Akane Tendo

Akane Tendo is the child of Soun Tendo, who runs the Tendo School Of Anything Goes Martial Arts. Akane, at 16, is the youngest of three sisters. Her sister, Nabiki, is 17 years old, and her oldest sister, Kasumi, is 19 years old.

When Ranma came to the dojo, one of the three were to marry Ranma. Kasumi and Nabiki selected Akane to marry Ranma as she hates boys and Ranma is half girl. Akane, being forced into this, obviously did not like that idea. She did start to have feelings for Ranma after a while, is very shy to admit it.

She is a fighter, not too good a fighter, but not bad either. She doesn't know anything in the way of techniques, and can easily be defeated by Ranma. She can, however, defeat those dozens of boys who once rushed her early in the morning.

Akane is as stubborn as Ranma is, gets angry very easily and when she gets angry, she gets violent. Typically, she'll pull a mallet from no where and start to hit Ranma with it. She, however, is often the prize for a duel between Ranma and his foe, and, as you know, Ranma always wins....
