The Moon shone brightly that night, as Sailor Moon thanked their new friend, Sailor Venus, for saving them. Venus said that she was excited that she was finally meeting them. She said that they'd be a super team, and they put their hands in a circle. The Sailor Scouts. Artemis cut in.

"Enough with the warm, fuzzy moments. Time to cut to the chase." He said.

"Those guys from the Negaverse aren't fooling around. I'm sure they're already planning to strike back big. you guys gotta be ready." The Sailor Scouts agreed, and Luna scheduled a meeting for the next day, at the temple. Venus said,

"Gotta book it!", and left.

"Boy, she was in a hurry." Sailor Mercury said.

"Yeah, she was like, almost rude!" Was Sailor Mars' reply. Sailor Moon thought she was cool.

The mists of darkness swirled around Zoicite and Malachite, who were before their Queen. He said that they could get the Rainbow Crystals from Tuxedo Mask, and Zoicite asked for another chance. She would get rid of Tuxedo Mask once and for all. Beryl didn't want that.

"I've decided to bring Tuxedo Mask here." She said, "He can be of great value to us."

Zoicite said,

"But we don't know who he is."

"You don't." Beryl replied. "But I do. Now, shut up, and listen closely."

Darien closed the door to his apartment, and leaned against it.

"I can't believe I was so stupid." He said to himself. "Falling for that fake Sailor Moon. Almost got the Scouts toasted, too!"

He recalled the event from hours earlier, where the Sailor Scouts had been trapped in Malachite's dome. If hadn't been for Sailor Venus, the Scouts would be dead, and the Negaverse would have the Rainbow Crystals. He thought that the Sailor Scouts hated him. He went to the couch, and sat. He heard a voice come from somewhere.

"Nice place, Darien."

Darien looked to his television, to see Zoicite on the screen.

"How did you find me?" He asked.

"I told you, Darien, the Negaverse sees everything. You really didn't think you could hide forever, did you, Tuxedo Mask?"

Darien saw no point in hiding his alter-ego.

"What do you want, Zoicite?"

Zoicite proposed a duel. The winner would take all the Rainbow Crystals. Darien didn't believe her. Zoicite said that she was quite serious, and asked Darien, tauntingly, if he was afraid to fight without the help of the Sailor Scouts.

"I'm not afraid of you, or anyone from your world!" Darien replied.

Zoicite told him to meet her at the Starlight Tower at five o' clock the next day. Before Zoicite left, she said,

"You really should have a doctor look at that shoulder. Must be painful." She laughed as her image disappeared.

Serena was late, again, and had detention. She pleaded with Miss Haruna to let her go, and she would finish it the next day. She ran to Raye's, talking to herself.

"A busy girl's got things to do! I can't be on time for everything! Oh, but that Raye's going to be so self-righteous!" She recalled what Raye had said to her.

"If you're one minute late, you're meatloaf!"

Serena saw Darien. She ran up behind him, and raised her hand up in the air.

"Hey, there's a bee on your back!" Serena said, slapping him on the shoulder. Darien said,

"Thanks. I hate bees. Appreciate it, Meatball Head!" Serena told him to stop calling her that, and Darien said he would.

"Hey, I've gotta go. See you later, Serena!" Darien walked away. Serena was shocked that he could be so nice to her. She felt something on her hand, and looked. In the middle of her palm, was a red mark. It was blood. She ran after Darien, to see if he was all right.

Darien had ducked into an alley. He thought to himself that he should have his shoulder looked at. He would need all the strength he could muster in his much anticipated duel with Zoicite. A hand, in the mean time, was coming for him from the shadows, and grabbed onto his shoulder. Darien swung around, ready to hit that person, and it was only Serena. She told him to cool it, and Darien apologized. He asked why she was there, and she said it was because he was hurt.

"And I doubt you got it from karate class, am I right?"

Darien asked why she cared, and she replied,

"Because your Raye's friend." Darien told her to leave him alone, and Serena called to him,

"I got a C+ in First Aid! I can tell!" She ran after Darien.

Darien arrived at the Starlight Tower. He stopped, and everything around him was encased with red light. He noticed that Serena was with him, and told her to leave. She couldn't. The red light turned into a ball of energy, and carried them into the Starlight tower.

At the temple, Raye's first words were,

"She's not a Sailor Scout, she's a Failure Scout!"

Lita and Amy were worried. Luna said that even with detention, she should've been there. Raye asked Amy if she tried the communicator, and she said yes, though all she got was static. A girl arrived. She had long blonde hair, tied with a large red bow. Raye asked who she was, and the cat that was with her said,

"You haven't forgotten a handsome cat like me?" It was Artemis.

"My name is Mina." The girl said. Amy recognized her.

"Sailor Venus! Is that really you? You look different."

"We all do in real life." Mina replied. "I didn't recognize you at first."

Artemis said that if their friend's name was Serena, then she was probably in a lot of trouble. Mina said that the girls looked as if they were waiting for Serena, and she didn't show up, or even call. Mina led them to the Starlight Tower.

Inside the Starlight Tower, Serena and Darien appeared before Zoicite. Serena was unconscious. Zoicite walked up with her Rainbow Crystals. She put them on the floor, and told Darien to do the same, while backing off. He did, and when he backed away, Malachite appeared, and took the Crystals. Darien said that they had double crossed him, and asked Zoicite if she was backing out. Zoicite had no intention of doing that, and Malachite said that someone had to watch the crystals during the duel. Malachite told Zoicite to remember their orders. Darien threw a rose at Malachite, but missed, and hit Zoicite's face. Just then, Serena woke up, and saw Zoicite. She wondered why Darien was arguing with her. Zoicite told Darien to meet her on the roof, and disappeared. Her voice told him to be on the roof in two minutes. Serena thought that they brought them there because of her. Zoicite said,

"Well, Darien, I hope you and your friend are good runners!"

The room began to freeze, and ice formed on the ceiling, like Stalactites. They began to fall, and Darien and Serena ran. The ground started to crumble, and they ran to the elevator. Serena relaxed a bit, and Darien said that it wasn't over. The elevator looked different. Darien promised to protect her.

Outside, the Sailor Scouts arrived. Mercury scanned the building, and saw Serena and Darien trapped in an elevator. She looked for a way in, but everything was sealed. Jupiter had the key.

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!!"

The door blew up, and Jupiter said,

"Nothing like the direct approach. Ha." The Sailor Scouts ran in.

On the roof, Malachite asked Zoicite if she was ready. She had never been more ready in all her life.

"He's going to pay for cutting my face!" She said.

"Revenge can be sweet." Malachite replied. "Just don't get carried away."

Serena was going crazy in the elevator. She said that it was like slow torture. She asked why he was after the Rainbow Crystals, and suddenly realized that she was being nosy. Darien didn't mind, and said that he wanted to find out who he was. He wasn't even sure his name was Darien. He told her of his past. His parents died in a car crash when he was very young. When taken to the hospital, he had no memory whatsoever. He had thought the name Darien, and took it as his name. He lived in a foster home until he could get a job. Then, he kept having a dream about a Princess, who was telling him to bring her something called the Imperium Silver Crystal.

"Anyway, thanks for listening Meatball Head!"

"Don't start!" Serena said. "Remember, you said you weren't going to call me that anymore?"

Darien remembered.

"Anyway, I'm glad you told me. It must be hard not knowing who you are."

"I get clues." Darien said. He looked out to the city. Serena thought that he could be Tuxedo Mask, but shouted down the idea.

Malachite overlooked the city. Soon, the Universe will be no more! He thought. Only the Negaverse will prevail! Using his magic, Malachite shut off all the power to the city. Meanwhile, the Sailor Scouts were rushing up the stairs, to save Serena and Darien. Outside the tower, It began to change, as the powers of darkness flooded the rooms. The Sailor Scouts tried to go on, but had to wait until the tower was finished.

The elevator came to a stop. Serena grew afraid, unaware that, at the top of the elevator shaft, Zoicite stood. She didn't care what Beryl wanted anymore. She created a ball of fire, and sent it down the elevator. Darien and Serena saw it, and Serena looked up at it. She could transform, but Darien would figure out who she was. There was no choice. It was die, or stop the Negaverse. She chose the latter, just so Raye wouldn't get on her case.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!!"

Darien was shocked. Serena was Sailor Moon? Serena was Sailor Moon. Meanwhile, Zoicite heard the explosion of the elevator shaft.

"Such a pity." She said to herself. Suddenly, a voice came out from behind her.

"Who's there?" She asked.

Sailor Moon appeared, and said,

"It takes more than a measly fireball to defeat Sailor Moon, you slime-miester! You should know that after all this time!"

Zoicite laughed, and said,

"How ironic! It isn't you I want, but your pal Tuxedo Mask!"

Sailor Moon said that he wasn't even there. From behind her, Darien said,

"Yes I am! I am Tuxedo Mask!"

"You are?" Sailor Moon asked. Darien drew out a rose. He is Tuxedo Mask, I don't believe it! She thought. Darien held a rose in the air, and transformed. Darien was Tuxedo Mask. Cranky old Darien, my dream hunk? This is going to take some adjusting to! She thought. Tuxedo Mask told Sailor Moon to leave. The fight didn't concern her. Sailor Moon said it did, and said that they should team up. Tuxedo Mask said that he had to get the crystals, and Sailor Moon knew why. Zoicite asked Darien if he was still interested in fighting for the crystals, and he was. He told Zoicite to let Sailor Moon go. Sailor Moon watched. Behind her, a small crystal of ice emerged from the floor, and Zoicite aimed it. She fired, and Sailor Moon sensed it. It was heading for Tuxedo Mask. It hit him in the back, and he fell. Sailor Moon ran to him (BGM is "My Only Love"). Tuxedo Mask said that it was up to her to get the crystals.

"I want you to remember that I'm on your side, and I always will be." Tuxedo Mask appeared to be dying, and Sailor Moon pleaded with him not to go. Then, the Sailor Scouts arrived. Sailor Venus saw Tuxedo Mask, and he looked hurt. Sailor Moon pleaded with him not to go, and she shed a tear. It began to glow, and it called to the items that could heal him. Meanwhile, in the Negaverse, Malachite was watching over the Rainbow Crystals. The Seven Shadows that had made them, brought them to Sailor Moon. In the tower, they began to meld together, and at long last, the search for the key to the universe was over. The seven Rainbow Crystals: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet, all came together to form the Imperium Silver Crystal. The Crystal merged itself with the Moon Crescent Wand, and Sailor Moon got up. She was bathed in the power of the crystal, and her uniform was gone. In the place of Sailor Moon, was the treasure that they had sought for so long. The person now standing in the place of Sailor Moon, was the Princess of the Moon Kingdom.
