Las Vegas, in Nevada State, was also one of the places we chose to visit in the States. Las Vegas has gnothingh but a long avenue (Las Vegas Boulevard) full of hotels and casinos. What makes this Boulevard interesting is that most of the hotels built there have their names (and architecture structure) according to some worldfs famous gmonumenth. We visited the gLuxor Hotelh there (however, the real Pyramids are not even located in Luxor, but in Gize, 18 Km from Cairo).

We drove from Las Vegas to the gGrand Canyon National Parkh, crossing the Mojave Desert, located close to the border of Arizona State and California. It is definitely a spectacular desert landscape.

After a long drive, we finally arrived at the gGrand Canyon National Parkh, in Arizona State. No photograph can describe the thrill of standing on the canyonfs rim and feeling its sheer immensity. We had the chance to see the sunset there and it was gorgeous: it seems that the earth tones change as the sunlight disappears! Very beautiful!

The autumn is special in the gRocky Mountainsh (Colorado State). Maybe mother-nature blessed that land, because the beginning of the autumns there, when all the treesf leaves start changing their colors, is extremely beautiful! We visited Telluride city and Aspen Ski Resort in Colorado State, but Ouray was the place we chose to stay for a few days (because thatfs where my first American family lives). It was our last stop before going back home after such great vacation.
