Sailor Moon Episode 105

Episode title: Show Stoppers

Dr. Tomo's lab lay silent. Fitting, for his duty. In a room, a dark form sat upon a cold, dark throne.

"Sovereign of Silence," he said, "how are you feeling today?"

"Not so hot." The form answered through speakers what were placed at either side of the throne. "My head feels like it's full of pea soup. I need some Pure Heart therapy. Do you have any for me?"

Dr. Tomo bowed his head. "Well, yes and no." He said. "We're still perfecting various techniques for capturing Pure Hearts. Then we'll drain these hearts of their energy to make you strong again, alright?"

The Sovereign nodded and Dr. Tomo went on his way.

Dr. Tomo was teaching a class to about five classmates. He was speaking to them about a new kind of device he was going to use to get people's Heart Crystals. It was a decoy, in the shape of a duck. In his demonstration, the decoys showed an excellent accuracy for tracking and capturing Heart Crystals. While Dr. Tomo was teaching, mimet was staring dreamily at a picture of an actor. Dr. Tomo saw it, and threw one of the decoys at her.

"My lecture isn't enough for your pitiful mind?" Tomo shouted, picking up the picture. "Movie star trading cards in my laboratory?!" He screamed. "I'm running the most sought after seminar in villainy and vileness, and you're ogling the latest teen screen idol? How dare you! Have you been paying any attention?"

mimet growled in rage, but kept it in.

"Of course, Dr. Tomo." She responded cheerfully. "As a matter of fact, I do believe I've pinpointed a Heart Crystal carrier for you."

"Really." Tomo replied. "And you can tell me what purpose the Heart Crystals serve, besides leading us to the Purity Force? Since now we know Sailor Moon just can't be a genuine Sovereign."

"Yes, the Crystals have energy which will be used to reinvigorate the Sovereign of Silence." mimet replied. Dr. Tomo created a Heart Snatcher by mixing a gun, a Daimon pod, and the decoys, and sent mimet on her way. mimet left the Witches 5, emerging from a gymnasium closet.

Meanwhile at Raye's, Trista was telling the girls about the legend behind the Purity Chalice.

"If the forces of good get the Purity Chalice, then the world will be a wonderous place indeed, and dark forces will be banished." Trista said. "But if negative forces get the Chalice first, then the world will be bathed in darkness. It will become a dark and desolate place, and that means the future as we know it won't come to be."

Raye suddenly shot up, remembering her vision. It was suddenly clear that the vision was about the end of the world.

Trista stood up, and told them that her place was with Neptune and Uranus to complete their mission. She left, and Serena went after her. When Serena looked out after Trista, Trista was nowhere to be seen.

"Why don't those Sailors ask us to help? They're so wierd." Raye said.

"You think so?" Serena said, taking a relaxed attitude. "It's not like she told us a thing that was new."

"Give me a break." Luna said.

"It's the Sovereign of Silence part that scares me." Artemis said.

The girls began to think about how easy things would be if the others would work with them. Mina somehow found a way to laugh about a situation where if they were to lose, they would be horrible mutants in the future. Just then, Rini came up to the room, looking for Trista. She was down, and wanted to go to the park with Trista. Lita asked which park.

"The Downtown Nature Park." Rini replied.

"Yes!" Mina exclaimed. "I'll take you down there, Rini! It's my fave!"

"Since when?" Lita wondered. Serena said they couldn't go because they had things to discuss. Mina said that she wanted to go. Amy sense she was hiding something, and Mina admitted that there was a movie being filmed at that park with a new hunk star, Joshua Ita. Mina and Lita swooned over him for a moment. Serena asked Raye if she was going to miss out on it.

"Nah." Raye replied. "I'm always in when it comes to hunk watching."

"Amy, we just need your vote!" Serena said.

"We're supposed to be searching for the Chalice." Amy replied.

"We will!" Serena said. "We'll search for Heart Crystals after the hot babe watch!" Serena said.

"Promise?" Amy said. Serena promised, thinking in her mind that Amy might read her insincerity. "Cutest hunk on earth." Amy said, smiling.

"She got Amy." Luna said, her jaw dropped.

"Our future is doomed." Artemis quipped.

Amy looked at the cats. "Come on you guys, we've had a tough morning." She said. "And, no one will be able to concentrate 'till we see the babe."

The girls cheered for themselves. The cats sighed.

Meanwhile, mimet was at the park, getting ready for her mission. She was sneaking about in the bushes. She took out her binoculars and spotted Joshua Ita. She blushed fiercly. She decided that before she was going to take his Heart Crystal, that she was going to give him some pastries she made first. She ran out towards Joshua. Suddenly, she was knocked to the ground by a group of girls. One of them stepped on mimet's pastries, telling her that Joshua hated sweets. She knelt over the crushed cakes.

"Hey, what's going on here?" A voice said. mimet looked up, and there was none other than Joshua Ita. "My so-called 'fans' were mean to you, right?" He said.

"Well, kinda sorta!" mimet said, barely able to control herself when she realized who was talking to her. He knelt.

"Did you make these for me?" He asked. mimet said yes. "Too bad they ruined all of your hard work. I love sweets." He scooped some of the icing onto his finger and tasted it. As he and his costar walked away, mimet had to remind herself that even though she loved this guy, she couldn't forget her mission.

Meanwhile, Joshua and his costar were acting out a scene with Serena, the girls and mimet watching. Rini was trying to see, but a wind came by and blew off her hat. She ran after it frantically, and passed a small girl on a bench. The girl was dressed in all black, the only contrasts being her pale skin, and the white flower perched on her clothing. The girl got up and started running after the hat too, and caught it just before it could land in a pond. The girl panted hard, and Rini caught up to her. She gave the hat back to Rini.

"It's a lovely hat." The girl said. Suddenly, she looked to the ground and began to shiver.

"Are you alright?" Rini asked, concerned.

"Yes." The girl replied. "Just a little tired is all. Nothing to worry about."

"Are you sure?" Rini asked, making sure the girl was alright.

"Thanks for staying with me." The girl said when she recovered.

"No problem." Rini said. Suddenly, she beamed with a smile. "Hey, you wanna play with me?" She asked. The girl looked up at her. "I'm Rini!" Rini said. "Rhymes with Teeny!" Rini giggled.

"My name's Hotaru." The girl said, smiling. They shook hands.

She's just like a baby doll. Sweet. Hotaru thought.

This could be my special friend, how neat! Rini thought as they smiled at each other.

Meanwhile, the director called for a break, and all the staff went to relax. Joshua and his costar went to a lake and stood together. mimet got herself ready to use her Heart Snatcher. She spied on Joshua and his costar for a moment, and the two kissed. mimet's heart was shattered into a million pieces. mimet's sad heart was soon filled with rage, and she released her Heart Snatcher, after changing her clothes.

She sent the Heart Snatcher, which looked like a person with a sombrero and a pogo stick horse, ran after the fleeing couple. As they ran towards the movie set, Rini and Hotaru saw the sight.

The Heart Snatcher shot water guns at the people on the set, sending them running. mimet sent the Heart Snatcher to spray even more water on the girls that crushed her food. Rini knew she had to transform, but not in front of Hotaru.

Somewhere in the park, the girls were settled down to eat their picnic. Just then, three girls ran by, pursued by a Heart Snatcher. mimet ordered the Heart Snatcher to get Joshua's Heart. Just before it could grab Joshua's heart though, a voice rang out.

"Move along, you wierd little doggie!" The voice shouted. It was Sailor Moon. "How dare you stop a new film masterpiece, you film hog!" With Sailor Moon, the other Sailor Scouts appeared. "This place is not big enough for outlaws like you, so we're just going to have to write you out of town!"

mimet ordered the Heart Snatcher to attack, and the Heart Snatcher got ready.

"MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!"

The Heart Snatcher took out its water pistol, and shot down each of the hearts that were shot at it, one by one. Sailor Moon gasped in shock. mimet ordered the Heart Snatcher to get Joshua's heart, and it threw an object at Joshua. His girlfriend got in the way, and the object rung around her neck. It was a horseshoe, and Joshua's girlfriend fell to the ground. The Heart Snatcher got off its horse, and went to Joshua. It grabbed him by the shoulders, and looked as if it was trying to bite or kiss him on the lips. Suddenly, the Heart Snatcher's mouth created an incredible suction, and Joshua's Heart Crystal popped out of his mouth, and the Heart Snatcher ate it. The Sailor Scouts looked on in disgust.

mimet ordered a hasty retreat. The two got ready to run.

"URANUS WORLD SHAKING!"

"NEPTUNE DEEP SUBMERGE!"

Both the powers hit the Heart Snatcher hard, and caused the Heart Crystal to come out. The Heart Snatcher was able to swallow the Heart Crystal again. Sailors Neptune and Uranus appeared.

"Who are you?" mimet said angrily.

"I'm Sailor Uranus, and I'm pulling the plug on this production!" Sailor Uranus shouted.

"And I'm Sailor Neptune, telling you you've shot your last take, slimeball!" Neptune shouted.

mimet looked around for something to help her. Just then, she spotted Rini and Hotaru in the bushes. She ordered an attack, and the Heart Snatcher threw a lasso, and caught Rini. mimet jumped down to the ground from her perch.

"You move an inch before I leave with the Heart Crystal, and little Miss Cotton Candy's gonna get a serious rope burn!" mimet said. The Sailor Scouts stayed where they were.

"Oh, poor Rini." Hotaru said to herself. "I can't believe they're picking on her." Rini struggled hard to get free from her binds.

"PLUTO DEADLY SCREAM!"

The power of Pluto's attack dissolved the ropes binding Rini. Then, Sailor Pluto appeared. She told Sailor Moon to transform to her next power phase.

"MOON CRISIS POWER!"

The Heart Snatcher charged towards Sailor Moon at top speed.

"RAINBOW MOON HEART ACHE!"

Sailor Moon's new power bombarded the Heart Snatcher with rainbow powers, and the power of her Spiral Moon Heart Attack, destroying the Heart Snatcher. The pistol it was made from returned to normal, and the Daimon pod popped out. It broke. The Sailor Scouts challenged mimet, but she burst into tears and ran away. The Sailor Scouts watched her run. Sailor Moon reverted to her normal Sailor self, and fell to the ground, weak.

Meanwhile, Rini was looking for Hotaru in the bushes. Hotaru came out, and Rini ran to her happily. Rini fell to the ground, and Hotaru noticed a large scratch on Rini's knee. Hotaru held her hand over the would and closed her eyes. Her hand began to glow, and Rini's wound closed.

"Amazing!" Rini said. "You have special powers?"

"Kids at school think I'm wierd and treat me like a total freak." Hotaru replied. "I don't have friends just because I'm a little bit different."

"I know how that is!" Rini exclaimed, looking wide-eyed at her new friend. "I think it's great! Honest!"

"Really, Rini?" Hotaru asked. Rini nodded. The two smiled at each other for a second. Suddenly, Hotaru started shivering again. Rini tried to help her friend in any way she could.

Meanwhile, the girls returned Joshua's Heart Crystal. Uranus and Neptune turned to leave, but Sailor Moon told them to stay, as they were a team.

"Why do you always leave?" Sailor Moon asked.

"It's our duty." Uranus replied. "This is the way to save our future."

"Anyway, we're not in the same league." Neptuen added.

"And what do you mean by that?" Sailor Mars snapped. "We were doing just fine until you came along." Uranus and Neptune walked off together. The girls suddenly looked around for Rini. Sailor Moon sighed.

"So high maintenance." She said to herself.

That night, Hotaru and Rini were walking together, until they came up to a large mansion. They stopped when Hotaru heard the voice of her father.

"Sweetheart, where have you been?" Hotaru's father asked. He ran to her, as if to be worried. "You've never stayed out so long before, I was getting worried." He said.

"There was a little problem at the park." Hotaru replied. "But I'm just fine now, daddy. And I met a new friend, Rini!"

"Wonderful." Hotaru's father said, narrowing his eye. "Rini, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"You too." Rini said.

"So Rini, we'll play together again soon?" Hotaru asked. Rini agreed wholeheartidly. They said their goodbyes, and Rini skipped home happily, with joy in her heart.

Now I miss my daddy! Rini said, feeling sad for a moment.

Meanwhile, Hotaru's father sent Hotaru to bed. He walked towards his basement, slipping on a long, white lab coat. He opened the door to his basement, which was a large laboratory, filled with beakers and experiments. He, Dr. Tomo, laughed maniacally, his glasses gleaming in the darkness.
