To the Urasoe City Mayor Office by OIC JICA bus.

Welcomed by Carolyn (a British) who could speak Japanese. Chaired by Mr Matayoshi, the Director of Planning Division of the Urasoe City Office.

Look at the table -- the envelopes contain gift from the City Office.

Everybody was requested to put on the clothes.

We were all served with Japanese cakes and teas.

After the briefing, we were all ushered to view the city from the building. At the horizon, you could see the Sea of Japan. About 180 degrees from what you see now is the Pacific Sea.

Well, this is me,

and my friends.

Going back to the guest room, I, on behalf of all participants, gave the thank you speech:

 "Konnichiwa.

On behalf of all training participants who are present today, I would like to extend to you, the Director of Planning Division, Mr Matayoshi, our deepest gratitude for spending your time with us despite of your very busy schedule.

It is actually a great honor to be given this opportunity to meet you and be in your office, as even in our own country we might not have the opportunity to do the same. "Love at the first sight" – that might be my personal feeling when we cruised through the city last week as compared to other busy cities in the world. We are enjoying our stay here. And hope to enjoy more for the next couple of months.

Again, Mr Matayoshi, we would like to tell you that we are sincerely grateful of your very warm hospitality. We believe that the two months stay here in Urasoe City, Okinawa will be a vehicle for us to explore more about Japanese Culture and Society.

[[Apart from technical knowledge that we would be getting, we are also grateful that OIC has been conducting a Japanese Language class as a preparation for us to enjoy our living here more and be as close to you all, the Japanese, as possible, on the land of great technology advancement.]]

Arigato gozaimasu !"

And for a memory before leaving the premis:
