Serena woke up.

She had been surprised by something in her bed, and she threw off the blankets. Under them, was Rini, sleeping soundly.

"THAT FUNGUS IS IN MY BED AGAIN!!!!"

"No mommy." The fungus muttered. "Let me sleep some more, hmm?" Serena was infuriated.

"Get out of my bed NOW!!!!"

Rubeus was evil enough. Alone, he could humble an entire army. But not like the one who was going to talk to him in mere moments. Not like the man who had power beyond imagination. Rubeus turned as the center of his mighty flying crystal fortress emitted an image. The image was none other than the one called simply the Wiseman. With the Wiseman's power, and wisdom, anyone could conquer a world. Even in the future...

Wiseman said,

"I had another vision, Rubeus. The Moon Beam will appear again today at the tenth street bridge. So will the Crystal. I want the girl and the Crystal captured, understand?"

"I'll put the sisters right on it, Wiseman." Rubeus replied. "We'll complete our work by day's end."

"You'd better, before I run out of patience!" Warned the Wiseman.

"We'll all be glad when we can leave this prehistoric dive and get home. And by the way Wiseman, how are things in the future? Have you conquered any more Crystal Points there?"

"No, we haven't." Wiseman angrily replied. "And it hasn't helped that you failed to capture any Crystal Points yourself!"

"I don't understand." Rubeus said. "I thought the fight was going better."

"It was." Wiseman said. "Until we decided to launch an all-out attack on a Crystal Point near the Royal Palace. We've never encountered such resistance. Our forces were held off by a strong energy forcefield. We couldn't even get close!"

"An energy forcefield?" Rubeus said. "Coming from where?"

"Not where." Wiseman said. "Whom. Four female warriors sworn to defend Crystal Tokyo, and defend the royal family."

"Strong female warriors sounds mighty familiar." Rubeus said. "They must be the Sailor Scouts of the future. We've had problems with them here, too. They always show up at the wrong moment and blow us right out of the water!"

"Get rid of them, Rubeus." Wiseman ordered. "Right here, right now, in the past. We don't need their interference in the future!"

Wiseman disappeared, and Rubeus was left to himself. He said,

"The sisters are going to like this assignment. They've been looking to get even with the Sailor Scouts for quite a long time!"

Serena was cleaning, and Sammy was laughing.

"Double chores again!" He laughed. "Since Rini's been here, I never get in trouble anymore!"

"Why don't you keep your big mouth shut, Sammy?" Serena threatened. "You know, you could let Rini have your room, and go someplace else."

"I'd love to." Sam laughed. "But, where would I go, Serena?"

"You could stay over at Bobby's?" Sammy said that it was better to watch Serena suffer. Sammy saw Rini leaving, and Serena saw it as well. She asked where the little kid was going, and Rini said,

"Where I'm wanted." She ran off, and Serena went after her. She wondered where Rini was going. In the meantime, Rini was running from the house, and said to herself that she hated the place she was in. Back at the house, Luna was trying to get Serena to find Rini. Serena said that she was going to go shopping, and Luna said,

"Didn't you already spend your allowance at the arcade?"

Serena said to Luna that maybe Luna could look for Rini, and then call Serena. Luna said she wouldn't do it. Serena asked why, and Luna said,

"Because she isn't my responsibility!"

Eventually, Luna got Serena to go and find Rini. Meanwhile, Rini was sitting on a bridge, and was looking at her Luna Ball. She remembered everyone back home, and missed them so much. She couldn't take it anymore.

"I'm going home! I'm going home to the future!"

Rini reached into her shirt, and pulled out the Time Travel Key. She raised it high in the air, and yelled out.

"CRYSTAL KEY, TAKE ME HOME!!!!"

The key began to have an effect. It opened a portal in time above her, and began to lift her into it. Rini was ecstatic. She was finally going home to her mother, her father, her life. Rini was high in the air, and all of a sudden, the lifting force of the key stopped, and the portal closed. Rini fell to the ground. She said,

"I blew it. But I'll be back soon!" She began to sob. "I want my mommy." Rini began to cry. She began to cry with such emotion and almost anger, that she released the Moon Beam. Luna saw it, and went to it. Rini finished crying, and she heard a voice.

"What's the matter, little Princess? Can't find your way home anymore? Don't worry. I'll take you home."

"Back off, Birdy!" The second voice said. "I saw the Moon Beam first!" The two women advancing towards Rini were Catsy and Birdy (Catsy's voice changed). They got closer and closer. It seemed that the best way for Rini to escape was to go down the stairs. The Luna Ball saw that. As Birdy was stepping onto one of the steps, the Luna Ball got in the way, and Birdy fell. Rini ran, and Catsy flew after her, saying to Birdy,

"Asphalt taste good, sis?"

Rini ran, but was stopped by Catsy. Catsy was stronger than before, and was quick enough to avoid an attack by the Luna Ball. Catsy was gloating over Rini. Out of nowhere, Luna came flying at Catsy, and landed on her face. Catsy threw Luna into a chain link fence, and Luna fell to the ground. Catsy also fell. Rini ran, saying,

"Luna! Thank you!"

Birdy came up to her fallen sister and laughed.

"And how are you liking that asphalt?" Just then, the Luna Ball hit Birdy in the back of the head, and she fell to the asphalt. Both Birdy and Catsy got to their knees, and powdered their faces saying,

"That little weasel! She's toast!" Both the sisters left, and Luna muttered,

"Run faster, Rini."

Not too far away, Raye, Artemis and the other girls were waiting for Serena. Raye said,

"Come on, you guys. An hour's long enough! I'm sick of waiting for Serena!"

"Just a few more minutes." Lita said. Raye said,

"She's probably not even out of bed yet." Mina joked,

"I'll be Luna's just dragging her out now!" The girls looked to the sidewalk, and saw an injured Luna. They tended to her, and Luna said,

"Two of those weird sisters from the Negamoon were after Rini."

"Why didn't you call?" Raye asked.

"We would've come!" Lita said. Luna replied weakly,

"There wasn't enough time. It all happened so fast." The girls went to find Rini while Artemis cared for Luna.

Rini was still running from the two women who had come after her. She found a large construction site, and saw a hole to climb into. She went in, and it was lucky that Serena saw her, and decided to go after her. In the site, Rini was sitting by a large metal barrier, and Serena was hiding on the opposite side. Rini was talking to herself.

"It's gonna be okay." She said. "I'm scared too. I should tell Serena I'm here, but she doesn't care. Nobody cares, and those horrible ladies are after me!" She looked at the round Luna. "What should I do, Luna Ball?"

Rini pressed the nose on her Luna Ball. It said,

"Hi, Rini!" Rini said hi, and Luna Ball said, "What's the matter, Pumpkin? You been crying?"

"I'm so lonely." Rini said.

"But Rini, honey," The Luna Ball said, "you've made a lot of nice friends here."

"I'm scared." Rini said. "Weird ladies are chasing me." The Luna Ball replied,

"From the Negamoon." The person from the Luna Ball said. "They want to change the future so they can take over Crystal Tokyo."

"But what am I supposed to do?" Rini asked. "I haven't found the Crystal or my mother."

"You're going to have to keep trying, Rini." The Luna Ball said. "I know it's tough for such a little girl."

"Yeah." Rini agreed. "But Serena, the girl I've been staying with totally hates me. I can't stand it anymore!" Rini began to cry. "Can't I come home without the Crystal? I miss everyone so much!"

"No, Rini." The Luna Ball said. "It's safer for you to be here, where the Sailor Scouts can protect you. Don't you remember, little Princess? In the future, they're the female warriors who always protect you, and are your loyal and true friends. Those warriors are the Sailor Scouts, the same ones who protect you here. They're fighting for a peaceful future, just as we are. You must put your trust in them, and Sailor Moon. If you ever want to see your mother again, you must remain here. It's the only way!" The person in the Luna Ball disappeared. Serena thought, This must mean that Rini's a Princess. And her mother would be...

"Found you, you little amoeba!" Came a loud voice. Rini and Serena looked to see Catsy. Serena had to help Rini.

"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!!!!"

Catsy was about to grab Rini, but the one an only Sailor Moon appeared. She said,

"Yo, Maggot Breath!" Catsy looked over and saw the source of the voice.

"Sailor Moon!"

"You got that right! In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you! All your pretty lipstick cannot hide all the evil deep inside!" She jumped to Rini, and Catsy objected to the fact that Sailor Moon was going to take Rini. She said,

"No, I don't think so. Neither do my sisters." Catsy's other sisters appeared, and introduced themselves.

"My name's Prisma."

"I'm Avery."

"My name is Birdy."

"I'm Catsy, the oldest. You're not match for us!"

"Give up now!"

"Before we have to hurt you!"

"Not a pretty sight!"

"We're the Four Sisters, and we want that kid now!!"

Catsy said,

"You heard me, hand her over! Four against one, you haven't got a chance!" /P>

"So let's even the odds!" A voice rang out. The Sisters were surprised, and four forms appeared.

"I am Sailor Mars!"

"I am Sailor Mercury!"

"Sailor Jupiter!"

"Sailor Venus!"

"The Sailor Scouts!"

"Well, well." Catsy said, undaunted. "Looks like we've got us a showdown, ladies." The flower broke, and the match ups were made. Sailor Mercury was to fight Birdy of the Ice, Sailor Mars was to fight Catsy of the Fire, Sailor Jupiter was to fight Prisma of the Lightning, and Sailor Venus was to fight Avery of the Whip. Catsy blasted her blue fire at Sailor Mars, but Mars quickly countered, and a huge explosion lit up the construction site. Birdy fired her ice bolt at Mercury, and skinned Mercury's neck. Venus and Avery faced off, and in an instant, Avery's whip and Sailor Venus' Love Chain were whipping at each other. Sailor Moon said,

"They need my help, but I can't leave Rini." Just then, a small barrage of orbs came at Sailor Moon from behind, and hit her with incredible force. The explosion was so great, a crater remained where the explosion had hit. Sailor Moon was in great pain, and the other Sailor Scouts were distracted when they sensed it. Rini was shouting to her protector, though she was still in Sailor Moon's arms.

"Sailor Moon! Are you alright? Sailor Moon!"

"She will as soon as she gives up!" A voice rang out. Sailor Moon looked up, and man with red hair, and brown vest hovered over her. He said,

"You're no match for the power of the Negamoon. I've seen the future, and you're not in it!"

Sailor Moon shouted,

"Who are you, and what do you want!"

"I am Rubeus, from the far side of the Negamoon." He said with evil in his voice. "I live to see Crystal Tokyo ruled by the forces of the Negamoon." Rubeus raised his hands above his head, and formed more of the small orbs, the same ones that had hit Sailor Moon before. "So may I suggest you hand the kid over? I really don't want to hurt you!" Sailor Moon didn't move.

"Fine then, taste the fire of the Negamoon!"

Rubeus fired the orbs at Sailor Moon (BGM is "She's got the Power"), and Sailor Moon leaped out of the way. While Sailor Moon was in the air, Rubeus knew Sailor Moon needed to recover from her last jump. When Sailor Moon landed, Rubeus fired another barrage of orbs, and hit Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon flew through the air, and hit a steel wall with a lot of force. Sailor Moon fell to the ground, and Rini looked at the fallen warrior. Rini was trying to get Sailor Moon to stay awake, but Sailor Moon could barely fight it. She thought She's a naughty, sneaky little fungus, a major brat! Totally spoiled, and she hogs my bed!

"Sailor Moon, don't go, I need you!" Rini cried. Sailor Moon thought, Oh, but something about her. I just can't help liking the little spore!

"Ready to go?" Rubeus said, towering over the fallen Sailor Moon. "Time's a-wasting!"

"Oh no you don't!" Sailor Moon said weakly. Her determination forced her off the ground. "I'm not letting you or anybody take her, you hear me? No one takes her without facing me first." Sailor Moon thought about how the future would be if she failed. With new energy, she shouted,

"You're dusted, buster!" To Sailor Moon's surprise, and relief, a small red rose flew down. Rubeus looked at Tuxedo Mask for the first time. Tuxedo Mask said,

"Bullying little kids? How low do you go, pal? You just a schoolyard bully?"

"Find out, Cape Boy!" Rubeus yelled. He threw more orbs at Tuxedo Mask, and Tuxedo Mask jumped out of the way. When Tuxedo Mask landed by Sailor Moon and Rini, Rubeus fired another barrage of orbs, and Tuxedo Mask looked on for a second. In a moment's surprise, a huge barrage of roses flew to meet Rubeus' attack, and there was a huge explosion. Rubeus was slightly disoriented, and Tuxedo Mask said,

"Hey, Sailor Moon, this guy could use some scepter therapy, don't you think?"

"Sure could!"

"MOON SCEPTER ELIMINATION!!!!"

Rubeus watched as the effects of the Moon Scepter began to take effect on him, but he got out of the blast just in time, and appeared in the sky. He shouted out,

"We're outta here! Hurry up sisters!"

The Four Sisters stopped in their tracks, and just disappeared. Rubeus disappeared saying,

"We'll be back, Sailor Scouts!"

"Are you okay, Rini?" Sailor Moon asked. The sun was going down on the horizon. "That was scary stuff. You were really brave, you know that? But we're gonna keep a closer eye on you. The Wierd Sisters mean serious business, and they're bound to attack again. But the Sailor Scouts will protect you.

"You too?" Rini asked.

"Of course me too." Sailor Moon said. "Me most of all."

Rini hugged Sailor Moon, and thanked her. She said that she had really wanted to go home, but couldn't do it without finding the Imperium Silver Crystal, or finding out who her mother was. Sailor Moon said that they'd find her mother, and get her back to the future. Rini cried in Sailor Moon's arms.

Meanwhile, the man sat in a place that was far darker than the puny place of Rubeus' fortress. Wiseman was in his chambers on the Negamoon, and was contemplating Sailor Moon.

"This Sailor Moon may have an important role in all this. She may even be the key to the whole mission, and in that case, she'll have to be eliminated." Before the Wiseman, a large image of a woman appeared.

"Of course!" Wiseman said. "Why didn't I see it before? She looks like the Queen of Crystal Tokyo, and the child! She could be her daughter!"

The darkness of the Negamoon held the image of the Queen of Crystal Tokyo.
