KINDAICHI SHONEN NO JIKENBO(Kindaichi boy's accident file / The Files of young Kindaichi)

A young man who showed little promise while a high school student becomes a master detective, just like his grandfather.
[Regarding the second series] This is the second TV series of the manga strip. Kindaichi Hajime (Domoto), and his good friend Miyuki (Tomosaka) are high school detectives. This show was very popular last summer, it even bested 'Aishiteirutte itte kure' in the ratings. Every week there is a special guest star. The two kid detectives solve all kinds of murders, mysteries, etc.. Fun TV. It's actually pretty good.

STARRING: Domoto Tsuyoshi (KinKi Kids), Tomosaka Rie, Nakayama Emiri, Miura Rieko, Kosugi Kane and more...
THEME SONG: Hitori Ja nai by Domoto Tsuyoshi in year 1995 & Kiss kara Hajimaru Mystery by KinKi Kids in year 1996.
		NETWORK: NTV
DURATION: There has been two series and an anime series based on the manga.( July15-September16 1995 and July13-September21 1996 )
RECOMMENDATION: This is really good.  For those who love X-Files/investigative mystery dramas which is a bit on the hip side.  I thought the casting of Dohmoto Tsuyoshi and Tomosaka Rie was excellent and definitely recommended for the drama viewer.

 SECOND CHANCE

together for a second chance in their life. A very good drama. The widowed mother of three boys has fallen in love with a
widower who has a daughter in junior high school. The journey of
their developing romance is sensitively interwoven with their

Dareka ga Dareka ni Koi Shiteru (Somebody is in Love with Somebody)

"Dareka ga Dareka ni Koi Shiteru" special drama featuring Mori Mitusko, Higashiyama Noriyuki (Shonentai), Nakai-chan, and Domoto Tsuyoshi (KinKi
Kids), with the theme (of all things!!) "love over a computer network." Nakai-chan uses the name "Ai-no Karyudo" which means "Hunter of Love"... This
drama also was center of attention because former Minister of Finance Takemura has a short appearance. You can see the Electronic Cafe Tokyo on
TV! The program is "Dareka Ga Dareka Ni Koi Shiteru (Somebody is in Love with Somebody)". Produced by Kazunori Shiokawa and Naoyuki Yokoi, and Directed by Shin- ichi Kamoshita.

		THEME SONG: ???
		NETWORK: TBS
		DURATION: One special episode drama.(March 29, 1996).
RECOMMENDATION: Electronic Cafe Tokyo promoted this drama
like crazy and I was expecting this super internet drama but it was
very boring.  It's not what you expect it to be...it's very corny.

WAKABA NO KORO(About the Young Generation)
Two teenage boys from starkly different backgrounds find
themselves joined in a common search to discover how to do the
right thing and find happiness in life. One boy, whose father is an
alcoholic, works hard to care for his younger brothers, while the
other enjoys the privileges of a wealthy family, but is starved for
his father's love. Their friendship reflects the sadness, pain, and
sometimes cruelty that can enter into the relationships between
fathers and sons in today's society.
Takeshi (Tsuyoshi) 15, lives with his younger brother and
sister and alcoholic father in a small Tokyo suburb. Takeshi works
two jobs at nite to support his family because his father is in no
shape to work. Kai (Koichi) 15, is the son of the town doctor.
Their lifestyles are the opposite. Kai and Takeshi start off as
enemies but become good friends. Izumi (Okina ) 15, is Takeshi's
childhood friend. Takeshi likes her but she likes Kai. This drama is a
trauma drama. Love, friendship, adultery, attempted murder,
                       betrayal, etc.. are all touched.

STARRING: KinKi Kids (Domoto Tsuyoshi and Koichi), Okina

THEME SONG: FIRST OF MAY by BEEGEES & Friends by KinKi Kids
		NETWORK: TBS
		DURATION: 12 Episodes total.(April 12-June 28, 1996)
RECOMMENDATION: This drama was very good...I was
surprised.  A lot of things that can make you say "Oh, this is one of
those screwed up dramas" but it shows its strength until the end.
Very sad but very good !

RECOMMENDATION: It's a touching special and the story is very
good as well.  But it is predictable since their has been dramas like
                       this before.

RECOMMENDATION: I enjoyed this...it was strange (NTV dramas
are usually strange) but it was kinda weird.  Anyways, I think
mostly fans of KinKi Kids or Johnny's Jr. will watch this.

                       AO NO JIDAI (Blue Days)
"Ao no Jidai" ( July 3, 9 p.m. on TBS) is about a wicked boy
(Domoto Tsuyoshi) struggling in society with other delinquents,
and a young lawyer ( Kamikawa Takaya) who helps him. Later, the
lawyer develops a double personality and betrays the boy. Abandoned by his mother and having had to fend for himself,
Hasumi Ryuu (Domoto Tsuyoshi) is one of many Japanese youths
that have turned to a life of petty crime in order to survive in
Japanese society. Life on the streets has given him a tough
exterior, but it is his kind heart and his dislike for what he has
become that wins over a local beauty and helps him take his first
steps towards a better life. When an overzealous and less than
ethical police inspector fingers Ryuu for a crime he didn't commit,
he is resigned to accept his fate. However, help emerges from an
unexpected source to give him the strength to fight for his
freedom: a victim of one of his past crimes.

 HARMONIA
Another love story enters the world of the occult. In NTV's
drama "Harmonia" (July 11, 9 p.m.), Koichi Domoto of KinKi Kids
plays a music student who becomes involved in the case of a girl
who cannot understand any language but music, due to an
incurable brain disease.   He is asked to cooperate in a medical
treatment using music, and the girl is inspired to use her hidden
supernatural powers. Based on a novel by Setsuko Shinoda.

STARRING: Domoto Koichi (KinKi Kids) ,Miki Nakatani, Akiko Yada
THEME SONG: Ai to Chinmoku by Shounentai
		NETWORK: NTV
		DURATION: 9 episodes. (July 11-September 12, 1998)
RECOMMENDATION: Typical NTV drama to have another X-Files
freaky drama.  This drama is FUH-REAKY!  It's interesting but like
most NTV dramas, it tends to borderline spooky to corny.  This
drama is one of the better ones though....

Kimi to Ita Mirai no Tame ni -- I'll be

senior ,who suddenly dies on Dec. 31, 1999 returns to life four
years earlier, and, with full memory of his future, attempts to
correct past mistakes and realize that previously unaccomplished

RECOMMENDATION: From the little of what I saw, it seems to be
another NTV crazy drama...not sure if it's about multi-personalities
                       or what.

 To Heart-- Koi Shite Shinitai
Tokieda Yuji (Domoto Tsuyoshi) will be featured in To Heart
Koishite Shinitai. He plays a college dropout determined to make it
as a boxer. This gives real-life former boxer Yoshii Masaru
(Hidekazu Akai) a chance to return to his roots playing Domoto's
coach. Domoto is enamored of his boss at the flower shop where he
works part-time, an unusual sideline for a boxer, but she has only
a motherly affection for him. That leaves plenty of room for his
chief fan, Miura Toko (Kyoko Fukada), to show up at ringside with a
bouquet for the boxer. To make it clear that this is a summer of
'99 drama, Fukada is employed in a crepe shop and believes in the
                       predictions of Nostradamus.
The meaning of the confusing title of To Heart: Koi Shite
Shinitai (Fridays at 9 p.m. on TBS network) was revealed to us in
the first episode. It seems the Nostradamus-believing Ryoko
Fukada character wants to fall in love before the world ends and it
is already July. No wonder she hurriedly picks our hero the boxing
florist Tsuyoshi Domoto. [From Wm. Penn - Daily Yomiuri 7/7/99].

P.S. Genki Desu Shunpei (P.S. I'm fine Shunpei)
Meanwhile, Koichi Domoto stars in P.S. Genki desu Shunpei
(starting tonight at 10 p.m. on TBS). It is the tale of the romance
between a would-be Waseda University student and a powerful,
cynical college dropout (Asaka Seto) who meet in cram school. The
supporting cast in this one looks more interesting than Shunpei
himself. Nenji Kobayashi plays Shunpei's neighbor, a Waseda grad,
who enjoys living off his wife's bar hostess income. Takaya
Kamikawa has the role of a debt collector for a loan shark firm who
