Sailor Moon Episode 150Episode title: Pegasus Revealed Original American Airdate: 11/06/2000 Original Canadian Airdate: All that day, Rini's thoughts kept drifting to one thing: Adulthood. More than anything that day, she wanted to be grown up like Serena, so she could do grown up things, like have a boyfriend. She was just a kid though, and she still had her responsibilities. Still, she couldn't help wondering what Pegasus would think of her if she was all grown up... That night, she and Serena were doing their homework together. Serena was staring down at her page, daydreaming instead of doing her work. Rini glared at her. "You're daydreaming, you're not doing your homework, and you bully me around." Rini grumbled. Serena flinched. "Never mind watching me." She said. "Did you do your homework?" "Of course!" Rini said. It was true. Her homework was finished. "Well, I gotta say, it is pretty easy math!" She said, grinning. Rini sighed. "Oh, I wish I was a kid again and had such easy homework to do!" Serena said. Rini got up, and was going out, since her homework was finished. Serena, showing how similar she was to Rini, went along with her. Rini protested in vain. "The prince heard the witch trap the princess!" ParaPara said spookily. She was doing a puppet show for some children. "Now, the prince is coming on his white horse to help save the princess." The prince and princess dolls both fell apart. "The witch captures the princess, and the princess* is caught too! But then, the witch crashes and dies! A great happy ending!" The children were less than amazed. They weren't even scared. Even they thought the ending was terrible. "Look, a candy tree!" ParaPara said, pointing behind the children. When they all turned around to see, ParaPara suddenly made many billiard balls appear. She only hit one, but every single ball shot through the air, and claimed their targets. All of the children's Dream Mirrors came out, but none of them was golden. "Why did you do that?" A voice demanded. ParaPara looked and saw Sailor Moon, with Sailor Mini Moon. "Those kids have innocent dreams!" Sailor Moon said. "And, they haven't finished their homework!" "Neither have you!" Mini Moon mumbled. "Never mind my business!" Sailor Moon said. "Mind your own!" The two turned back to ParaPara. "You can't have things just to suit yourself!" Mini Moon shouted. "We are the Sailor Scouts!" "And we fight for Love and Justice!" "I'm Sailor Moon!" "And I'm Sailor Mini Moon!" "And in the name of the Moon, we shall punish you!" ParaPara was flustered. "You should be more sympathetic to a poor, unlucky girl!" She said, as the Dream Mirrors returned themselves to their owners. "You say you fight for love, and yet here you are, arguing! Is love important to you?" The two Sailors answered that love is of course, important. ParaPara continued her moral assault. "But, you want to be this, you want to be that. You call that love? Wouldn't you call that selfish?" The two Sailors gaped at ParaPara a second. Sailor Moon turned to Mini Moon. "Selfish? Is it?" She wondered. Mini Moon thought for a minute. "Maybe you wanting to be young again because math is easier is selfish." She said finally. "And lazy. Yes, definitely lazy. But, wanting to be grown up is..." "Very selfish!" Sailor Moon interrupted. "Wanting to be grown up is.... Super very selfish!" The two exchanged nasty glances. From there, a torrential argument ensued. ParaPara watched them, then got an idea. She used her powers, and the two Sailors were bathed in a blue light. As they argued, they didn't seem to notice their bodies change. Suddenly, the stopped. Sailor Moon found it odd that she had to look up to Sailor Mini Moon. And of course, the same was true vice versa. ParaPara was very proud of her work. Sailor Moon as furious naturally, and Mini Moon, who wasn't so Mini anymore, looked at her new body. She was more in awe rather than amazement, but had things to do. Sailor Moon told her to call Pegasus. She knelt. "Please, Pegasus, protect people's dreams." She said in her grown up voice. "Crystal Twinkle Bell!" Though she called for Pegasus, he did not appear. ParaPara giggled. "You have a problem?" She said. She held up the stage for her puppets, and opened the curtains. Hoards of small black balls bounced out of it. They all hopped into the air, and turned into large assortments of monsters. They all started chasing the two Sailor Scouts around the park. "That was quite a show for a matinee!" A voice shouted. It was Sailor Mars. She and the other Sailor Scouts had finally arrived. Instead of fighting her though, they just watched as ParaPara flew off in her billiard ball. The monsters disappeared. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini Moon (Now, which is which?) sat back against each other, and Rini knocked Serena down, squashing her. The Sailor Scouts looked at the pair. To say the least, they were put off by the sudden change in the two. That night, Rini was walking up into her room in the attic. She bumped her head as she went in. She looked up into her room, and spied the lamp on her desk. Relieved to find it, but wondering why Pegasus didn't help, she went up to it. She tried to call Pegasus to see her, but he didn't come. Try as she might, the lamp sat there on her desk, its jewels glittering silently in the night. Rini cried, still wondering what had happened to the one who she thought was her friend. An hour or so later, Darien was presented with quite an interesting situation. Rini stood before him, a grown woman. Serena stood before him, but a little child. The small Serena explained the situation, and they needed a place to stay until the effects were to wear off. Darien looked at the odd duo. "Joke, right?" He said. "Where's the hidden camera?" The two girls sighed. Like it or not, Darien was having guests that night. Serena and Rini were bathing. Rini had already finished, but Serena was having fun swimming back and forth in the bath water. She reminded Rini to get dressed and go to bed before she catches cold. Though Rini told Serena she was going in her thoughts, she was sitting in front of the mirror, looking at herself. "I'm tall now." She said. "All grown up. I'm not mini anymore. If only Pegasus could see me now." She couldn't help looking even a little sad. Serena and Rini slept in bed together. Rini couldn't stop thinking of Pegasus, and wondering where he was. She drifted off to sleep, still swaddled in her questions. "My little girl..." A gentle voice called. "My little one!" "Pegasus?" Rini, at least in her dreams, was out in the empty streets of Tokyo, running towards Pegasus' voice. Each step brought her closer to him, though she could not see anything. A red moon shone as Rini came upon a flight of stairs in the middle of the street. She ascended them as quickly as she could, until everything around her had changed. "Pegasus!" She called. She looked about her. She was in the crystal forest that she had been brought to when Pegasus first appeared to her. It was colorful, and the colors that were there were vibrant. Pegasus didn't seem to answer her call. She heard the whinneys of horses nearby. She ran to them, and one turned its head to her. She stroked its muzzle softly. "Hello. Do you know Pegasus?" She asked. Suddenly, the horse she had touched, and the horses nearby broke like rocks, and fell to the ground, disappearing forever. Rini was startled, and looked around. "My little girl, don't be frightened." Pegasus' voice said once more. Rini looked upwards, as a light descended in front of her. It shone brighter and brighter, until a golden light erupted from it, and Pegasus appeared to her. "I'm here." He said, as his majestic form settled to the ground. Rini smiled. Rini's smile quickly melted as she remembered what had happened in the past day. "I thought I'd never see you again." She said. "I couldn't find you." Pegasus replied. "I'd lost you completely." "What?" Pegasus walked to Rini. "Your Dream Light didn't reach me anymore." "I don't understand." Said Rini. "What's my Dream Light, Pegasus?" "The light." He replied. "That's your Dream World. Our world." He moved his muzzle to be touched by Rini, but she drew her hand away, still shocked from the crumbling horses. Pegasus and Rini stared at each other for a minute. Finally, Pegasus rubbed his muzzle against Rini gently. When he didn't crumble, Rini relaxed and stroked Pegasus' fine face. "A dream world?" She said, as she held Pegasus tightly. Everything around them darkened, and only one light shone in the distance. "What's it called?" Rini asked. "Elysion." Pegasus replied. "That's where we live." "That's the world of Pegasus?" Rini said. "I'd like to see it." As if on cue, Pegasus spread his huge wings, and offered to take Rini. With little reluctance, she climbed onto his back. Pegasus took a running start, flapping his giant wings as hard as he could. Finally, the two lifted off, and flew into the light. The light was so bright and burning, that Rini had to close her eyes as they entered it. When she opened her eyes though, she was met with a contrasting sight. Below her, instead of vibrant life and colors, there was a desolate wasteland, littered by craters, black forest, and the coldness of death. "What is that down there?" She asked. "That is Elysion." Pegasus replied. "It's all barren now. All frozen." "No..." "It was a wonderful place, built on all the beautiful dreams of all the people in the world." He said. "What happened?" Rini asked. Pegasus thought back, and explained. "One day, the Circus from the shadow of the Dark Moon suddenly invaded our world. They were looking for the Golden Crystal of all dreams. I was trapped by them. If the Golden Crystal falls in their hands, not only Elysion, but the whole world will be caught in darkness. We must not let them have it." Pegasus thought back to a time when he had a different form. He had been captured by Queen Nehelenia He was a human, or at least in human form. A golden horn protruded from his head. Queen Nehelenia, confident in her new capture, left the room. Suddenly, a light shone. It was the only light in the darkness of the room. That light however, enabled the boy to transform into Pegasus, and he was able to break his bonds, and look for the source of the light. That light of course, was Rini. "But then, I lost the light." Pegasus said. "I couldn't feel your dreams because you wanted to be all grown up." Pegasus landed, and Rini got off of him. "But that is Dark Moon magic." He said. "The Dark Moon overshadowed your true dreams. You must get them back, those true and brilliant dreams of yours. They will allow me to survive. If you don't, I will never be able to find you again." "Why?" Rini asked. "Why wouldn't you?" A black moon sailed in the sky overhead. When it reached the midpoint between Rini and Pegasus, the two were pushed backward slowly, suddenly looking at each other through a barrier of light. It was then that Rini realized that she wouldn't be able to see Pegasus again if she stayed as she was. Unable to bear the thought of losing such a friend, she ran towards the barrier, and towards Pegasus. When she touched the barrier, her body instantaneously changed. Rini was no longer a grown woman. She was the child she used to be. She smiled, looking upon her body and seeing that it was true. "My little girl..." Pegasus said, walking to Rini. "Only your innocent dreams can save the world." The horse leaned in close to Rini, and Rini prepared herself for a kiss. A handsome young man kissed her gently on the lips, then smiled down upon her. Rini opened her eyes. "I am the guardian of the Golden Crystal of dreams in the world of Elysion." The man said. "I watch over the dreams of everyone on Earth. My name is Helios." "Helios?" Suddenly, Rini woke up. Serena was asleep next to her. Both of their bodies had returned to normal. Rini saw light gleaming through the blind in the window. She opened it, and saw light emanating from the park nearby. ParaPara had robbed another large crowd of the Dream Mirrors. She was getting frustrated, but all she could do was keep trying. "Stop where you are!" Two voices shouted. ParaPara looked and saw Sailor Moon, Sailor Mini Moon, and the rest of the Sailor Scouts, standing together. "You make a fool out of a girl who hates homework!" Sailor Moon shouted. "And you make a fool out of a girl who wants to be grown up!" Sailor Mini Moon added. "You make fools of everybody who has innocent dreams!" Shouted Mercury. "You do evil deeds in the dark of the night!" Sailor Mars said. "These simply mean acts cannot be continued!" Shouted Sailor Venus. "We are the Sailor Scouts, and we will simply not allow it!" Said Sailor Jupiter. Sailor Moon and Mini Moon reminded ParaPara that they were going to punish her in the name of the moon. ParaPara, surprised that the two were back to normal, sent out her Remlis. It resembled a candy peeking out of its wrapper, and the face of a rabbit. While it seemed friendly at first, its face switched to a rather evil looking one in midflight. It shot a huge amount of small balls at the Sailor Scouts. "JUPITER OAK EVOLUTION!" Jupiter's new power struck the balls, but they only multiplied when they broke. "VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!" Venus' power hit hard, but the balls continued to multiply. They were beginning to form a cloud. "MARS FLAME SHOOTER!" Sailor Mars' power hit home. Instead of the balls multiplying, they all melted together, and formed a big blob, instead of a large cloud. The Sailor Scouts turned and ran. Sailor Mercury had an idea. "MERCURY AQUA RHAPSODY!" The large blob was suddenly frozen in its place. The main Remlis poured out of its wrapper, and became a tall woman, with the wrapper as its clothing. It got ready to attack, but suddenly, a rose struck it, and it fell down. "You're not qualified to entertain people!" Tuxedo Mask shouted. "You waste too much food!" The Remlis tried to get itself off the ground, but it was stuck. Tuxedo Mask told the Sailor Scouts to finish it off. "Pegasus, please! Help protect people's dreams!" "CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!" "MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!" The Remlis was destroyed. When everything had calmed, the Sailor Scouts watched Pegasus soar through the sky above them. His majestic form soared above their heads. Serena noticed that he seemed to be looking at Rini. In fact, he was, and she blushed. As she stared at Pegasus, the Sailor Scouts teased Sailor Moon. Pegasus, I finally know a lot more about you. Rini said in her thoughts. But, was it all really a dream? Even the kiss? Please tell me, Pegasus... * I'm sure she meant "Prince". It's actually in the episode. To the Next episode |
