zoicite. She was running, and it soon became apparent what she was running from. behind her was virtually a tidal wave of rats. Zoicite ran to them, and Luna tried to push Hercules into a small opening. She finally did, and Zoicite flew in. Luna was pushing Hercules, and told him to live up to his name. Zoicite was catching up, and even told Luna so, and she was almost there. So were the rats. Zoicite was completely engulfed, and then the rats went after Luna and Hercules.

Outside, Raye was by herself, and called herself a dim bulb for wasting her entire day. She saw Luna with Hercules, and then saw the wave of rats. She went to help the two hapless cats.

Serena was winning at Sailor V. Amy didn't get it. The Crescent Moon Wand should've reacted, and Lita said that the girl wasn't the one. Amy and Lita concluded that it was the cat, and it was then that Serena lost on Sailor V.

Luna and Hercules continued to run, and were flipped over when the rats passed them. The rats rose in the air, and swirled around, revealing the eyes of Zoicite.

"When the cat's away, the rat will play!" She said. "Too bad the queen rat is back!"

Luna was afraid, and a bolt of fire was sent flying to the rats with the words,

"MARS FIREBALLS CHARGE!"

The fire bolt hit the rats, and they ran away. Zoicite asked whomever it was to reveal themselves. It was Sailor Mars.

"I am Sailor Mars, champion of the lovelorn!" She shouted. "And I say, leave those cats alone!"

Luna got up, and said,

"How embarrassing. Mars, stop!"

"The fires of love are burning! The fire of justice is burning! I won't let anyone destroy a person's, no, even a kitty's chance at romance! I will punish you on behalf of the planet Mars!"

Zoicite said that it was pathetic, and proceeded in taking the Rainbow Crystal. Luna said,

"There is a good side to this, Mars will cut the love chant!"

The crystal came out of the large cat, and he transformed as Sailor Mars came down. Zoicite was about to get the monster to attack, when a rose flashed down, and hit Zoicite's hand. She dropped the crystal, and Tuxedo Mask jumped down, and took it. Zoicite ran after him, and told the monster to go after him. The monster was going to get Tuxedo Mask, and Luna stopped him. Luna said that she could help him return to his normal state, and the monster roared. Luna slipped, and the monster caught her, and held her in his hand. Luna reminded him of the little girl, and the times that he saved her. The monster brought Luna close to his face, and suddenly, a successful attack was made.

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!"

Sailor Jupiter came from above, and grabbed Luna from the monsters clutches. Sailor Mars asked for an excuse as to their lateness, and Sailor Mercury said that it wasn't Sailor Moon's fault. Sailor Jupiter said that they waited until Serena finished playing the Sailor V game. Sailor Mercury told Mars to relax, and Sailor Moon healed the large monster.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!!"

Hercules was returned.

At the girl's home, she was glad to have her cat back. Raye said that they'd leave, so Luna could have some quality time with Hercules.

"Yeah, he's your boyfriend, isn't he, Luna?" Lita teased.

Luna said to give her a break. He did save her life, and so maybe Hercules wasn't such a bad name after all.

Later, she was sitting by a tree, and saw an image of her guardian in the sky. The image blushed, and Luna was not surprised.
