THAILAND II

Thailandfs second city, dubbed the gRose of the Northh, Chiang Mai is only one-hour flight from Bangkok. In Chiang Mai, we had the opportunity to enjoy a gTraditional Thai Danceh night show, including a typical gThai cuisine dinnerh. The food? gHoth as pure red pepper! The dance show? Beautiful!! As our guide book mentioned, gafter the show, dancers, with their extravagantly colorful outfits, will happily pose for photographs after the performanceh. It was true!

Chiang Mai has also a lot of gWatsh (shrines) worth seeing it. Just like most of the shrines in Thailand, Chiang Maisf also have beautiful decoration, a mixture of colors and gold.

A visit to Thailand is not gcompleteh if you donft visit Phi Phi island, around two hours by boat from Phuket island, Thaifs largest one. Phi Phi is blessed with natural beauty, crystalline blue water beaches, coconut palms all over the coast, soft breeze! For those who love the ocean, Phi Phi would be the perfect place, gparadiseh! We both loved it.

Going to Thailand, one must wear and take pictures with formal Thai outfits. This is possible all over the country and we had our experience in one of the small tents at the gNight Bazaarh, in Chiang Mai. It does not take too long to prepare ourselves for the photo and the result is a memory forever.
