It combined the technology of digital camera (which took a photo of an event), digital cellular phone and portable computer (which transmitted / received the image and some texts), portable microwave transmitter / receiver (to transmit and receive data).

Now, only 16% fiber optic infrastructure in Japan. It is expected that about 15 years from now, all houses in Japan would be using fibers.

Question: There have been researchers going on in some European countries including UK to use power supply cable as a way to implement multimedia and internet. As a telecommunication company, similar to Telekom Malaysia, how does NTT feel about this news? Is it a threat to our business?

Answer: This is my first time listening to the news. Personally, I could not response to that question at the moment.
