Sailor Moon episode 31

Episode title: A Reluctant Princess

"Wow! Sailor Moon !" Luna said. The Crescent Moon on the head of Luna glowed. "You're the Moon Princess from so long ago. Right in front of me, and I didn't even know it!"

"Who would've thought that Serena of all people would be the Moon Princess? It's a total blow-away!" Jupiter said.

The Moon Princess kneeled over her dying love. Zoicite, in the meantime, still wanted the Imperium Silver Crystal. She blasted the Moon Princess, but it was shrugged off. The Princess picked up the Crescent Moon Wand, and shouted a mighty cry to strike down Zoicite.

"COSMIC MOON POWER!!!"

Zoicite was hit by a force of magic, and was sent flying into a wall. The Moon Princess tended to Tuxedo Mask. She could sense his body weakening. She pleaded with him not to go, and Tuxedo Mask opened his eyes.

"You're finally free." He said, "Your free, and now I remember everything. It's all so clear. I'm Prince Darien."

The Moon Princess looked at her dying love, and said,

"I am remembering now too. I am Princess Serena, of the Moon Kingdom, and you were a prince from Earth." She described their past, as it was so many years ago.

"One day, we were to marry." Prince Darien and Princess Serena once stood on a balcony in the Moon Kingdom.

"I can picture the last time we were together." The Princess continued, "I gave you my star locket, so you would always remember me."

Princess Serena gave her love a small star-shaped locket, and it played beautiful music.

"It was right before the last battle with the Negaverse." She said, "You were going to defend our kingdom from the Dark Forces. It was the last time I saw you." They came back from the flashback they had shared.

"You did come back, and you set me free, like in our dream." The Princess finished. With the Moon Princess' memories back, the universe could exist longer. The Moon Princess reverted to Sailor Moon, and she fell unconscious. The Sailor Scouts ran to her, and Sailor Venus took her pulse.

"Just a fainting spell." She said.

"How Princess like!" Sailor Mercury said, glad that her friend was all right. Artemis said that all the memories coming back must've "overloaded her royal circuits". Sailor Mars went to Darien, and tried to wake him up, and Jupiter said that they needed to get him to a doctor. They heard a weak, raspy voice tell them that no-one was going anywhere. It was Zoicite. She got up very slowly, and tried to walk. Malachite appeared, and caught Zoicite, as she fell. Zoicite asked for help.

"They'll find the exit, and take the Imperium Silver Crystal with them."

Malachite said that the Sailor Scouts wouldn't find the exit, and said they were after something else. The Sailor Scouts jumped to defense, and Malachite blasted them with wind. It distracted them long enough, so that Malachite could take Darien to the Negaverse. He and Zoicite disappeared.

In the Negaverse, Queen Beryl was royally mad. The Moon Princess had been revealed, and what's worse, she had the Imperium Silver Crystal.

"So what are you going to do about it, Malachite?" Beryl asked her servant.

Malachite simply said that they would get the Crystal back, and said that he doubted that Sailor Moon could pull off being the Moon Princess. Beryl was going to give Malachite another chance. Zoicite was a whole other matter in itself. She asked Zoicite to explain her behavior regarding Tuxedo Mask, and Zoicite said it was an accident. Beryl blasted Zoicite, and she told Malachite to take a lesson from Zoicite.

Beryl was humbled before the great Negaforce. She asked it if they had enough power to turn Tuxedo Mask to their side, and they did. But she would have to go slowly, and erase all the memories that he had gained with the Princess. The Negaforce told Beryl to give it the energy.

Malachite stood over Zoicite. He knelt down to see her face.

"Zoicite, I'm so sorry. It's not fair. Beryl should've punished me for not teaching you to be more patient. I'm so sorry I failed you."

Zoicite looked up into her love's eyes. They were beautiful, now that it was the last time she would see them. Malachite held Zoicite close.

"The only one who failed was me, Malachite." She said. "You told me not to seek revenge, but I wouldn't listen. Promise, just promise me one last thing, Malachite."

"Anything."

"Don't forget me."

The flower pedals that had been Zoicite's signature for so long, fell to the floor. Malachite stood over his dead love, and would never forget her. It was a promise. The last flower pedal that signified Zoicite's existence fell to the floor.

In the tower, Mercury was trying to get readings, but couldn't. The tower seemed to be a mixture of time and negative space. She began to make a program that would tell them where to go, so they could get out. She wasn't sure that her computer had enough memory.

"And if there isn't, we'll have to guess." Jupiter said, while holding an unconscious Sailor Moon on her back..

"But we could be stuck here for days." Luna replied.

"Either way," Jupiter continued, "I'm gonna need some help here. She may be a Princess, but she isn't light."

"I heard that." Sailor Moon said.

The Sailor Scouts went to her, and asked if she was all right. Sailor Moon immediately looked for Tuxedo Mask. She asked if they had abandoned him, and Mars said that the Negaverse took him.

"Was he all right?" Sailor Moon asked.

"I don't know. Seems like he was hurt pretty badly." Mars replied.

Sailor Moon remembered. Artemis and Luna were getting their memories back, unlike the Sailor Scouts, and Sailor Jupiter asked if they were part of the Moon Kingdom. Venus said that they had to be, and Artemis said she was right. He and Luna told them about their past with the Moon Kingdom.

Artemis began.

"A long time ago, we all lived in a beautiful place called the Moon Kingdom."

"It was a peace loving time for all the planets, known as the Silver Millennium." Luna continued. Artemis took over again.

"Princess Serena lived in the royal palace."

"Her mother, Queen Serenity, was a fair and gentle ruler, who was raising her daughter to follow in her footsteps."

Artemis stepped back in.

"But then, the peace was shattered, when Queen Beryl found a way to break out of her Negaverse, and into our universe. She attacked the Moon Kingdom with a vengeance. Queen Serenity defeated Beryl's strongest warriors (The Seven Shadows), then locked them inside the Imperium Silver Crystal, and sent them to Earth."

"The Moon Kingdom was forever destroyed." Luna said. "Her power broken, Queen Serenity used the last of her strength to send Princess Serenity (!!!!) and her court, to a new future on Earth. You girls were all Princess' of your respective planets, and part of Serena's court."

Then, Artemis and Luna made sure that they'd be able to activate the Sailor Scouts. Jupiter asked why they didn't recall, and Sailor Venus said that Serenity wanted them to be happy, so she sent them to a new time, hoping it would be peaceful there.

"But, if the Negaverse did show up again, Queen Serenity made sure that we'd be able to activate the Sailor Scouts, to fight off any evil threats by Queen Beryl."

Artemis said that now that they had the Imperium Silver Crystal, Beryl didn't stand a chance.

"So basically what you guys are saying, is that our battle with them's just begun." Mercury said.

Artemis said that Mercury was right. However, the Negaverse had Darien, so their work was cut out for them. They didn't the same thing that happened to the Moon Kingdom to happen to the Earth.

"We've got to stand up to them, so we have a future."

Mars agreed, and so did Jupiter. Sailor Moon didn't however. Luna reminded her that she was the Moon Princess, but Sailor Moon didn't care. Someone else could do it.

"Come on, Sailor Moon! It's your destiny! You're the one." Venus said.

"I am not Venus! I can barely handle being Sailor Moon, now I'm the Moon Princess too? I can't do this, I'm telling you."

Luna said that Serena just needed to let it all sink in, and Serena didn't want it to. She yelled at everyone,

"I just want to be a normal teenager! Can any of you understand that? My name is Serena! Not Sailor Moon, Moon Princess, not Moon anything!"

She sunk into grief. Darien was gone. She wanted Mercury to get them out, and Sailor Mars walked up to Sailor Moon, and slapped her in the face.

"Sailor Moon," she said, "even though you're a crybaby, and an irresponsible whiner..."

"Go away, Mars, I don't need this right now!" Sailor Moon shouted back. "I know you hate me! You've always hated me!"

Sailor Mars, crying, said that it wasn't true.

"Gotta say, I never thought you were much of a leader." She said, "But, I know I was wrong. Especially after seeing the way you handled that Crystal."

Artemis agreed. Mercury said to leave Serena to be for a while. In the meantime, she had found the way out. Luna suggested getting some burgers, and it was then that Malachite appeared.

"Sorry, dinner plans just got canceled! I want that Imperium Silver Crystal!" He said.

The Sailor Scouts jumped to Sailor Moon's defense. Luna and Artemis hid at Mars' order. Venus and Jupiter went first. Jupiter attacked.

"JUPITER THUNDER CRASH!!"

The force of lightning was absorbed by Malachite. Venus attacked.

"VENUS CRESCENT BEAM SMASH!!!"

The Crescent Beam was absorbed. Malachite blasted the Sailor Scouts. He then blasted Jupiter and Venus, and held them in a painful field of electricity, until they finally fell. Malachite promptly asked for the Crystal, and Mars told Mercury to get Sailor Moon out. Sailor Mars attacked.

"MARS FIRE IGNITE!!"

The fires of Mars were absorbed by Malachite. He then blasted Sailor Mars, and she fell unconscious. Malachite looked at the remaining Sailors.

"Step aside, Mercury, it's not you I'm after!" He said.

"Go bleach your roots, creep!" Sailor Mercury replied. Malachite blasted them, knocking them down. Mercury fell unconscious, saying that Malachite was too strong.

"Then I'm history." Sailor Moon said.

The Sailor Scouts spoke to Sailor Moon in their thoughts, and told her that she could beat Malachite. Then, Sailor Moon saw Tuxedo Mask. He was alive. He told her he was on her side. Sailor Moon got up with a new energy, and said to Malachite,

"All right, you pasty-faced, two timing Nega-twit! You're history!"

Malachite attacked with a vengeance for Zoicite. Sailor Moon withstood the blast for a second, and released her power again, for all to hear.

"COSMIC MOON POWER!!"

Sailor Moon's power was much greater than Malachite's, and he retreated. The Starlight Tower returned to normal, after so long.

In the Negaverse, Malachite appeared in his private chambers, thinking that Queen Beryl wouldn't be too fond of his failure.

In a special chamber fashioned for Darien, Beryl watched over him, as he was slowly being converted to the dark forces. He was stubborn, however. As soon as he was hers, his first assignment would be to get the Imperium Silver Crystal.

Morning came as Sailor Moon looked out on the ocean. Sailor Venus, and the rest of the Sailor Scouts asked if she was all right. She said that she would be fine. They told her that they were behind her all the way. Sailor Moon pleaded to Tuxedo Mask, wherever he was.
