Sailor Moon episode 75

Episode title: Future Shocked

Rini was standing by fountain in a park. I was so excited when the Sailor Scouts said they'd come to the future to save my mom. But, all those nasty people from the Negamoon are there. Maybe this isn't such a good idea.

Rini looked at her Time Key for a moment, then looked upwards.

"Mommy, please tell me what I should do!"

Behind her, a shadow crept up. It was Darien. He said,

"What are you doing here all by yourself? I thought we were on our to the future."

Rini couldn't answer. Darien said,

"I know this must be really scary for you, but you're not going to save your mom by just standing there! You've gotta have faith, both in your special powers, and the powers of your friends."

Rini began to feel better, and Darien told her that the Sailor Scouts were waiting. He asked Rini if she was ready, and she said she was.

"Rini's late." Said Sailor Jupiter. She and the other Sailor Scouts were standing on the dock where Rubeus once attacked Rini. "I don't like this!"

"Sailor Moon, didn't you leave the house together?" Asked Mars. Sailor Moon replied,

"Yeah, we did, but she said there was something she forgot to do." She stood up, as she was once sitting.

"Too much time has passed." Said Sailor Mercury. "Something's wrong!"

Venus offered to go look for the girl, and Jupiter said she'd go with Venus. Just as they were walking off to find Rini, they were stopped by a man. It was Tuxedo Mask, and he was with Rini.

"She's right here, and ready to go to the future." He said.

"Hey, Rini!" Sailor Moon called. "You haven't changed your mind?"

"You kidding?" Rini replied. "I wanna see my mom more than ever!"

"So, great!" Chimed Artemis. "What are we waiting for?"

"Well, Rini," Said Luna, "I guess it's up to you now."

Rini took out her Time Key, and called out,

"Guardian of Time! Open the gates to the future! Open them now, so I can save my mommy!"

"MOON CRYSTAL KEY! TAKE ME BACK TO THE FUTURE!"

All around, wind began to blow, and Rini shouted,

"And my friends, too! You gotta work! We gotta save my mommy from those Negamoonies! My mommy's counting on us!"

The wind created from the Time Key was blowing the Scout's hair upwards, and in the sky, clouds separated, letting a gleam of light pass through. It grew and expanded, and Rini called out one final time. The beam surrounded the Sailor Scouts, Rini, Luna, Artemis and Tuxedo Mask. The energy lifted chunks of ice out of the river, and they dropped again when the beam, the Sailor Scouts, Rini, Tuxedo Mask, and the cats were gone.

A pillar of white light shone in a spot on a huge expanse. Grey mists blanketed the surroundings, and nothing but fog was at the feet of the Sailor Scouts when only Sailor Moon appeared. She began to wonder where the others went. She looked before her, and saw a huge shadow. She began to walk toward it, and she heard a voice.

"Don't move, trespasser!" It shouted. "I am the guardian of time! Only those deemed worthy of admittance are allowed here. You are not worthy!"

There was another form. It was a little taller than Sailor Moon, and had a large staff. The figure raised the staff, and swung, barely missing Sailor Moon.

"Wait a minute!" Sailor Moon said. "I can explain!"

"Too late!" Shouted the form, who was holding their staff high above their head. It was about to slam Sailor Moon with the staff.

"Stop!" Rini's voice rang out. "Luna-P!" Rini ran to the figure, and hugged it. It was Sailor Pluto.

"Small Lady." Pluto said. She looked to Sailor Moon, who had clumsily fallen to the ground when she had the staff swung at her. "Sailor Moon." She said. "My apologies. The fog hid you!"

"Sailor Pluto." Said Sailor Moon. She got up, and turned to see all of her friends. Pluto turned to Rini, and asked her to explain.

"Don't be mad." Rini said. "This is all my fault! I know you said I was only supposed to come alone, but I need all the help I can get to rescue my poor mommy!"

"Don't you worry." Sailor Pluto replied, raising her arm slightly. Rini cringed, and Pluto only placed her hand on the child's head.

"Then, you're not going to be angry with me?" Rini asked, shocked.

"Small Lady," said Pluto, "you made it here because you finally learned to use the Time Key. That's a great achievement. I'm proud of you."

Rini beamed with pride, and the Sailor Scouts looked on smiling. Sailor Pluto turned to them.

"And now, for the rest of you." She said. "I must apologize. I mistakenly attacked you, but believe me, I'm very grateful for you helping Small Lady." She smiled. "And you, Sailor Moon." She said. "I can only hope that you accept my sincere apologies."

Sailor Moon looked at Sailor Pluto, dumbfounded. Sailor Pluto turned towards a large door that looked similar to the doorway to a ballroom.

"Now, it is time for you to continue your journey." She said. Beyond this gate is a void, and then, beyond that," she raised her large key-shaped staff high in the air, "the Cosmic Time Warp!" Her key staff emitted tiny bubbles of energy, and they flowed into a large keyhole on the door. The door opened, revealing a large void on the other side.

"It's very powerful, and very dangerous." Pluto warned. "You must be careful, or you could end up anywhere!"

"Thanks, Luna-P." Said Rini. Sailor Pluto told the group to take each others hands, and hold on tight. Luna and Artemis held on to Tuxedo Mask, and the group held each other tightly.

"Start concentrating hard on your destination." Pluto instructed. "That is how you will find your way to Small Lady's future."

"Sailor Pluto," Mercury said, "can't you come with us?" Pluto shook her head.

"My duty's here: Guarding the Gate of Time. Please protect Small Lady for me. This is a dangerous venture!" Artemis said,

"You can count on us!"

Rini said good-bye to "Luna-P", and the Sailors and Tuxedo Mask all jumped into the gate. As they were flying through the void, a loud ticking of a grandfather clock began, and Luna said,

"Poor Sailor Pluto. I heard about her long ago from Queen Serenity. A solitary soldier, guarding the Gate of Time for all eternity."

"What a responsibility!" Commented Mars. Sailor Pluto stood in watch over the gate as the Sailors flew through the void.

"Very few people have ever had the chance to meet her." Luna said.

"And what a lonely life!" Venus said sympathetically.

"Then, I guess we're very privileged, aren't we?" Said Jupiter.

"Good bye, Sailor P!" Said Mercury. Artemis saw the entrance to the time warp, just as Pluto closed the Gate.

The Sailor Scouts appeared in the time warp. It was a long bridge that had large crystal pillars in rows on either side. The place was very windy, and the Sailors felt an immense amount of pressure. Tuxedo Mask told them to focus on the future, and they began to walk.

On the Negamoon, a large crystal ball was being observed by Sapphire.

"We've got visitors in the Cosmic Time Warp." He said. "Someone's just activated an old passage that the Queen used to use into her castle. Do you think it's her brat, Rini?"

Emerald appeared, and said,

"Who else would use that route?"

"She didn't come alone." Sapphire replied. "She brought several others with her." Emerald became concerned.

"Hmm. Maybe the Sailor Scouts." Said Prince Diamond, who was standing by. "The Wiseman would know."

Just then, Wiseman appeared.

"As you can see," he said, showing Diamond his own personal crystal ball, "she's brought all her allies. We can turn this to our advantage, Prince! I know we can bring Small Lady over to our side." He chuckled.

"That annoying twit?" Emerald said. "Why would we want her?"

"She'll be our most powerful weapon!" Wiseman replied. "Once we capture the Silver Crystal, and imbue it with the Negaforce!"

Prince Diamond looked at the crystal ball, which showed the Sailor Scouts as they walked through the time warp, specifically Sailor Moon.

"Her eyes." He whispered to himself. "So beautiful. Sailor Moon. Exquisite."

"Uh, your highness." Sapphire brought Diamond back to reality.

"Small Lady's vital!" Wiseman said. "We must capture her now!" He sank into the floor, and disappeared. Diamond turned to Emerald.

"Emerald, you must capture them both, but bring them back unharmed. And, I'm warning you: If you fail at this, I won't forgive you!"

Emerald flinched, and replied,

"But why Sailor Moon?"

"I want to look into those beautiful blue eyes in person." Diamond replied. Sapphire and Emerald were both disgusted. Diamond dismissed them, and disappeared.

"I don't like this." Sapphire said. "First, Wiseman fills Diamond's head with these crazy stories about the Silver Crystal, and bringing this brat over to our side! And then, he's all excited about seeing Sailor Moon! I mean, who needs her?"

"Are we having a bout of jealousy, Sapphire?" Emerald taunted. "Actually, it's probably for good cause. Prince Diamond has big eyes for Sailor Moon."

"It's that creepy old Wiseman I'm worried about." Replied Sapphire.

"Well, you fret over the old man, and I'll take care of that brain waste, Sailor Moon. I think I'll leave her in the Time Warp!" Emerald laughed to herself.

Meanwhile, the Sailor Scouts, Rini, and Tuxedo Mask were all pressing on in the Time Warp. Rini thought Concentrate on the future. We have to get home to my mommy! I'm counting on you to save her. She saw her mother in her mind for a second, as she pressed on. You can't give up now! She pleaded. Oh, please, you can't! Rini and Sailor Moon began to lose their hold on each other. Rini smiled at Sailor Moon, as they reaffirmed their grip. Without warning, a shrill, loud laugh rang through the Time Warp, and the Sailor Scouts looked up to see Emerald.

"Well, look who's here!" She taunted. "I really hope you like this time warp!" The Sailor Scouts stopped moving. "'Cause you're gonna be here for a long time!"

Using her fan, Emerald created a large ball of energy, and fired it at the Sailor Scouts. It hit Rini and Sailor Moon, sending the entire group flying back. They each lost their grip, and disappeared in time. Emerald landed on the platform that the Sailor Scouts had been trekking across, and said to herself,

"That should keep them busy." She called upon the Genie of the Time Warp. The Genie appeared, and Emerald told her to make sure the Sailor Scouts were to be lost in time forever, except Small Lady. She wanted Small Lady brought to her. The Genie went to complete its mission. Emerald said to herself,

"Oh dear, silly old me! How could I forget about Sailor Moon?" She smiled wryly. "Poor little Meatball Head's going to be lost in the time warp! Oh well, how dreadful!" She laughed to herself.

Meanwhile, all the Sailor Scouts appeared together, but without Tuxedo Mask or Rini. All around them, everything was black.

"Is everyone okay?" Mars asked.

"Rini and Tuxedo Mask are missing!" Said Sailor Moon.

"More bad news." Sailor Mercury said. "Luna and Artemis are gone too! They could be anywhere in time and space!"

"Remember what Sailor Pluto said about focusing." Suggested Sailor Jupiter.

"Always on our destination." Said Venus. "Maybe if Rini and Tuxedo Mask do the same thing..."

"If I'd only just held on to her." Sailor Moon said ruefully. "This is all my fault!"

"Well, let's not waste time discussing it!" Said Sailor Mars, putting a hand on Sailor Moon's shoulder. "Let's concentrate on Rini's home like Sailor Pluto said. I bet we'll find her!"

Sailor Moon asked Mars if she was sure, and Mars said that it was better than just standing around. Without warning, Sailor Moon's locket opened, and the Silver Crystal shone a bright pink. Its light pulsated, and Sailor Venus alerted them to a similar light that shone from a long distance away.

"How very strange!" Said Mercury. "It's pulsing exactly in synch with the Silver Crystal. What do you suppose it means, Sailor Moon?"

"Who cares, long as it leads us to Rini!" Replied Sailor Moon. The Sailor Scouts began to walk towards the flashing light.

Meanwhile, Tuxedo Mask appeared with Luna and Artemis in a more brightly colored void.

"Where are we?" He asked.

"I have no idea!" Replied Luna.

"How are we ever going to find the others?" Asked Artemis. Luna replied,

"Don't know. This is just what Sailor Pluto said."

"Let's start looking before they get too far away." Said Tuxedo Mask. He began to start walking, but stopped when he heard a voice.

"Wait." It said. Tuxedo Mask asked who was there. The voice echoed, "That's the wrong way. Go this direction. Hurry." Tuxedo Mask and the cats turned around to the opposite direction.

"Who's this guy?" Artemis inquired. Luna suspected a trap.

"Don't think so, Luna." Tuxedo Mask said. "The voice is familiar, and I trust him, so come on." They all began to walk in the direction they were told.

Meanwhile, Rini appeared in a place with dead trees. Her surroundings were bright pink, and she called out for help.

"Where is everyone?" She asked to no one. "I'm all alone. What'll I do now?" She pondered, tears welling up in her eyes. "I hate being alone." The Luna Sphere floated into her hands, and she called out for her mother. She looked up, and some distance away, a form appeared.

"It's the portal to the future." She stated. "I should go on alone. But, I know I can't save mommy all by myself. Oh, Luna-P, what do I do?" She looked up again, and gasped. Someone's voice rang out.

"It's okay." The voice said. It was Serena's only slightly warped. "Mommy's here." Rini dropped the Luna Sphere, and gazed in shock. "My poor, brave darling." The voice said. Rini looked at a shadowed figure ahead of her. The light shone on her, and the person said, "Small Lady." Suddenly, Rini smiled with joy, and proclaimed,

"Mommy!"

Rini's mother turned, and suggested that they go home. Rini ran joyfully towards her mother, after such a long time, and suddenly stopped.

"Wait." Rini said. "You're not my mommy. Who are you?"

"I'm your mommy, of course!" Said Rini's mother.

"It's a trick!" Rini exclaimed. "You're not my mommy! She never calls me 'Small Lady'!"

"Think you're clever, don't ya, kid?" Said Rini's mother in a new voice, changing into the Genie of the Time Warp. "Well, not clever enough to escape me!"

The Genie appeared right in front of Rini, and extracted her nails, much like Catsy.

"Let's see." Genie said. "What shall I do with you?" The Genie began to move toward Rini, and Rini tried to back away. My body won't move! She thought. She's going to catch me, and I can't do anything about! I'm sorry mommy, I'm sorry! Then, she remembered Darien's words.

"Oh, Rini. You're not going to save your mom by just standing there."

You're right, Darien. Thought Rini. I'd better do something! She called for Luna-P, and the Luna Sphere leapt up and smashed the Genie in the face, disorienting her.

"LUNA SPHERE KITTY MAGIC!"

The Luna Sphere turned into a slingshot, and Rini took a shot at the Genie. Bright, small flashes of coloured light exploded all around the Genie. Rini was surprised to see that the Genie was undaunted, despite the smoke that had arisen into the air.

"Bet you have fun with that thing on a playground in kindergarten!" The Genie said. "You'll need more than a toy to stop me! This time, baby, let me tuck you in!"

With that, the Genie's hair shot out of her head, growing at a rapid pace. Her hair was about to curl around Rini.

"Stop right there!" Came a voice. Genie looked over to see the Sailor Scouts.

"Why don't you try picking on someone your own size, Marshmallow Brain!" Taunted Sailor Moon. The Genie, completely self-confident, said,

"So, you dolts managed to get through the time warp."

"Of course!" Replied Sailor Moon. "We're the Sailor Scouts! When our friends are in trouble, we're there for them! In the name of the Moon, I fight for love and for justice too! I'm Sailor Moon! You may be a genie, but you'll be the one wishing now!"

The Genie shot a wave of energy at the Sailor Scouts that moved slowly towards them. When it hit, it startled the Sailor Scouts, but didn't hurt them.

"I don't get it!" Jupiter said. "What did she just do?"

"I've made it so time can run forwards or backwards!" The Genies said. Mercury activated her VR Visor, and said,

"We're in big trouble here!"

"Won't be when I'm done!" Said Mars. She went to attack, and Sailor Mercury told her to wait.

"MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND!"

The Genies stood and watched as the rings of fire flew towards her, and simply raised her hand, and the rings flew back towards Mars. Mercury said,

"She's reversed time to turn your power back on you!"

Jupiter and Venus went to attack.

"JUPITER THUNDERCLAP ZAP!"

"VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!"

Jupiter and Venus ducked, as the Genie turned their powers back on them. Mercury's visor was printing readouts for Sailor Mercury.

"I've got it!" Sailor Mercury said. "The normal flow of time is restored for second, after she uses her power. That's when we've go to strike!"

"Okay! I'm ready!" Announced Sailor Venus.

"I'm ready too, Sailor Mercury!" Proclaimed Sailor Mars. "Anytime you are. Let's do it!"

"That sounds good to me!" Said Jupiter. Sailor Moon said,

"Me too! But, how do we get her to use her power again?"

"That's my job!" Rini said, pushing through the Scouts. "Leave it to me!"

"Rini!" Exclaimed Sailor Moon. "No!"

"It's too dangerous!" Warned Sailor Mars.

"I don't care!" Shouted Rini, charging at the Genie. Darien, she thought, I trust in my powers. I trust in my friends! The Genie taunted and belittled Rini as the little girl charged her, and Rini leapt at the Genie. The Genie used her powers to throw Rini away, and Rini called out to the Sailor Scouts.

"MARS STAR POWER!"

"MERCURY STAR POWER!"

"JUPITER STAR POWER!"

"VENUS STAR POWER!"

"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!"

Rini powered up, the crescent moon appeared on her forehead, and she fired another shot at the Genie. The shot encased her head in a pink light for a second, but the Genie recovered, and shot another wave of time-distorting energy at Rini. Tuxedo Mask appeared, and took Rini to safety.

"Just it time, Tuxedo Mask!" Said Rini.

"Now, Scouts!" Shouted Tuxedo Mask.

"SAILOR PLANET POWER!"

The five powers of the planets converged, amplified, and hit the Genie with full force. The Genie was destroyed, and her crystal went dead.

"Rini, you're very brave." Tuxedo Mask said. Rini thanked him. "Now, maybe we'll get to the future!"

The Sailor Scouts and the cats agreed.

Before the Sailor Scouts stood a large door, exactly like the one they had seen with Sailor Pluto. They opened, and the Sailor Scouts all gasped.

"What is this?" Inquired Sailor Moon. The Sailor Scouts were all in shock. Before them stood Crystal Tokyo, forever locked in the night, with huge gaping craters where whole towers used to be.

"This is our future?" Sailor Moon asked. "Hey," she said, "anybody for going back home? I think I'd rather study for that math final!"
