UNITED STATES I

We arrived in Los Angeles for our 1997 autumn vacation. L. A. is one of the biggest cities in the United States of America, and with such gstatush, is cosmopolitan as all the other big towns in the world. What makes L. A. so gspecialh is maybe the fact that it is the glandh of the worldfs most famous gmovie starsh. Being there, one must visit the gHollywood Walk of Fameh, where around 2.500 celebrities have their feet printed on it. The bronze star sign with the names of famous radio, TV, cinema gpersonalitiesh beside it makes this gsidewalkh peculiar in all aspects.

Walt Disneyfs idea of a gmagical little parkh was inaugurated in 1955 and, since then, gDisneylandh is considered one of the biggest amusement parks in the world. Today, the Magic Kingdomfs eight theme parks create a childfs paradise of rides, shows, and real-life storybook characters. We visited Disneyland! Wellc have you ever heard that, even though we grow up, we still carry a gchild spirith inside of us?

San Francisco is considered one of the most romantic towns in the States. As for us, it was not different. The visit to the gFisherman Wharfh, the gLombard Streeth, etc. together, made our visit to San Francisco even more special.

The Golden Gate Bridge is the cityfs symbol. Its construction was concluded around 1937 and, contrary to the gpessimists previsionsh, it did not fall down due to the strong winds that blow in the San Francisco Bay. The best way to gfeelh the bridge is to walk by it (it does shake because of the windy climate of S.F.). From the gMarinh view point, you can see the best gpanoramah of this San Franciscofs gorgeous post-card.
