Three years have passed since Yargus was defeated and Crystal Tokyo was once again safe. The areas of the city destroyed in the frequent attacks have been repaired. The inhabitants of Crystal Tokyo have mourned their lost loved ones, mended their wounds and have somehow found the courage to let life go on.
Let us revisit the Jewel Wielders today to find out who and what they have become in the last three years.
The Jewel Wielders.
EDEN
AGE: 18 years old.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Eden is of medim height with the physique of a professional athlete. She wears her hair in a loose ponytail down her back.
JEWEL: The Amethyst
PERSONALITY: She is a very caring person who will help her family and friends in a moment. Like her mother, Lita, Eden believes in accepting people just the way they are. She doesn't try to change anyone, instead she sees their goodness inside. She is also very dedicated, when she sets a goal, nothing will get in her way. She has become the most accomplished and celebrated athlete in Crystal Tokyo. Following in her mother's footsteps she has become an important figure in the Defense Committee. Eden especially charishes her family life, insisiting on living with her family, helping in family chores and participating in family outings! Eden's insistence on teamwork and fair play have been a great asset to the Jewel Wielders a true sign that she has grown into a remarkable woman.
LIKES: Eden loves to participate in any type of sport there is, but her favourite is baseball and hockey. She is currently the captain of Crystal Tokyo's professional hockey team and was voted the VIP for her participation in Crystal Tokyo's International baseball team. Despite her busy schedule she enjoys hanging out with her friends, cooking and and shopping. She most enjoys spending time with her boyfriend of two years Keith, who shares many of her hobbies.
DISLIKES: Eden has developed a serious over the last three years. She dislikes laziness and dislikes those who selfishly try to gain the spotlight or who try to be what they are not. While she excels in school, she hates to sit still during class, prefering to work out in the school gym or take a field trip in a museum. Her most emphatic dislike is Yargus and his attempt to concer her world. She will do everything in her power to stop him.
GOALS FOR THE FUTURE: As well as continuing to be a Jewel Wielder, Eden plans to join Super Sailor Jupiter in her duties of planetary defense. She feels that she has unique ideas to make Crystal Tokyo a safer place to live.
AMBER
AGE: Almost sixteen years old.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Amber is short, with short, yellow-orange hair and hazel eyes.
JEWEL: The Amber Jewel.
PERSONALITY: Amber has a very casual attitude about everything. She loves to play hard and have fun. She doesn't like to do the same thing for very long, going from one activity to another. Amber has been best friends with Rhetta, almost since they were born, and loves to drag Rhetta out of her studies to go to the mall, or just hang out with her friends. She sometimes gets into trouble, espcially when her grades drop or she is caught cutting class.
LIKES: This teenager is fascinated with history, the only subject she loves in school. She can usually be found digging into the historical archives, checking out many types of music or movies. She adores going to museums, which sometimes bores her friends to tears. Amber loves to read, not that you could tell from her grades. What she loves most is to hang out with her friends, even if they do drive her nuts.. She loves the idea of being a Jewel Wielder. She can help protect her friend Serenity AND she has the opportunity to fight some of Yargus' robots.
DISLIKES: Amber hates to sit still, since there is so much to do and explore. This is why she hates school. Why sit there and be lectured to when she could be out in the world, finding out for herself? She also hates to wear anything except for her jeans and a t-shirt, which succeeds in constantly annoying her parents.
GOALS FOR THE FUTURE: While she has no concrete plans for the future, (she doesn't know what she having for breakfast tomorrow) she plans on "kicking some metal butt" as she says and to convince her mom that not wearing a dress isn't the end of the world.
RHETTA
AGE: 16 years old.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Rhetta is somewhat tall, around 5'7. She has long, red flowing hair that reaches her ankles. She is very slender and delicate looking, hiding a strong physique and a keen, intelligent mind.
JEWEL: The Ruby.
PERSONALITY: She is a very quiet and studious person, much like her mother. She excels in school, finding the pursuit of knoweldge exciting. Though she spends most of her time on scientific experiments, her best friend Amber s succeeds in dragging her on her escapades. She loves to have fun with her friends, and especially with her boyfriend Lyn. Amber loves to tease her about that, which ususally causes her to blush furiously.
LIKES: Rhetta's passion is science, the world is filled with wonder and knowledge yet to explore. Her second pleasure is to go for long walks in the Royal Gardens with Lyn, something they try and do every evening. Though she may seem quiet and serious, she loves to listen to crazy music that Amber finds in the historical archives and loves to visit museums and historical sites with her.
DISLIKES: Rhetta hates failure. She tries to excel in everything she does. She also hates to see people suffer. That is one of the reasons she has agreed to become a Jewel Wielder, while protecting Neo Princess Serenity is an honour to her, she wants to help rid the world of Yargus, so that he can no longer cause suffering to the people of Crystal Tokyo.
GOALS FOR THE FUTURE: Rhetta plans to be the top scientist in Crystal Tokyo. She wants to rid the planet of disease and suffering. She also hopes to marry Lyn as soon as she is old enough. With both of these in mind, she would like to continue her work as a Jewel Wielder.
LYN
AGE: 18 years old.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Lyn is just over six feet tall, with straight, shoulder length brown hair. He is strong and muscular. Lyn strongly resembles his father, Chad, but has his mother's eyes.
JEWEL: The Emerald.
PERSONALITY: Lyn has a very easy-going personality. He is caring and patient. Despite this, he has inherited his mother's legendary temper. When angered, his temper is fierce and unrelenting. Sometimes only the intervention of Rhetta will soothe his irritated mood. Despite this, he has a good sense of humour and enjoys teasing his friends, especially Amber. He is in love with Rhetta and would do anything to ensure her happiness.
LIKES: Lyn enjoys fast, strenous activities, like football, and hockey. Despite Rhetta's constant worry, he has a passion for riding sleek vehicles at top speeds and can often be found at the race track trying to beat Haruka in a race. (Once in a while he wins, though Haruka will never admit to it willingly!) He loves to spend time with Rhetta and drag her out of her experiments to go for a walk, with her, in the Gardens or to spend time with their friends.
DISLIKES: Lyn passionately hates Yargus and plans to take that villain out as fast as he can. Not that he will that get in the way of his duties protecting the Princess. He also hates agreeing with his mother, since she thinks she is always right. Their loud, agressive arguments have been heard echoing through the Crystal Palace, to the embarassment of his father.
GOALS FOR THE FUTURE: After his upcomming graduation from high school, he plans to continue his education at Crystal Tokyo's Royal Academy. He hopes to earn his degree in technology so that he can contribute to the technological advancement of Crystal Tokyo. In his plans are his future marriage to Rhetta (if he can convince her parents) and his continuing role as a Jewel Wielder.
