Sailor Moon Episode 91

"So, we have five nosy Sailor Scouts." Dr. Tomo said as an array of televisions sprang to life before him. "They're most bothersome. And what about these puzzling characters, Neptune and Uranus? I wonder why they're also after pure hearts with powers."

"It's funny." Kaori said. "Somehow they appear wherever we do. I don't know how they're able to do it, but I'm afraid they seem to have the ability to predict all of our targets."

"If that's the case, you know where they'll be next and you can set a trap." Dr. Tomo said. The array of televisions disappeared, leaving only empty space. Kaori smiled, having an idea for her next attack.

It was a sunny day in Tokyo. Serena and the girls were watching a dirt bike race, and Amara won. The girls and Darien all agreed that Amara was a great racer.

"It's an even cooler win because she was racing against all guys." Raye said. "She's so good at this, it's unreal."

"Oh no!" Amy said, reading her book. Mina asked what was wrong. "I was so busy reading my book I didn't see who won the race." The girls' shock at Amy was astounding.

Meanwhile, Amara was in the parking lot. She took off her helmet, and Michele gave her a towel to wipe off her sweat. Serena came up to her with the girls and congratulated her on her great win. Just then, three peaved guys holding weapons came up to Amara.

"Hey, Biker Babe!" One of them said. "Girlies don't dirt bike win races, now get out of here!"

"How stupid to think being a girl makes a difference! It's the fastest one who wins." Amara said.

Darien stepped between the guys and Amara. Just then, the guys turned around and stopped what they were doing.

"Mr. Yamada!" They all said. There was a bigger guy standing behind them, who seemed to be the leader of their gang.

"I'll just win the next race." Yamada said. "Forget it."

The guys walked away. Serena embraced Darien, and the girls asked who the guy was.

"Katsutoshi Yamada." Amara replied. "All odds are on him, but instead I won it."

"He's a dude who's passionate about Motocross, isn't he?" Michele said. "Passion usually comes from a Pure Heart, wouldn't you say?" She drew closer to Amara. "He's exactly the type who's supposed to have a pure heart with powers."

"We should make sure we watch him closely then." Amara replied. Michele said to leave it to her.

As the girls started leaving, they passed by a stand that was selling Motocross Action Figures. Serena ran through the crowd to the stand, and looked at one of the figures. She thought it adorable, but looked up just in time to see her bus, friends on it, leave.

"Look, there's Serena!" Raye exclaimed, pointing out the bus window. There was Serena, dashing after the bus. The girls all resigned themselves to fate, and were going to wait for Serena to catch the next bus. Serena returned to the bus stop only to find out that the next bus was going to come in an hour. She was just about to start waiting when Amara pulled up, offering a ride.

Serena shouted out as Amara propped up her front tire and sped forward. As she drove, a semi-truck came up behind her, honking its loud horn. Amara changed lanes to get out of its way, and the truck pulled up alongside them. The people driving the truck were the four guys who had lost the race. They moved their truck towards Amara's cycle, causing Amara to scrape her exhaust pipe along the road railing. Amara gunned the engine and flew on ahead of the truck, much to the guys' amazement. Amara pulled into a clearing in the bushes, and awaited the arrival of her foes. The truck pulled up some distance from the clearing and Amara looked on. The guys got out, and Amara held Serena close to her.

How could I miss the bus? I wanted to spend the day with Darien. Serena thought to herself. "Your perfume smells really nice." She said quietly. "What kind of perfume is that, Amara?"

Amara told Serena to stay put. Amara revealed herself to the boys. The boys tried to attack her, but Amara kicked them down easily. In seconds, they were begging for mercy.

"Go shopping!" Amara shouted. "There's a sale on personalities, you worthless thugs!"

Serena was amazed at Amara's bravery. Meanwhile, Yamada was racing his motorcycle through the land of the forest nearby. He stopped at the top of a waterfall.

"I must win." He said. "I will win this race if it's the last thing I do. Racing is my life."

Neptune watched him quietly from the shadows. Just then, a bubble containing Kaori appeared from the froth of the waterfall, and floated up and stopped just below his view. In his zeal, Yamada didn't notice the Daimon pod absorbing itself into his motorcycle. Suddenly, the motorcycle glowed bright red, and threw him off like a bucking horse.

"Good thing I followed him here." Neptune said to herself. "But where's Uranus?"

Meanwhile, Amara was having trouble starting her bike. She got up and walked away from Serena a few feet when her watch beeped. She pressed a button and began speaking quietly with Neptune. Neptune told her about the Heart Snatcher's arrival. Amara turned to Serena and apologized for not being able to take her home. She told Serena that a bus should be along any minute, and ran into the bushes. Serena decided to stay.

Yamada backed up to the edge of the cliff over the waterfall. Using the black star on its head, the Heart Snatcher extracted Yamada's Heart Crystal. Just then, it heard a noise. It turned to see Uranus and Neptune.

"Whenever and wherever there is evil, the tidal planet Neptune roars, and I, Sailor Neptune, will drown evil!"

"NEPTUNE DEEP SUBMERGE!"

The monster was hit hard by the force of Neptune's submerging attack. The Heart Crystal fell to the ground and Neptune picked it up. She saw no power in it and returned it to Yamada. Kaori laughed, who was high above them the whole time, laughed.

"He's not the one who should run, Sailor Neptune." She said. "We were never after this man's pure heart. Fool that you are, you fell right into my trap. You and Uranus are the ones that I want."

Just then, the Heart Snatcher leapt into action. It split into two of itself, and changed its form into a giant motorcycle tire. The two Heart Snatchers rushed at Sailor Neptune and bound her to a tree. They were about to take her Heart Crystal when Sailor Uranus appeared.

"Well, Sailor Uranus, I'm sorry." Kaori said. "There's no room for a fifth wheel."

Meanwhile, Serena was running through the forest looking for Amara. She came out of the bushes and beheld a shocking sight. Below her, Uranus faced off against the two Heart Snatchers while Kaori watched from a tree.

"MOON COSMIC POWER!"

Uranus dodged another attack from the Heart Snatchers. Kaori threated to cut Neptune with a sharp crystal blade, but a flying tiara cut Neptune's bonds and knocked Kaori backwards. The tiara returned to its owner.

"It doesn't take much to be cowardly!" Sailor Moon shouted. "I stand for love, truth and justice! I'm Sailor Moon! That's two against one! Only bullies and cowards fight unfairly! It takes a lot more courage and strength to do the right thing! And in the name of the moon, I shall punish you!"

Sailor Moon told Uranus to run, but Uranus refused to. The Heart Snatchers attacked Sailor Moon, and Sailor Moon was barely able to dodge. Uranus dove and pushed Sailor Moon out of the way of another attack. Uranus told Sailor Moon to run, but she refused to.

"It looks like there's bad harmony between those two scouts." Kaori said. She ordered the Heart Snatcher to attack. It shot two golden rings that fastened themselves around both the Sailors' wrists. Every time the Heart Snatcher attacked, Uranus pulled one way, and Sailor Moon pulled the other way. Kaori was amused by how tough the Scouts were making things for themselves. Uranus and Sailor Moon fell to the ground after they had tried to pull in different directions and ended up hurting each other. Kaori laughed.

"Uranus!" Neptune shouted. "You should get away from here! You must survive and carry out our mission!"

Uranus grabbed Sailor Moon and jumped out of the way just as the Heart Snatchers dove from above and smashed the ground beneath them. Kaori's hair wrapped itself around Neptune's neck and tossed Neptune off the cliff and down the waterfall. Uranus grabbed Sailor Moon and started running into the bushes.

"Why are you going the wrong way?!" Sailor Moon exclaimed. "She fell down over there!"

Kaori told the Heart Snatchers to follow the Sailors. Meanwhile, Uranus led Sailor Moon to a cave and ducked inside.

"Neptune might still be alive." Sailor Moon said. "We have to try and find her. You can't just abandon your cousin. Don't you care?"

"It won't come off." Uranus said, pulling at the bracelet on her wrist. They were suddenly quiet and still when two headlights from the Heart Snatchers shone in the cave. The lights went out, and the Heart Snatchers continued on their way.

Sailor Moon pleaded with Uranus to go save Neptune.

"If I go out there, they'll kill me." Uranus replied.

"We still have to try." Sailor Moon said. "She could be fighting for her life right now, and we're just sitting here!"

"You don't know what you're talking about!" Uranus shouted, standing up in anger. She glared at Sailor Moon for a second, then turned around. "Sailor Neptune and I made a promise." She said. "If anything should happen to either one of us, the other should try to escape and survive. The one who survives will carry out our plan to find Diamond Heart Crystals. That's the pact we made together."

"You have to go that far for your mission?" Sailor Moon said shocked. "Why are these Heart Crystals so important anyway?"

"You don't need to know that, okay?" Uranus replied.

"No, it's not okay!" Sailor Moon shouted. "Not when good and innocent people have to give up their pure hearts and die! I just don't understand how anything that cruel can be worth fighting for!" Tears were welling up in her eyes. "Tell me!"

"You're being emotional." Uranus replied. "There's a deafening silence coming closer. Something terrible's going to happen. In order to avoid it, we need to have these powerful pure hearts. I hate the thought of having to sacrifice a life. But if it helps to save the rest of the world, then I must. Well? Well, what would you do?"

Sailor Moon simply didn't know. Meanwhile, Kaori was surveying the froth of the waterfall, looking for Neptune. She wondered if the scout had survived. Back in the cave, a drop of water hit Uranus' shoulder, making her realize how much it was hurt. Sailor Moon got out a rag and wetted it in a puddle of water. She cleaned off the would and tied the rag around like a bandage.

"Can I ask you something?" Sailor Moon asked. Uranus agreed. "It's crazy, but I just can't stand it anymore." She said, smiling with embarrassment. She asked Uranus to scratch her back. She agreed to it.

"You know, this is kind of funny." Uranus said. "I used to think that you were just an annoying, loud oddball, but there's a lot more to you than I realized."

Just then, the Heart Snatcher appeared at the mouth of the cave again. The two were silent, and Uranus drew Sailor Moon close to her. Sailor Moon recognized her perfume, and suddenly came to a realization. Just then, the Heart Snatchers barrelled through the barrier they were hiding behind, and the two Sailors jumped out of the way. As they came about for another attack, Sailor Moon ran out of the cave and into the forest. Kaori watched from above as the Heart Snatchers missed another attack, and came around for yet another. The Sailor Scouts dodged it.

"Something's different!" Kaori said in displeasure. "They don't seem to be fighting like they were before! But I'm sure that cannot be possible!"

The Heart Snatchers shot two more golden rings, and the sailors used them to cut the chain that already bound them. Kaori got mad, but was more infuriated when Neptune emerged from the river alive. She was descending towards the weakened sailor, but Sailor Moon leapt at Kaori. Kaori was knocked off of her equilibrium, and Sailor Moon was knocked to the ground. Before the Heart Snatcher could hit Sailor Moon, Uranus stepped in the way.

"URANUS WORLD SHAKING!"

The power of Uranus' attack made the Heart Snatcher disappear. Just then, the original Heart Snatcher came flying out behind Uranus.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

The Heart Snatcher was destroyed. The motorbike fell to the ground, and out came the Daimon pod. It broke in half, and set the spirit inside it free.

"I will be back." Kaori said, disappearing.

Sailor Moon was glad at their victory. Uranus said that her opinion of Sailor Moon was higher, but didn't change anything about her mission. Uranus went to Neptune.

"Uranus, why did you risk your life to save mine?" Neptune asked.

"I didn't." Replied Uranus. "She did."

Uranus gestured to the top of the cliff. There stood a satisfied and slightly more grown up Sailor Moon.
