Sailor Moon Episode 134Episode title: Double Trouble Original American Airdate: 10/13/2000 Original Canadian Airdate: Poor Darien. Caught between a rock and a hard place. Or rather, a Rini and a Serena place. Both wanted his time that day. As they argued, two forms walked down the street on the other side of the road. Serena and Rini stopped, and looked across the street. There was Mina, walking down the sidewalk with a rather handsome man. "I didn't know she had a boyfriend." Serena said. "I've got to tell the others about this!" Serena had met Raye, Amy, Lita and the cats at the restaurant, and told them about Mina. "It's not fair she gets to have a boyfriend." Raye said. "At least, not before me." Luna looked at Raye. "I think it's normal that she's found a guy to have as a boyfriend." She said. Lita and Raye blew angry bubbles into their drinks. "I guess that means we're abnormal!" They both said angrily. "That's not what Luna meant, you guys!" Amy said, trying to cool the situation. "Not at all." Added Luna. Artemis sighed. Rini asked what was wrong. "Well, you know that guy you saw Mina with today?" Artemis said. "Do you guys remember what he looked like at all?" "Uh, let's see now." Rini said. "He was tall, and looked like he was nice, and umm..." "Didn't he look like a rebel without a haircut to you?" Diana asked. Serena replied, "No, he didn't. For that matter, he looked studious and friendly to me." Serena looked out the window and saw Mina. In an instant, she was pressed up against the glass as the others looked to see. They saw Mina get off a motorcycle with a guy. He took off his glasses, and revealed his face. Serena saw that it wasn't the same guy that they saw before. Artemis sighed heavily. Mina walked into the restaurant, and walked to the table, with the girls all looking at her strangely. Rini asked who the guy was. "Oh, you mean Jack Torajima." Mina said, sitting down. "He's a roadie for a new rock band! We met while buying new CD's, then he asked me out. I think it's just a crime having this much beauty!" The girls' face dropped at Mina's so-called humility. Serena asked Mina who the other guy was. Mina told her that the other man was Charlie Takano, and he was an artist. He needed a model, so Mina was it. "Having this much beauty really is a crime." She said. "Riddle me this." Raye said through clenched teeth. "Why are you seeing two guys at once?" "Well, Charlie has such a great sense of humor, and he's so cute, and Jack's a tough guy who's just a teddy bear underneath! They're both different, and this way, I get to have different fun!" Mina replied giddily. The girls just sighed. Diana asked Serena about what was happening, and Serena said that it wasn't fair to either guy. Mina just laughed. "When it rains, it snores!" Meanwhile, Hawk's Eye was sitting at the bar in the void of the Amazon Trio. He was still dressed up as Charlie Takano. Tiger's Eye walked in, still disguised as Jack Torajima. They got out of their disguises, and asked how the other was doing. They both found it fun with Mina, and the subject got to Hawk's Eye acting like a sore loser because he hadn't seen Mina's dreams yet. The two were about to fight, when Fish Eye walked in. "That's enough!" She said. The two men stopped and looked at Fish Eye. "Please, you shouldn't fight over me like this! Oh, please!" "Huh?!" "I said, you shouldn't fight over me like this!" Fish Eye said, grabbing Hawk's Eye's shirt. "Get a life!" Tiger's Eye snapped. "We're not fighting over you! You're such a joke!" Fish Eye drew away from Hawk's Eye. "You're not?" Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye set out to prove that they were the best. The loser of the game had to leave the Amazon Trio. The winner would have seen her dreams and proven himself the best. That night, Mina was trying on clothes for her upcoming date. Artemis was stuck on wondering who the new enemy was, and what Pegasus was all about. Mina, showing complete disregard, asked Artemis what he thought of a particular outfit. Artemis sighed. "It doesn't matter what I think." He got off of Mina's bed, and started heading out the door. "Artemis." "Hmm?" "Don't worry, buddy." Mina said. "I here what you've been saying." "Mina?" Artemis said blushing. "I'm Mina, and so, as the Goddess of Love, I shall win hearts and be truly happy!" She exclaimed. She laughed hysterically. Artemis sighed again. "I guess she doesn't know." He said to himself. Meanwhile, Rini was in her room talking to Pegasus. To her, adults were a mystery. She asked Pegasus if he thought it was possible for someone to love two guys. "No, I don't." Pegasus said. Rini looked at him. "I guess the only one you marry should be the one you love, but how will you know who the right one will be?" She wondered. "What if there are lots of guys you like? How do you choose then, Pegasus?" "You need to meet and experience many to know which will be your destiny." Pegasus replied. "That's not much help." Rini said. She fell back onto her bed. "Growing up sure is confusing." The next day, Mina glanced at her watch as she walked to the meeting place of her date. Artemis followed her quietly. When she arrived, she saw Charlie standing by a statue. She called out to him, but gasped and hid behind a corner. She had forgotten that she also had a date with Jack, and the two dates were at the same time. Artemis just looked on from across the street. "Artemis!" A voice said behind him. It was Rini. "I knew you were worried about Mina!" She said with a sly grin. Luna appeared behind Rini, telling him it was okay to be worried. From a nearby alley, the rest of the girls and Diana appeared. Mina snuck into the park area, and hid behind a tree. Artemis asked why everyone was there, and Diana replied that if she came along, she was promised a funny show. Serena yanked Diana out of the bush everyone was spying through, and the girls said they were worried about Mina. Diana was left dangling behind Serena. Mina, in the meantime, began to formulate a plan. Since she was there to date two guys, two guys she would date. She ran up to Jack/Tiger's Eye first, and pretended to be tired from running. He asked to go out for ice cream, and she asked for a drink instead. After she had sent Jack away for the moment, she went to Charlie/Hawk's Eye, and apologized for her lateness. She asked him to a movie, and without a second wasted, she dragged Hawk's Eye to the movie, running. Once at the movie, during the previews, Hawk's Eye and Mina arrived. Hawk's Eye hated the dark theatre, which made it impossible for him to see. As Mina and him walked to find a seat, Mina ducked out of sight, and replaced her hand with a rather old looking one. The hand held Hawk's Eye's hand, and Hawk's Eye knew that Tiger's Eye didn't have a chance. Mina ducked out of the theatre, and dashed down the street to meet Tiger's Eye at the statue where they had first met. He handed her a drink, with Mina giving the excuse that she was away in the ladies room. "There's a lot of running back and forth in this show, isn't there?" Diana said aloud. "I wonder how long she'll play this game." Serena wondered. "The jig will be up very soon." Artemis said, who almost seemed to be waiting for Mina's lie to blow up in her face. The girls were impressed at how well Mina could, well... two time. Meanwhile, Hawk's Eye was watching the movie, and decided to make his move on Mina. He turned to talk to her, but it wasn't Mina at all. It was an old woman. Hawk's Eye shrieked. "NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Mina was still walking with Tiger's Eye. She glanced at her watch and gasped. Tiger's Eye asked what was wrong. Mina said she had to make a call and asked him to wait for her. She dashed towards the theatre, where Hawk's Eye was trying to recover from his traumatic experience. Mina called out to him, and he asked her where she had been. "Well, I've been with you, silly!" Mina said. "Why do you ask, anyway?" Hawk's Eye looked unconvinced. "Are you sure?" "Anyway, do you mind if I slip off to the ladies room for a second?" Mina asked. With that, Mina began her marathon, running between Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye. Finally, between runnings, she collapsed. She looked behind her and saw all the girls and cats. "It's not right to lie to people and play with their hearts." Rini said. "Hearts are fragile." Mina looked at the ground in shame. "You've got to come clean and just tell them the truth." Serena said. "You're right." Mina said. "I'll tell them right away." "Good for you, Mina." The girls all said. Mina quoted enthusiastically, "I think the saying for this is, 'I'm caught between a rock and a lard face'!." "Mina, you haven't got it quite right." Amy said. "It goes..." Mina interrupted. "Don't worry!" She said. "I'm a big girl now, I'll handle this myself! Mina's on the case!" With that, Mina ran down the street, and the girls watched her go, hoping things would work out. "What do you think you're doing here, Hawk's Eye?" Tiger's Eye asked. He and Hawk's Eye seemed to be on the verge of a face-off. "I was just about to ask you the same question." Hawk's Eye replied. "You shouldn't make a pass at someone else's girl, you know." Tiger's Eye stared him down. "It's not me making the pass, dude." Just then, Mina arrived. She ran between them, and told them not to fight over her. Tiger's Eye proposed that she had to chose one of them. Mina tried to decide. The two men put all sorts of pressure on her. Finally, Mina said, "Well... I really like you both!" Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye were infuriorated. They revealed their true forms, and couldn't stand how Mina couldn't choose one of them. "Oh, so I get it!" Mina said dramatically. "You've actually been deceiving me!" "Don't cry, Mina! You deceived us too!" The two men both reminded. They got ready to end their game. "One!" Shouted Tiger's Eye. Two of the imprisoning tables appeared. "Two!" Hawk's Eye shouted. Mina was bound to the two tables. "Three!" They both shouted. Mina's Dream Mirror appeared. Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye being who they were, started fighting over who got to see Mina's Dream Mirror first. The girls saw what was happening from the bushes. "Ahhh, so this is what happens when you go out with two guys at once, huh?" Diana asked. "Not, it's not, Diana." Serena replied. Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye continued their fighting, and both got their heads into the mirror at the same time. "Don't touch my dream!" Mina pleaded. "Please! You might break it!" The two did not find Pegasus. Hawk's Eye knew that their only choice was to off Mina. "No way!" A voice shouted. Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye turned around and saw the Sailor Scouts. "How dare you mess with a girl's loving heart!" Sailor Moon shouted. "We're the Sailor Scouts! We stand for Love and Justice!" Sailor Mini Moon exclaimed. "And in the name of the moon, we shall punish you!" The two men of the Amazon Trio called their Remlis forth to finish off Mina and the Sailor Scouts. One was Gittanko, and the other was Bakanko. Bakanko was a smaller version of Gittanko. One was blue, and the other was pink. Hawk's Eye ordered the two to attack. Gittanko threw a large seesaw at the Sailor Scouts, but they weren't injured. Then, the two Remlises jumped high in the air, and landed on the levitated side of the seesaw. For moments nothing happened, but suddenly, the Sailor Scouts were propelled upwards very quickly. Gittanko and Bakanko used the seesaw to hit the Sailor Scouts while they were in the air. The Sailor Scouts landed on the ground, and were subdued. Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye began squabbling over who's Remlis had done the most damage. Meanwhile, Artemis snuck up to the still imprisoned Mina, and awoke her. "Are you alright?" He asked. Mina looked at the fighting duo of Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye. As she looked at them, she felt more and more enraged that they had fooled with her heart. She broke out of her bonds, and her Dream Mirror was returned to her. She ducked behind the two upright tables and transformed. "VENUS STAR POWER!" Tiger's Eye ordred the two monsters to attack. "Don't move!" A new voice shouted. Everyone looked to see Sailor Venus. "Sorry fellas, but you forgot this Sailor Scout!" Sailor Venus shouted. Sailor Moon was glad to see her companion. "How irritating!" Hawk's Eye said. "I thought you all showed up at once!" "I'm here to teach you freaky geeks a lesson!" Sailor Venus shouted, offending the duo. "I'm Sailor Venus! I stand for Love, and I stand for Beauty! Prepare to catch my Crescent Beam of anger, your boorish beasts!" With that, Sailor Venus shot a Cresent Beam Shower at everything and everyone, including the poor Sailor Scouts. With the monsters hit, and the Amazon Duo on the run, Sailors Moon and Mini Moon got ready to attack. "Please Pegasus, Protector of Dreams!" "CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!" "MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!" The monsters were destroyed, and Hawk's Eye and Tiger's Eye retreated. Sailor Venus looked like she was very apologetic, and she opened one eye and giggled. The other girls giggled too. "Rats!" Hawk's Eye said, slamming his drink down. "I almost won the game, I know it!" "You don't know anything." Tiger's Eye said. "We'll settle the game another time, alright Hawk's Eye?" "You got a deal." Fish Eye chimed in. "Oh, and I thought you'd both leave here if both of you lost in the game." She said. Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye glared at her. She said she was just joking. Meanwhile, Mina was on a bridge, staring at the landscape below. Artemis came to her and said that the others were waiting for her. "Artemis, I'm sorry I let myself be fooled by those jerks." Mina said in reply. "I lost my head." Artemis smirked. "If it's any consolation, I think they were fooled by you too." He said. "Anyway, I think you'll know when you've uh, found the right guy. But, it may take awhile. Mina, just stay true to yourself." Mina was standing up straighter to look at Artemis. She finally smiled after a moment. "Maybe you're right." She said. "Let's go!" The two ran off into the night to join their friends. To the Next episode |
