Amy was leaving school, when a teacher stopped her and gave her back her notebook. He asked what was wrong, as she didn't usually forget things like that. Amy said she was fine. Niether noticed Serena listening in down the hall as the teacher talked to Amy.

"You know, we're counting on you to represent us when you go to take the High School Exam." The teacher said. "Anyway, I heard that you were giving help to another student who is, shall we say highly ungifted?"

Serena gaped at the comment.

"Perhaps this student has slowed you down some." He continued, not knowing Serena's ego being beaten to a pulp.

"If she gets in your way and starts pulling you down, make sure you let me know and I'll deal with her." The teacher said.

"You mean you want me to tell you she's burdening me?" Amy asked, almost angrily. "I couldn't do that to a friend!"

The teacher said that the purpose of it was to get Serena a tutor, not to cause trouble. Serena moped in the hallway, but Molly hauled her off to get pizza. The pizza was payback for Molly allowing Serena to copy her homework.

"That's all I ever do is study." Amy said to herself, staring at the ground. She went outside and sat on the front stairs.

"Is it wrong to worry about school so much?" She asked herself. She sat there staring off into space. Then, a hand came down on her shoulder softly. She looked and saw Darien. They exchanged pleasantries.

"What are you doing here?" Darien asked, sitting down beside Amy. "Just daydreaming, or is something wrong? You're the last one I'd expect to see spacing out."

"Let me ask you." Amy said. "What do you think would happen to me if I wasn't such a by-the-book A plus super student?"

"What do you mean?" Darien asked. Amy apologized for asking a silly question.

"You see, my mother's a doctor, and a long time ago when I was a little girl, I decided I wanted to become one as well. Ever since then, I've studied hard believing that it's my dream to pursue medicine and become a good doctor. But..."

"It isn't your dream?"

"No, it's just like it's more of a plan than it is a dream, you know?" Amy said, looking up at the sky for an answer."

"A plan?" Darien replied. "But, becoming a good doctor seems like a wonderful dream to me, Amy."

"Yes," Amy said, "but most people with dreams from the heart are fueled by passion and spirit. Take Serena. She has lots of dreams and is full of spirit. I'm dull and boring."

"She's definitely full of something." Darien replied. "But it's not always spirit."

"But without my academic abilities, I feel like I'm nothing." Amy said. "How a nothing be a good doctor?"

"Amy, give yourself credit." Darien said. "I was just thinking that I might be able to stand getting a needle stuck in my arm if a pretty and kind doctor like you were to give it to me."

"Is that true?" Amy asked. "You're actually afraid of getting a needle?"

"More than anything." Darien replied. Amy giggled. Darien asked if her if she thought it funny, and she said that it was because he was always a tough guy. Amy stood, cheered up. They said their goodbyes, and as Amy ran off, Darien said "Please don't change Amy. You've got what it takes."

"So that's the renowned little brainiac." Kaori said to herself as she hovered high above Tokyo. She thought to herself, In order to be so brilliant, one must possess not only brains and competence, but also a pure heart.

Amy arrived and had changed into her bathing suit. She stretched and dipped her legs into the pool. She took the time to enjoy the privacy. She went the rest of the way into the pool and began to swim underwater. She enjoyed the silence and the water around her. Little did she know, Michele was also enjoying the water. She swam alongside Amy, and both were impressed with each other's swimming. They surfaced and said hello.

"So you must be the one who must have been a dolphin in a previous life." Michele said. Amy smiled at what seemed to be a compliment, but was kind of confused at it. Michele swam over to Amy and asked her to race. Before she could say anything, Amara's voice rang out at them to get ready. Amy and Michele got ready to race, and Amara told them to go. Both swam with enormous effort towards the finish line. Michele knew Amy was fast. In the end, they both tied. Michele simply got out of the pool without words. Amy came out after her.

"Why did you feel you had to slow down?" Michele asked as she dried her hair. Amy gasped, surprised that Michele had sensed that. "Is it cause you're afraid of hurting my ego?"

"I'm sorry." Amy said, looking down forlornly. "I honestly didn't mean to. I'm really sorry."

Amy ran away from the pool deck. "I can't even swim with spirit." She said to herself. Michele looked at her go.

"Uh oh, you made her upset." Amara said, who was laying on the high diving board.

"I didn't mean to." Michele replied.

"She just wanted to make friends with you." Amara said. "I'm sure she didn't slow down on purpose. It was just a subconscious reaction to avoid confrontation."

"I didn't mean to start a fight with her, I just wanted a genuine race with a good swimmer." Michele said. Amara chuckled. Michele felt bad and wanted to do something.

"I'm so boring." Amy said to herself as she climbed the steps to Raye's temple. "Who'd want to be my friend?"

In Raye's room, the girls were once again studying. Lita asked Mina what the saying to a question was, and Mina said,

"Oh, I know this one. It's 'Many bands take light work', or is it 'many lands', or 'hands'?"

"It's 'Many hands make light work'." Amy said, opening the door to Raye's room. Within seconds, the girls were all around her asking her the answers to their textbook questions. Serena came between them, and shoved the girls away.

"Get out of Amy's face right now!" She shouted. "She's not your personal answer book so leave her alone!"

The girls all stood in shock at Serena. Raye wondered if they should take her temperature. Serena scowled at Raye.

"Don't worry Serena, it's really alright." Amy said. "Feel free to ask me anything anytime, guys."

"Amy's different than us as we all know too well!" Serena said. "Not only does she have the High School Exam to prepare for, but she's also got Medical School, which is pretty much right around the corner! I shall punish anyone who gets in her way!"

The girls just continued to stare in complete shock. Serena told Amy that she was free to study all she wanted. Amy thanked Serena, and said she had to go. As she left, Serena caught a glimpse of a tear in Amy's eye.

"Too wierd!" Mina said. "Serena's keen on studying and Amy's forgotten something?!"

"What's wrong with this?" Lita remarked.

"Let's take advantage of Serena's present state before she reverts back to her normal self." Raye said with a smirk. As if it was karma, Serena ran out, saying she'd forgotten something.

Outside, Serena ran around frantically looking for Amy, hoping she didn't say anything stupid. Amy was at a bridge looking at the water.

"Even Serena thinks all I can do is study, study, study." Amy said to herself. "It's true. That's all I'm good at. I can't do anything else. I hate this."

She was about to cry, but the revving engine of a motorcycle behind her made her look. Sure enough, it was Amara. She told Amy that Michele wanted to race her again. Amara offered Amy a ride, but Amy decided to walk. Meanwhile, Luna and Artemis were walking the streets of Tokyo. Way down the street, they saw Amy walking along with someone on a motorbike. Luna ran to go check.

Deep in the sewers, Dr. Tomo had created his latest Daimon pod. He cackled maniacally as he sent the Daimon pod out into the night.

Amy had arrived at the pool and changed. She entered the pool area.

"You're here, Amy." Michele said gladly. "I'm glad you could make it. I hope my cousin Amara didn't force you."

Michele disrobed, leaving a purple bathing suit on her.

"Not at all, I'm quite happy to be here." Amy replied. "Listen, I'm really sorry if I offended you earlier on today. I didn't mean to slow down. It just kind of happened."

"It's okay." Michele replied, turning to face Amy. "I just like an honest race. You still want to race me, don't you?"

Meanwhile, Artemis had let Serena know that Amy was at the fitness center, and that Luna had gone to check it out. Serena and Artemis ran to the center, while Luna went inside, having arrived ahead of time.

Inside, Amy and Michele prepared to race a 100m freestyle. Amara gave them the signal to go, and both swam with their best effort. They reached the end, then turned to swim to the finish line. They were even.

She's the fastest swimmer I know. Amy thought to herself. I might lose this race. She continued to swim as hard as her body would go. Why am I swimming this hard? I've never gone this fast before. I must really want to win. Or... Maybe I'm afraid to lose... I think I just want to push myself as hard as I can in something non-academic for a change.

When the race was over, Michele sat on the deck and Amy was draped on it, half in the pool. They had tied.

"It's not so bad giving it all you've got, is it?" Michele said. Amy agreed. Michele helped her out of the pool and thanked her for a great race. Amy watched as Michele and Amara left. An inspired Amy didn't notice while Kaori sent the Daimon pod into the pool area. It absorbed itself into the pool. As it flashed with light, being imbued with negative energy, Amy suddenly stopped swimming and gasped. In the middle of the pool, a Heart Snatcher appeared.

The Heart Snatcher made tendrils out of water, and they grabbed Amy. They submerged her for a second, and then sent her careening into a window. The water congealed, pinning Amy against the window face first. The Heart Snatcher took off its swimming cap, revealing a black star. The star shot its beam at Amy, and began to extract her Heart Crystal.

Outside, Luna waved at Serena and said there might be a Heart Snatcher in the pool center. Serena looked up and saw the flashes of light coming from the building.

"MOON COSMIC POWER!"

The Heart Snatcher continued the extraction process on Amy.

"Yo, Flipperhead!" A voice shouted. The Heart Snatcher looked over and saw Sailor Moon. "Get away from her, you slimy water rat!" Sailor Moon said. "Why don't you go soak your ugly head! I stand for love, truth, and justice too! I'm Sailor Moon! And in the name of the moon, I shall punish you!"

Kaori appeared and told the Heart Snatcher to attack. The Heart Snatcher trapped Sailor Moon's arms in a floating tube, and renewed its attack on Amy's heart. Amy screamed in pain as her heart crystal was extracted. When it came out, Amy stopped screaming, and slumped against the window. Kaori inspected it.

"You evil sow!" Sailor Moon cried. "Give that crystal back to her! Amy's the kindest and smartest person I know!"

The Heart Snatcher put the mouthpiece to its snorkel in its mouth and blew into it. A blast of water smashed Sailor Moon, sending her crashing into a wall. Sailor Moon recovered quickly.

"She has what it takes to become a great doctor!" Sailor Moon said. "And you're taking it away! You can't do this! She's my special friend!"

Amy, who was slowly dying, shed tears at Sailor Moon's words. Kaori saw no power in the Heart Crystal. As she was about to crush it, a red rose struck her hand and knocked the crystal away. Kaori looked up and saw Tuxedo Mask on a diving board.

"Stop right there, you drippy dingbats!" He shouted. "I could never allow you to damage the pure heart of my good friend!"

Kaori ordered the Heart Snatcher to attack, and disappeared. The Heart Snatcher blew water at Tuxedo Mask, and he dodged it. Tuxedo Mask thrust is extending cane at the monster, and struck it in the back of the head. It landed in the water, but came to the surface in a floating tube. Suddenly, Luna and Artemis jumped onto the tube and popped it with thier teeth. The monster struggled in the water, and swam to the deck. Tuxedo Mask freed Sailor Moon, and cued her to attack.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

The Heart Snatcher was destroyed, and was nothing but a puddle of water. The Daimon pod broke, sending the spirit inside it out. The water holding Amy against the window faded, and Amy slumped to the floor. Sailor Moon grabbed the Heart Crystal and returned it to Amy's body. Amy opened her eyes and thanked Sailor Moon weakly. Neptune and Uranus watched nearby.

"I guess it was the wrong pure heart once again." Neptune said. "That's too bad, but..."

"But at least Amy is safe and sound and back to normal." Amara said.

Sailor Moon apologized, hoping she didn't say something stupid to hurt her earlier that day. Amy said that it was just because she was feeling down. She thanked Sailor Moon for being such a good friend. Tuxedo Mask noticed that she looked happier, and it was true. Amy felt passionate and confident about her dream.

"Passionate?!" Sailor Moon said. "About her dream?!"

She suddenly leapt onto Tuxedo Mask's arm.

"You know Amy," she said, "I think I should remind you that Tuxedo Mask happens to be my dreamboat, thank you very much."

"Really." Amy said. "But he's just my type, don't you think?" She went onto Tuxedo Mask's other arm.

"No no no!!!" Sailor Moon shouted.

"Yes, yes, yes!" Amy replied. Sailor Moon began to chase Amy in circles around Tuxedo Mask.

"We've gotta go home, cause we've got to study now, right Serena?"

"D'oh!"
