Sailor Moon episode 32

The next day, at Crossroads Junior High, Molly and some of Serena's friends were looking at an ad for a place called the Slick Chicks Beauty Salon. Some of the girls were going right after school, and Molly was angry, because she had to baby-sit. Molly asked Serena if she was going to go, and Serena didn't answer.

"Hello? Earth to Serena, come in, Serena! She's so spacy." She noticed something was wrong with her friend. "I mean, way worse than normal."

At Cherry Hill Temple, the girls were sitting. The only one who wasn't there was Serena. Luna said that they'd have to be patient with her, because she was taking Tuxedo Mask's disappearance very hard. Lita noticed that she had stopped eating, and Luna said that Serena could hardly function. She recalled the times when Serena walked into a tree, tripped on the sidewalk and didn't care, and was hit in the face by a volleyball, and wasn't phased.

"What a wimp!" Artemis said. "What kind of Princess goes into Hyperspace just when we need her the most?"

Raye was the first to jump to Serena's defense. She said to Artemis that someone important in Serena's life was suddenly gone. Lita said that Raye never stood up for Serena, and Raye said that she had. She reminded them of the Starlight Tower, when she said,

"Gotta say, I never thought you were much of a leader. But, I know I was wrong."

Artemis said to Luna,

"You're just going to have to talk some sense into her."

"She's not a toaster you take in to get fixed," Luna said. She said that maybe one of the girls could figure out a way to cheer her up.

"Times like this, some people like to be left alone. But Serena's not one of them." Mina said.

Mina had an idea. She headed for Serena's.

The locket played the melody it had always played. It played the same notes, on the same scale, in the same key. Yet, to Serena, the tune had a great sadness in it. She was sitting on the floor in her room, looking into a mirror. She imagined Darien saying to her,

"Don't make that face, Meatball Head, it might stay that way."

She looked on the floor, and there was the ad for the beauty salon. She considered changing her hair. Mina came in, and had an idea to distract Serena for a little while. Mina sat Serena down, and undid her hair. Serena's hair fell to the floor gingerly, and Mina began to brush it. They considered many different styles for Serena, all of which made her look pretty, and Serena picked up the ad again, and thought that maybe she should change her hair.

Malachite was watching over Darien, as the powers of the Negaforce were slowly changing him to evil. Beryl appeared, and said that she wanted to test out Tuxedo Mask when his transformation was complete. Malachite said it would be done, and Beryl reminded him of his failure. Malachite had a plan.

"This is a piece of her hair that she left behind in the last fight." he said, "We'll analyze it, and try to find the girl who matches it." Beryl was happy with the plan, and told Malachite to proceed.

At the Slick Chicks Beauty Salon, Mina and Serena went in, and a woman greeted them. Mina said to the clerk,

"My friend would like a total make-over, head to foot."

The woman obliged, and placed Serena's hair in a sink. Serena's face was covered with a rag, and the woman suggested short, red hair.

"Me, a red-head?!" Serena said.

Mina thought, This is great! It's exactly what Serena needs right now. Total distraction.

Meanwhile, a young lady was put into one of the hair steamers, and waited. These were no ordinary steamers. They were equipped with computers that could analyze hair, and find DNA matches. The woman was scanned, to see if her hair matched Sailor Moon's. It didn't. Mina was reading, and a clerk apologized to her for making her wait. Mina said that she was just waiting. The woman talked her into taking the hair steamer treatment. Mina undid the bow in her hair, and waited in the machine. The computers activated, and Mina was scanned, to see if her hair matched Sailor Moon's. It did. The clerk that was tending to Serena began to rub too hard on her. The clerk left Serena, and went right to Mina. The water was getting too hot for Serena. The lady grabbed Mina, alerting Serena. The lady was shaking her, and telling her to transform. The other clerks began to spray gas into the salon. The lady said,

"I know you're Sailor Moon, now give me that Crystal!" Serena, in the meantime, was going to hide. Mina asked what the lady was talking about, and the lady told her not to play dumb. She had analyzed the hair, and it matched Sailor Moon's. Mina thought that she must've gotten some of Serena's hair on her. It was either that, or else the Negaverse had gotten some of Mina's hair. All the clerks had formed a circle, and the lady backed into it. They all formed a large monster. Serena was hiding, and saw the monster.

"MOON PRISM POWER!!"

Sailor Moon appeared, and the monster was baffled. How could Sailor Moon and her alter-ego be in the same room? No matter. The monster put a blow dryer on her arm, and fired at Sailor Moon. Sailor dove, and hit behind a small shelf that had potted plants. The monster attacked again, and burnt all the plants and flowers. Sailor Moon was terrified. The monster attacked from above, and missed. Then, the monster shot scissors at her like a machine gun, and Sailor Moon rolled out of the way, until she hit a small make up cart. The monster was getting ready, and Sailor Moon threw a small make up container at the monster. It exploded in the monster's face. Sailor Moon was ready to finish off the monster.

"MOON HEALING..."

Sailor Moon was stopped, when something hit her arm, causing her to drop the Crescent Moon Wand. She picked the wand up, and looked to the floor. In it, was a dark red rose. She remembered to whom it belonged. She looked behind her, and saw none other than Tuxedo Mask. She was glad he was back, and began to get teary-eyed.

"Hey, don't go getting your hopes up." He said. He stated that he was after the Imperium Silver Crystal, and Sailor Moon asked why. Tuxedo Mask said not to asked questions, and in the meantime, the monster was regrouping. The monster had a large razor instrument on her hand, and attacked, but missed. Sailor Moon was sad, but she had no time to cry. She ran out of the salon, pursued by the monster and Tuxedo Mask. Mina, in the meantime, was weak, but had to help.

"VENUS POWER!!!!"

The monster attacked again, but missed, and downed a telephone pole. She attacked again, and missed, but this time, Sailor Moon tripped. The monster was about to strike the final blow, when the Sailor Scouts appeared. The Sailor Scouts went to the offensive.

"MARS FIRE..."

"JUPITER THUNDER...."

"...IGNITE!"

"...CRASH!"

The powers of Jupiter and Mars combined, and hit the monster, smashing the razor. Mercury immobilized the monster.

"MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!!"

Sailor Moon used the distraction to her advantage.

"MOON HEALING ACTIVATION!!"

The monster was returned. Sailor Mars began to walk up to Tuxedo Mask.

"You're with us?" She asked. Venus told her, and the other Sailor Scouts, that he had been brainwashed by the Negaverse. He was Beryl's man now. Tuxedo Mask said that Venus was right. He was ready to fight the Sailor Scouts for the Imperium Silver Crystal, but was called back by Beryl telepathically. He left, saying that they were lucky.

Prince Darien consulted with the Negaforce. He asked why he wasn't sent as Prince Darien, and the Negaforce said that the Sailor Scouts were thrown off their guard when they saw Tuxedo Mask. Meanwhile, Beryl wanted Malachite to step up Darien's training. When she ruled the universe, Darien was going to stand by her side.

At the beauty salon, Serena saw that everything was normal.

"I'm starved. How about we go pig out on double cheeseburgers, fries, and triple hot fudge sundaes!" She said.

Artemis laughed. Everything seemed normal with Serena. Had she gotten over Tuxedo Mask?

"No way!" Serena said, "but I have a super-cool plan to bring him back! We'll de-brainwash him!"

"This from someone who can barely program a VCR!" Luna said. Lita asked Raye if she was all right, and Raye was going to be fine. Serena wanted to tell Darien off for all the things he did.

"But in the meantime, guys, how about those hamburgers and French-fries?"
