Sailor Moon Episode 104

Episode title: The Purity Chalice

The Marine Cathedral sat silently in what seemed to be the middle of the ocean. Inside though, Serena was begging Uranus to tell her how to replace their Heart Crystals. Uranus told her not to replace the crystal treasures, and made her promise to find the third. She mentioned a legendary princess.

"Legendary Princess?" Sailor Venus said.

"Who is this Princess?" Mars asked.

"She is a friend to this world," Uranus said weakly, "and she will save it from the deadly Silence and Destruction that is coming. Once the Princess holds the Purity Chalice, this world will be saved."

Before anyone could do anything, a huge stream of fire flew through the Sailor crowd, missing them all, almost deliberately. Then, a form raced between them all, and grabbed the mirror and saber. It was Eudial, who had recovered from her fall. Serena took a stand.

"MOON COSMIC POWER!"

Sailor Moon ran towards Eudial. Eudial was wearing a strange device on her back, and grabbed the hose that attatched to it.

"Fire Buster!"

A huge stream of fire shot at Sailor Moon, missing by inches, but knocking Sailor Moon to the floor as she jumped out of the way. Then, Eudial used her Fire Buster to surround the Sailor Scouts in a ring of fire. Mercury stepped up.

"SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!"

Nothing happened, except that the fire flared up. Mars decided to fight fire with fire.

"MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND!"

The fire flared up again. "Stop it Mars, you're making it worse!" Jupiter shouted. Eudial laughed and taunted the Sailor Scouts. Just then, Tuxedo Mask burst through a stained glass window. As he was in the air, he opened his cape and revealed Sailor Mini Moon underneath.

"Luna-P Extinguish!" Mini Moon shouted. She threw her Luna-P ball, and it extinguished the flames from Eudial's Fire Buster. The Scouts thanked the duo, and ran to catch Eudial. Sailor Moon stayed with Uranus and Neptune a moment.

"Uranus, Neptune, please hang on." She said. "I promise. I'll do everything I can to recover your crystal treasures." With that, she turned and started to run after Eudial.

Eudial in the meantime, was running down an empty hallway to what seemed to be certain freedom. She started to get worried when a chorus of footsteps echoed behind her. She turned and saw the Sailor Scouts. She stopped, and picked up another hose off of her Fire Buster device.

"Try this yummy treat!" She shouted, pulling the trigger. It shot a thick, sticky slime that trapped the feet of the Sailor Scouts. Sailor Mini Moon fell to her knees, and tried to get her hands free. She succeeded in getting her face stuck in the slime too. Jupiter and Venus fell. Eudial laughed and ran for it. Just then, Sailor Moon arrived. She saw Eudial running. She couldn't cross the slime, but suddenly had an idea. She apologized to the girls, then hopped on them like stepping stones. She stopped to make sure the Scouts were okay, but they told her to catch Eudial.

Sailor Moon dashed down the corridor as fast as she could, for the sake of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. As she ran, Trista watched quietly high above.

Meanwhile, Eudial burst open the doors to the front foyer, and dashed towards the front doors. She stopped when she heard Sailor Moon come up behind her.

"Not only do I despise your wicked ways, and your total regard for Human Life, but you have no fashion sense!" Sailor Moon said. "I stand for Love! And, I stand for Truth and Justice too! I'm Sailor Moon! And in the name of the Moon, I shall punish you!" Sailor Moon raised her Spiral Moon Scepter.

"Hmph. That's big talk, Half-moon." Eudial taunted. "You're pathetic! I've blocked your wimpy powers before, or did you forget, Goldilocks?"

Sailor Moon, somewhat daunted, used her best abilities to stop Eudial.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

"Fire Buster!"

Sailor Moon's power and Eudial's Fire Buster collided, and Sailor Moon's power was diffused. Eudial cackled evilly.

"Sailor Moon," Eudial said, "you've interfered with my work one time too many. And this time kid, I'm gonna make sure you pay for it dearly."

Sailor Moon could just stay where she was on the floor in fear. Outside, the moon was covered by black clouds.

"FIRE....!!!"

"Excuse me." Eudial stopped when she heard the voice. A lady walked out from the shadows. It was Trista.

"Eudial," Trista said, "you will now hand over the Crystal Treasures."

"There's no way!" Eudial replied. The rest of the Sailor Scouts appeared. Trista stood before everyone in the room.

"PLUTO STAR POWER!"

Sailor Pluto appeared before the Sailor Scouts, the first time in a long time.

"The last Crystal Treasure!" Sailor Pluto said, holding up her key staff. On it was a large red crystal ball. Everyone gasped in shock. Eudial just smirked, loving how perfect it was that all three Crystal Treasures were in one place for her. Pluto held out her crystal ball, and it glowed for a moment. Suddenly, the treasures that Eudial had shimmered, and flew to Pluto.

When Sailor Pluto held the three Crystal Treasures, the tiara on her forehead disappeared, replaced by the symbol of Pluto. Back in the main hall, the same thing was happening to Uranus and Neptune. Tuxedo Mask watched as the two bodies faded out of the room, and into the main foyer. Neptune and Uranus stood there with their eyes closed. The Crystal Treasures glowed brightly, and the Sailor Scouts watched while two Heart Crystals emerged from the mirror and the saber, each returning to their respective owners.

"The Pure Crystal Treasures!" Uranus exclaimed.

"So, I guess there's no victim after all, Uranus." Neptune said, smiling.

Uranus and Neptune grabbed hold of their Crystal Treasures, and a corona of light shone blindingly bright. Sailors Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus evoked the powers of their Crystal Treasures, which were finally revealed. Eudial watched in shock and fear. In the meantime though, someone shrieked in pain as a pillar of dark matter erupted around them. Dr. Tomo's lab rattled and shook violently.

Back at the cathedral, the light beams from each of the treasures created the sides of a pyramid. At the top of the pyramid appeared, at long last, the Purity Chalice.

"The power depends on who handles it." Said Pluto. "The Purity Chalice will either lead the world to peace or destruction. Its power knows no bounds."

Eudial saw an opportunity, and fired her Fire Buster at Pluto, Neptune and Uranus, surrounding them in flames. She did the same to Tuxedo Mask and the other Sailor Scouts. She dashed towards the Purity Chalice, laughing in happiness that she was about to obtain it for Dr. Tomo. Suddenly though, Sailor Moon leapt through the flames, and started dashing towards Eudial. Eudial shot her Fire Buster at Sailor Moon, knocking Sailor Moon to the floor. She continued her pursuit of the Chalice. Sailor Moon got up, and dashed towards the Chalice as well. The two ran side by side towards the Chalice. They both leapt up to it, and Sailor Moon was able to grab it only seconds before Eudial could. Sailor Moon's locket glowed brightly, sending Eudial flying backwards. The Cathedral was flooded with bright pink light, which diffused the flames in the room.

"It's Sailor Moon!" Sailor Mini Moon shouted. Sailor Moon held up the chalice, and in a bright flash, her uniform was changed. Her once blue skirt was white with blue and yellow stripes on the edge.

Eudial shot her Fire Buster at the newly reformed Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon raised her hand, and the stream of fire was stopped. She turned the fire back on Eudial, which sent Eudial flying out of a window, and landing on the ground below. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune looked on in wonder, hoping that Sailor Moon was their savior from the deadly Silence.

Meanwhile outside, Eudial sped off in her car angrily. The more angry she got, the faster she drove. As she reached a sharp turn, she went to press on the brake, but found nothing but a hole. Her leg, and the hole where her brake used to be, were covered in snails. There was also a note.

"Scream if your brake's been corroded by acid snails?!" Eudial read in exclamation. She screamed as her car smashed through the road railing, and dove into the ocean. Eudial's screams were silenced.

Inside, Sailor Moon reverted to her original Sailor form, and fell to the ground. Tuxedo Mask ran to her and cradled her in his arms. She smiled weakly up at him. The power of the Chalice weakened her a lot.

"Could it be?" Sailor Uranus said. "Sailor Moon isn't the one who can save the world." The Sailor Scouts looked at her. "The one who can save the world is supposed to have unlimited power and strength." She continued. "And Sailor Moon clearly doesn't have that."

"You mean you think it could be someone else?" Neptune asked.

"It looks to me like we have a new mission, Sailor Neptune." Uranus replied. "Are you in?" They both nodded to each other. Meanwhile, the person affected by the bringing of the Crystal Treasures was crying. It was the voice of a delicate little girl.

Dr. Tomo was in his lab, laughing happily. mimet came in.

"Good news, Doctor!" She said. "The Purity Chalice has appeared!" Tomo laughed. "And the bad news is the Sailor Scouts have it." She continued. Tomo laughed again. "Are you alright, doctor?" She asked.

"I'm fine, mimet." Tomo replied. "I'm well aware the Purity Chalice is revealed. It seems however, that none of the Sailor Scouts could make the best use of the Purity Chalice. You see, mimet, if any of the Sailor Scouts knew how to handle its incredible power, this laboratory, and all the Daimon pods would have been completely destroyed, along with my chances for world domination! But look! There's not even a crack in sight, is there?" He laughed maniacally.

"Maybe you're right." mimet said. "Call me cooky, but I've got a hunch there's someone out here who's strong enough to direct the Chalice's power to our influence."

"Oh, yes!!!" Dr. Tomo said, having somebody perfect in mind.

Meanwhile, the girl affected by the Crystal Treasures continued to cry in suffering...
