CHAPTER #06 : When the River meets the Ocean
( At the dinning table.)
" Where have You been to Just now?" Mitsui Asked.
"Well...., I didn't go anywhere. Just went to the laundry shop to collect some cleaned clothes or else I won't have any school uniform to wear tomorrow." Kotori replied.
Then the both of them chatted till late the night until the waiter had to ask them to leave because they were closing the shop already. Meanwhile, Sendoh who was at home all alone was getting worried that Kotori was not home. Thus he decided to go out to look for her.
Just then, Mitsui was sending Kotori home. From far, Sendoh saw Kotori thus he quickened his footsteps and walked towards her. Upon reaching her, he took her hand and shove her to go home. (At that point of time, Mitsui bent over to tie his shoe laces , so Sendoh can't see him!) At the moment, He felt someone grasping on to his shoulder tightly. He turned over to find that it was actually Shohoku high's - Hisashi Mitsui! Just as Sendoh turned over, Mitsui was shocked to see him. - Ryonan High's Akira Sendoh!
'What's he doing with Kotori?'-Both of them wondered at the same time but neither of them spoke for the time being.Kotori was stuck in between both of them. She could neither speak nor move.
"It's Late. Lets go home." finally Sendoh spoke, breaking the silence among then three of them. At the same time, Sendoh pushed away Mitsui's hand and grasped even more tightly n Kotori's wrist. And the both of them left.
As their shadows disappeared into the darkness of the night poor Mitsui was being left behind all alone, standing in the dark pavement and soon, rain fell upon him.... .
