It's a Valentine's Day layout. No, really, it is! I had a totally different idea in mind to start out with, but fate intervened. On Jan. 22nd I ran into my ex-crush. Warm fluffly memories came back to me, and I was head over heels in love again. So, this layout is dedicated to that crush of mine. Very cheery, huh? The sexy eyes on the top belong to Ashton Kutcher, and were slightly modified using the Diffuse Glow filter in Photoshop 5.5. What else can I say? Happy Valentine's Day???

++Dedications++
This layout is dedicated to:
Ryan, my crush, as was mentioned above.
Ashton Kutcher, because his birthday is on Feb. 7th, and because his picture was used in the making of this layout.
All my friends who are boyfriendless at the moment.
Andrew Olson, simply because he's so gorgeous.
Philip Kirkorov, because he's such an amazing singer, and because the lyrics featured on this layout are from his song "Go".

BGM~: Kokoro Made -- Hisakawa Aya

My brain is slowly disintegrating, mangs. I'm finding it hard to express my thoughts out loud. I always stammer and leave my sentences unfinished. I'm pretty sure everyone who knows me is finding me weird. *pokes her brain* What's wrong with this thing anyway? Or is it my tongue? Or my vocal cords? Hm? Anyone?

We had a lighting crew meeting today. It was rather...interesting. I had to climb up to the booms again. This time all the way to the top. The ladder was shaking under me, the fixtures wouldn't turn, the wrench didn't want to go back in my pockets when I didn't need it...It was a disaster. I really don't like the booms. The coves are the way to go. First cove especially. It would make for one killer make-out spot, I'm telling ya. Heh. Anyhoo, the whole crew got hungry after a while, so half of us went to Big Mike's to get...roll-ups, was it? and the rest of us (namely Kaitlin, Rachael, Melinda, and me) went to this little grocery store by our school. We decided to invest in something big for all of us rather than just buy separate snacks. The result? Peanut butter and cheddar cheese sandwiches with honey sticks on the side. Lovely. It was actually quite good, to my surprise. O___O

I practiced the piano for three hours today. That...*resists the urge to swear*...piano teacher of mine...

BGM~: Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien -- Edit Piaf

The new layout it is. Whoo, I got almost all the HTML coding done. Tomorrow I shall put mah baby up! But for now it's quiet reading time for me...I haven't read anything in over a week (excluding blogs and textbooks). *dashes off to finish "Three Men in a Boat"*

I just realized that the sidebar for this bloggie looks like sh*t. I'm gonna have to update it sometime soon...possibly now. Or not. New layout or sidebar? Sidebar or new layout? Tough choice.

BGM~: Touch and Go -- Hayashibara Megumi

Yukino! That's so true! Pechorin is the coolest, no matter what anyone says! Hooray for Pechorin!

I finally finished the layout for another site of mine. I'm so good.

BGM~: Midnight Blue -- Hayashibara Megumi

My piano teacher is a biotch. She always tells me that my rhythm is off. So I play it with a metronome, and she still says it's wrong. So I play it again. And again. And she comes to the conclusion that I'm very good at following the metronome, but that the metronome is wrong. What the?

I got an A on my Am. Lit. essay. Exciting. It's funny how I usually get A's on in-class writing assignments without actually trying. Everytime we have one, I never do anything to prepare for it, while other people spend hours and hours writing out outlines and prewriting their whole essay. Then, when writing it, I use ugly language, and write whatever comes to mind. My essay always ends up being twice as short as other people's. But I get a good grade nonetheless. Weird.

BGM~: Hell -- Squirrel Nut Zippers

Woo, haven't blogged in forever. School takes up too much time. Here's my schedule for this past week:

Monday - Tutoring.
Tuesday - Yearbook, then rehearsal for the Collage Concert.
Wednesday - Math meet, Collage Concert.
Thursday - piano lesson.

Nothing today, thankfully. A math test, though. That wasn't too bad. Srikanth wrote this fake little proggy for our calculators, I stole it from him, and found it extremely helpful on the text. *glomps Srikanth* Thankee very much, Genius Boy! Ahh...we calculus ppl are so bad. Heh. I sure hope Mr. K. isn't reading this.

Okee. In art class Cynthia and I are spending all our spare time drooling over Andy O. She knows him from swim team, and even has a pic of him. Hehehe. That pic is so gorgeous. *drools a full bucket* I'm sending that guy a Singing Valentine, no matter what!

Whoo, it just came to me how messed up next week is. Observe:

Monday - half-day. Exciting.
Tuesday - AMC (math) tests in da morning.
Wednesday - standardized testing PM.
Thursday - standardized testing AM.
Friday - Singing Valentines, Midwinter Aud.

Kaitlin B. (my lighting crewhead) is on Midwinter Court! Hip-hip-hooray!

This entry is full of short little paragraphs. I know it's annoying. But I can't do anything about it, my thoughts are just so freakishly random!

BGM~: LMC noises

Ahh...I don't wanna go to class. I just got done with my French homework, and then remembered that the Am. Lit. extra credit is due today. We're supposed (well, not supposed, really, 'cuz it's only extra credit) to write four clerihews about Puritan writers. But, given that I'm an ignoramus and not poet material, I've been procrastinating. And now it's due today. Blah. Oh well, not that I need extra credit anyway. It's only the beginning of the quarter, after all. *gasps* Yikes! The thesis statements for our in-class writing assignments are due today, too! Aaaaah!

BGM~: Milord -- Edit Piaf

Heh, I'm a blogging fiend today. It's just so nice to blog without having to write all those HTML tags and worrying about writing the entry in the right place...Hehehe. I'm just lazy, I guess.

I actually picked up a paintbrush today. That makes me happy. Usually I formulate all these ideas in my head, and never get them down on paper. Today was different. I took out my easel, stretched a piece of watercolor paper, and painted like a madwoman. In an hour, a painting was produced. I'm quite pleased with it, actually. I'll scan it in sometime (that art section on my personal site is rather empty...or, should I say, nonexistent?).

Speaking of art, I was working on my linoleum print for art class, and discovered something quite interesting. See, we're using these thick slabs of easy-cut linoleum rather than the hard, thin stuff, and Mrs. Wo reuses them. That is, our pieces of easy-cut have someone else's work on the back. The pieces are so thick that it makes no difference in terms of working on them, but there's a big difference cost-wise. Anyhoo...I was examining the artwork on the reverse side of my piece, and greatly admiring it. Then, I noticed that the slab of easy-cut had something written along one side. And guess what was written there? A. Olson. Presumably Andrew Olson from my math class. I had a crush on him for a while in the beginning of the school year. Heh. Fun coincidence, huh? I'm gonna compliment him on his artwork tomorrow. It will give me a reason to talk to him. *g*

I've had terrible hiccups the entire day today. My chest and stomach hurt now. And no remedy seems to be working. I've tried holding my breath, drinking tons of water, thinking of a black horse with a white tail...nothing works!!! Argh!!! It's very painful.

BGM~: Go -- Philip Kirkorov

Woo, it's the song that's featured on this version of mah bloggie. Woo-hoo. It's awesome. Go and download it here.

Now that I have the archives fixed, it's time to tell you about my life in this past week. I haven't had much time to blog, due to an overload of school work and extracurricular activities. So, brace yourselves for one long entry. ^_~

I got to see our school play, "The Man Who Came to Dinner", on Wednesday. They had the designer run-through, and all the crewheads were invited. And given that I'm a crewhead-in-training, I was invited, too. Well, the play left much to be wished for. The cast was pretty good, especially the guys playing Sheridan Whiteside, Beverly Carlton, and Banjo, and then also the girls playing Dr. Bradley, Miss Harriet, Miss Preen, and Lorraine Sheldon. The rest...well, I'm not the person to judge them, 'cuz I myself can't act if my life depends on it. *shrugs* We'll see how they improve over time.

Blah. I have to play at a piano recital on my birthday. How much does that suck? I hate piano recitals with all my heart. They make me so nervous, and I always manage to mess up somehow, no matter how well I played the piece at home and during my lessons. Ugh-ness.

I see a white line whereever I look. A horizontal white line smack dab in the center of everything. Am I losing my vision? Hmmm... Me needs to go see an oculist. I've been spending too much time in front of AIVAS-II, and I wouldn't be surprised if I went from a 20/20 vision to a 10/10. Hmm, again.

Heh. I'm so proud of myself. On Friday we had a lighting crew meeting to focus lights for the collage concert (that's a band concert at our school, for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about). *_____* And I got to climb up to the booms and adjust lights there. You have no idea how fun and scary that is. I'm not scared of heights, BUT in order to get to the booms, you have to climb up a shaky ladder that tends not to touch the wall on one side. *shivers* Then, you have to make your way through a tangle of cords, and slowly find a comfortable position to stand in while focusing the top light. Of course, you do all that while holding a wrench in one hand. Fun. Then you find that the light that you're supposed to focus is so old and rusty that it won't turn...and when you manage to turn it, it won't move up and down...and when you take care of that problem, it won't flood. And finally, you find that it's missing a shutter, rendering it impossible to use it for the concert. So you move down to the next light...and the next...

I'm babbling. All of the posts below are simply babbling. No point to them. No point whatsoever. This post doesn't have a point either. It's just a test. A test to see if I can get Blogger to work to my satisfaction! *emits a low growl*

BGM~: Crystal Eyes -- YST -- Sasaki Nozomu

Gee, this Blogger thingie is tough to figure out. The archive page alone is costing me half an hour of work. Big question: is it worth it??? Perhaps I should go back to the old method of doing everything manually...Or not. I really really don't want to update all those previous pages....Ugh-ugh-ugh.

Hm. Let's see if I can get the hang of all those Blogger tags. Phew...it's hard work, mangs.
