"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the priest said solemnly.
Reenie and Rannon kissed. The crowd cheered. It was just two weeks after the attack by Jedite. Now Reenie and Rannon were married.
Erica turned to Michelle. "After the wedding, I will follow the Salin boy. He cannot live."
"Are you going to kill him?" Michelle asked, already knowing the answer.
"Yes." Erica nodded slowly.
She pushed her glasses up her nose. The woman turned to the book she had stolen from the Great Library of the Fire Temple. Wouldn't the great priestess, Rei, be surprised when she returned to the temple?
She read the spell. "Why must these spells be so long?" she mused aloud. "I have only a few days until the end."
She began the first part of the spell, drawing a pentagram upon the floor in chalk. "The element earth," she mumbled, pulling it's power. Then she lit five sticks of incense and placed one at each point. "The element air." Placing five candles at eahc point, she mumbled, "The element fire." Tracing the chalk pentagram with wine, she whispered, "The element water."
She began the last part of the spell. Opening a cage, she removed a small kitten. With a grin, she broke it's neck. Throwing the kitten into the pentagram, she pulled upon the final element. "The element death."
"With all these elements, I summon the Virago!" she shouted, a sudden pain spearing her head. The energy required to hold the spell already was taking it's toll.
A blast of smoke obliterated the kitten. The spell had begun.
"Pharoah 1?" Jedite asked. "I've never heard of Pharoah 1."
"Not surprisingly," Citrine returned. "Queen Beryl kept her soldiers woefully ignorant."
"Weren't you also one of Queen Beryl's generals? Or am I too stupid to remember correctly?" Jedite goaded her.
"I wasn't always," Citrine said quietly. Her attitude changed abruptly. "But now to business. We must get rid of the Sailor Senshi"
"And you think you can do what Queen Beryl has never done?" Jedite asked skeptically.
"I am not Queen Beryl," Citrine strolled to a tall black pillar amidst the crystals. She pressed her hand against the smooth surface.
"Obviously," Jedite mumbled. "Which is why I wonder that you think trying to take her place?"
Citrine turned. "I am not taking her place. She died. I intend to live."
Jedite laughed, knowing he had reached a sore spot. "What is your plan?" he said with a mocking tone.
"I have analyzed the past," Citrine replied, her dislike of Jedite apparent. "I have found when the Senshi were there weakest."
"And how does that help us?"
"You will travel into the past and kill Sailor Moon."
"Wouldn't you love to have a wedding like that?" Adam asked Naomi. They stood staring out at Crystal Tokyo through a large window in Adam's apartment.
She laughed. "No. I don't want to get married."
"Not even to me?" Adam pretended to be offended.
"Certainly not to a strange man like you," Naomi joked.
Naomi started a pot of coffee as Adam headed to the shower. She was humming an odd tune when she heard the front door open.
"Who's there?" she asked.
Standing in the doorway, Erica stared back. "I have come to see Adam Salin."
"You've been having the dreams, haven't you?" Naomi asked.
"How did you know about my dreams?" Erica asked.
"That's why you taught your daughter fencing. You knew that your time is groing short. Rachel must be trained to be the next Sailor Uranus." Naomi stepped closer.
"That is why Adam must die. I see pain, suffering. And all at the hands of Adam Salin." She pulled a knife from her belt. "I will kill you to get to him."
"I see more than pain. I see the end of this world. I see the death of the Senshi. You cannot stop it."
"I cannot stop it because it is inevitable or because you will not let me?" Erica asked.
"I will not let you kill Adam," Naomi threatened.
Erica lunged. Naomi ducked.
Erica pulled her transformation stick out. "Uranus Planet-"
Naomi yanked the pen from her hands. "This is not your time!" she shouted. "It is the end."
Erica punched Naomi. Naomi sprawled on the floor. Erica's transformation pen clattered on the floor. Dazed, Naomi stood up.
Adam walked in from the shower. "What the hell?" he asked.
Erica hit Naomi again. Naomi stumbled backwards and fell against the wall. It was a partial victory, Erica still had to face Adam.
Erica recovered the pen form the floor. "Uranus Planet Power!"
Adam faced her. "I will kill you."
"Funny, I was thinking of killing you," Sailor Uranus said. "Uranus Space Sword Blast!"
Adam pulled upon the power deep within. A dark ball blazed from his hand, neutralizing Uranus's attack. He attacked again before Uranus had time to recover.
Uranus tried to block the attack, but it struck her full force. Adam attack her again and yet again. The force and brutality of the attacks drove her back across the room.
Adam continued his relentless attack until Uranus collapsed on the floor near the large window. He approached her. "I said I would kill you." He prepared to attack again with the intent to kill her.
Uranus jumped out the window.
Jedite arrived on the streets of Tokyo. It smelled like fire and death. The sky, dark and oppressive, flashed destructive lances of lightning.
Across the rubble which the littered the ground Jedite saw a battle. He remembered his orders from Citrine. "Sailor Moon will be battling Galaxia. She will take Sailor Moon's star seed. That is when you must attack. Sailor Moon will be defenseless. That cannot be too hard even for you."
Sailor Moon screamed as her star seed was taken. She collapsed onto the ground. "Time to act."
Galaxia raised her sword to finish off Sailor Moon who was now covered in only transformation ribbons. Jedite rushed Chibichibi, his sword at the ready. Chibichibi began praying. The sword struck.
Chibichibi cried out slightly before fading and dying. Galaxia's sword impaled Sailor Moon. Sailor Starfighter screamed.
Galaxia turned to Jedite. "You have killed the light of hope."
